Still my favorite market and it just keeps getting better and better. Every week there seems to be new quality gluten free goodies and the best thing is they now carry Spiked Seltzer which is so amazing I’ve been driving to Jersey and Long Island to get it. Gluten free, high abv, no added sugar and only one weight watchers point per bottle. The place is always clean and stocked and I find the prices just as affordable as any grocery store but this place has waaaayyyyy more specialty items.

These people are going to need a lot of luck. You’re surrounded by two massive Shoprites. The one in Morristown is incredible and you now have Wegmans breaking ground. I thought it would be more special, but all it is, is a gussied up Key Food market from NYC which is nothing great. Expensive and not a great selection. Sorry to be so cynical but I’m an ex — New Yorker and I’ve shopped there. Good luck you’re going to need it. Just ask Farm Fresh down the street, they’ll tell you. :(

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! The pre-cooked meals are delicious and reasonably priced. Everything is fresh and the store is very clean! There are tons of options and every employee is very friendly and helpful.

When Olive Tree first opened up we were excited to try their selection of meats and fish. We bought a few packages of different meat and could not eat any of them. Poor quality, not fresh, terrible taste. Inedible! So we gave them one more chance and tried their supposedly fresh seafood. We bought 2 dozen clams and 3 lobster tails. While we cooked the clams the whole house smelled, we knew something was wrong. Disgusting breading and clams were practically sour. The lobster tails were tough and once again inedible. DONOTSPENDYOURHARDEARNEDMONEY here. Go to Met Food on Victory instead.

Very friendly service, good selections(including organic and free range if you go for that) and like that they sell their own cucumbers, tomato sauces, etc.)

This market is very centrally located. Finally an owner has opened up a great market here! All the employees are helpful if you need any assistance. The owner takes pride in his fresh baked breads. Also, the store has many precooked meal options. It feels very clean and has many items without the hassle of a big grocery store.

They sell old unrefrigerated(they prob shut off refrigerators at night to preserve energy) meat just like the last owners. Disgusting. Only took a couple of weeks for them to fail. Just like Miggys. So disappointed.

Such an improvement from the pithole that Miggies came to be. Very good choices of food and it is so clean. They have a fish market(Seabreeze) which always has fresh selections at the lowest possible prices. Their selection of meats and cheeses are outstanding for a small market. Lots of different choices for ready made food and even healthy alternatives. I live right here so it is my «go-to» when I need something fast or a quick bite. They added beer and lotto now so once they get metro cards it will be a one stop shopping place. They are a little expensive with certain pre made foods but the food is good. Great weekly specials. They are very attentive to their customers. It’s a nice change for the neighborhood.

Gluten free Italian food, finally! We worked with Chef Qassis on an event which needed to be catered gluten free. He was professional, personable, and well-versed in gluten free protocol. I highly recommend Olive Tree Marketplace for delicious food(especially the eggplant parmigiana and chicken with artichokes) any time you’re craving Italian. I wrote an extensive review of my experience on my blog, Gluten Free Staten Island, which you can find at
