Dunkin’ Donuts

They can never get your order right. I think they just make whatever they feel like making and hope you’ll just take it and not complain. The language barrier is a major problem. How do you screw up medium coffee 3 sugars and cream? That’s one of the easiest orders you will get. You gotta get that one right!

Bought 2 dzn donuts at 6pm on 8÷9÷15 and paid for 1. They honored the ½ priced donuts after 4pm, that was awesome!

I asked for an iced tea and the woman puts 5 oz of simple syrup on ice and water. If there was no iced tea to serve, then they should’ve informed me when I ordered it. I couldn’t even drink it. I had to walk out. I didn’t even want my $ 2.05 back. It wasn’t worth it to argue. I paid to know never to even get a cup of coffee here. It’s the staff and attitude that’s the problem. I wouldn’t be surprised if they spit on customer’s orders.

DO COUNT YOUR CHANGE!!! I always get a small latte ($ 2.xx) in this Dunkin’ Donuts, and I ALWAYS get $ 5 short for the $ 20 bill that I give them ($ 12.xx change.) This didn’t happened once, but 4x! This is crazy. I am always in a hurry, and the only time i get to count my change is when I get back in my car. I think these cashiers can be really, really sneaky. BEWARE!
They would even sometimes talk in their native language, and laugh which is very uncomfortable for their customers.

I come here to get my coffee cuz it’s near my house and near the train station. It tastes alright. This is the only DD I know that offers almond milk. So I like that. But the service is horrible. They’re very slow and take their sweet time with orders. And just today, as I was standing in line, this lady cuts me and cashier takes her card and gives her her order. Really disappointed with the service here.

I had a very bad experienced on this Dunkin Donut Sunnyside store this morning when order my tuna sandwich. I waited for almost 30 minutes and end up getting a chicken sandwich. I told the lady that i ordered tuna sandwich but she told me that i ordered chicken which to my surprised it is indicated on the receipt. Meaning the lady who placed my order made a mistake sinced there so many customers on that time. I so i explained to them that my order is tuna. The Pakistani guy scremed at me and insisted that i ordered chicken. I told him he was not the one who took my order, and obviously he lied. He screamed again at me insisting he was the one who took my order. The woman who accepted my order didn’t say anything bec. she knows it s her fault and obviously don’t want in trouble. The woman who’s preparing the food nastily insisted that i was the one who made the mistake. No one apologized. I left the store and the Pakistani guy look at me like he ‘s gonna swallow me alive. I understand how staff of DDonut work very hard with minimum wage. It’s really tough and stressful when there are many customers. But customers deserve and should be treated nicely in any given circumstances. Dunkin Donut should carefully screen and train their staff to have good manners. I will never go back to that store again.

I go to this dunkin donuts almost every morning even thought I have one closer to my house in astoria but the people in that one SUCK! Anyway moving forward. This dunkin donuts is fast and the ladies in the morning are super nice and always have a smile on their face. I should tip them more often actually

I come in here every morning, I get my delicious coffee and the girls are beyond kind in the morning. However, I went in last night, wanted to buy two donuts which can up to about $ 1.75. I pulled out my credit card, but he said they don’t accept cards, THATS A LIE BECAUSE EVERY MORNING I PAY WITH MY CARD AND HE HAD A STACK OF CREDIT CARD RECEIPTS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Very rude, he gave me no choice, just cash, so I had to walk out with nothing): ONLY GO IN THE DAY

I’m only reviewing this Dunkin because of the service; it was oddly and surprisingly great. The donuts and coffee are what they are, but the day team here really needs to be commended for the smiles they give!

I like it because its near me and they usually have a good selection of everything. The lines here are usually long especially in the morning but it moves quickly. I’m not a big coffee drinker but I do come here for donuts or ice cream (Basking Robbins)

Donuts are good. Sandwiches are average. Coffee kinda sucks. I’d much rather go to a small bakery/​café for coffee.

I only like their sandwiches and hash browns. I was never a fan of their dounut’s or coffee. This place can be slow. So in a pinch I’ll get a sandwich with a soda.

I usually come here for my iced coffee fix. Lately, it has been packed since the weather is so warm. The staff is usually proficient with orders and I haven’t really had any problems. However, today, the cashier got my order wrong. I asked for a medium iced blueberry coffee. Instead, I got a small iced coffee. I usually let such things pass because I’m not a complainer or troublemaker, but I had paid extra for a larger size and syrup. Overall, it’s an okay place to get coffee, donuts, cookies, and the like.

Eh. Just eh.
Customer service is so-​so. Food/​ice cream is so-​so.

There are not many coffee options in Sunnyside– so when I’m not feeling the walk to LIC (or Aubergine), Dunkin Donuts serves up my weekend latte. The staff is super-​friendly and often starts my coffee order when I walk through the door– their coffee is respectable (nothing crazy, but solid). I’ve never eaten anything at this Dunkin Donuts… and I don’t think I’m going to start anytime soon, but for coffee– I will continue to stop by on Saturday mornings.

I’ve never been a big fan of DD, mainly because the donuts have failed to impress at nearly every location including this here in Sunnyside. Since I am not coffee drinker and the donuts here are mediocre, what am I doing here? I don’t know either.
Actually, I do. It’s Baskin Robbins and their hot weather chilling ice cream. With Latin bakeries all over the neighborhood, why give the this place the benefit of the doubt? The answer: ice cream cakes. Carvel, eat your heart out as the cakes priced here are considerably cheaper.
The staff, hard pressed to find an excuse for their crap donuts, has still remained incredibly nice. There isn’t a lot of seating room in here to enjoy anything, as it’s mainly a stop and go joint.
