i am not writing about the moving, packing or storage. i am writing about the employees themselves, that happen to stay at my hotel in Grand Junction, Colorado. these guys are a riot! at check in very professional and easy to work with. in snowy weather when you don’t know if you can get out. you socialize with guests. and these guys are amazingly funny and easy to talk with. they talk with pride about the company they work for and their fellow employees. i want the management of this company to know your guys did you right and they are awesome.

A huge thanks to the wonderful guys who moved my folks’ furniture! I was dreading having to get their items moved since it was a complicated drop off at three different places, but Paul Stratton and his team did an excellent job and everything was properly wrapped and transported. This was a sensitive move since I am closing up my elderly parents’ home and having the moving work done with such excellence by Stratton was a huge load off my shoulders!

Fantastic company! From the owner who gave a fair and honest estimate to the movers themselves, everyone was a genuinely ‘good’ person. The move was flawless and they delivered (no pun intended) their services with great efficiency and care. Frank and crew were conscientious and careful with our «STUFF» and had a wonderful can-​do attitude about them. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs!

Last August I started a new job in the Bay Area and we sold our Woodland Hills house in September. Stratton & Sons packed everything up and put it in storage while Karla and I lived in a little one-​bedroom apartment in San Rafael and looked for a home to buy. Eleven months later we are still looking but moved out of the apartment and into a condo big enough to hold all our things from SoCal. Stratton & Sons brought everything up and moved it all in, navigating four floors of stairs and a tiny elevator in the process. It took a day and a half, but they did it! We are very pleased and really appreciated the great customer service, ‘can do” attitude and friendly crew. We fed the guys, who both worked like dogs and did a terrific job. Thanks so much, Stratton & Sons! This move was tough on us, as we’ve never lived anywhere but Southern California. S&S made the transition much easier and we are very grateful. A++

We completed an extensive renovation of our condo that required us to empty the place, except for one room. We used Stratton for packing, loading, storing, and returning our goods. They also helped us move ourselves into that one room. The crews (both led by Brandon) did exceptional work. We had no breakage or damage at all to our belongings or to our home/​walls, etc. The movers were courteous and respectful throughout. One notable example: when packing up our office, one of the men found the spare electronic key fob for our car and brought it to me, suggesting that we keep it with us rather than packing it. As it turned out, our lease expired during renovation delays so having that key saved us having to pay for a lost key. I recommend them enthusiastically.

Truly professional guys that are a pleasure to work with. Moving can be stressful and overwhelming at times… but on each level of the move these guys made it a wonderful experience and got the job done. I have moved within the state with these guys and this time I actually moved across the ocean. Paul Stratton connected all the dots, kept me informed of all «the moving parts», and assisted with any and all issues that came forward. Everyone that works for this company is respectful, professional and more than willing to help. If you are moving, these are your guys!

Just completed my SECOND CORPORATE MOVE with these guys. Once again they delivered on every level!
They are on time and professional and show up ready to work. They were accommodating to all of our random requests even helped to move and remove items until we were happy with placement. Any time something comes up they are forthcoming and ask questions. You always feel like you are being treated well.
These guys work as a solid crew — you can tell they like their work and they take pride in it.

This was a great experience from beginning to end. These guys were professional and very nice and accommodating. It could have been a very uncomfortable and stressful day for me, having 6 guys rummaging through my house and belongings, but they were polite and accommodating and very respectful of me and my belongings and my pets. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is moving. You will be in good hands.

Stratton and Sons has been the most pleasant and professional company, from beginning to end. It began with who Vicky set up my appointment. Eric Stratton came out and bid it. So you know, I hired for a move, packing, pick-​up at another storage facility, a swap of loaned-​to-​me items and some unpacking. The bid was fantastic. It’s expensive, but I work full time and couldn’t do much myself. So… the packing crew showed up to pack; Colin and Eliott. They were clean, fast and very professional. They brought ample supplies and never made a fuss about anything. They knew what they were doing. Today is my move day, 4 guys arrived (Collin and Elliott, with Alex and Frank in tow) on time and are amazing. Nothing damaged. Nothing dropped. Nothing damaged in the house. They all had great senses of humor. They were fast. Neat. Professional. I’m stunned at how pain-​free this potential major life-​stressor has been. I was recommended to Stratton and Sons by a friend who is a professional organizer. After dealing with Stratton, in case you’re wondering — she’s still my friend. These guys were great! Professional, Dependable, and Affordable. All my stuff got where it was meant to go exactly on time, and was packed up safely with a great deal of respect. Every person on their crew seems to be hand-​picked for their professionalism and work ethic — one of the many advantages of being a family-​run business! The guys in charge were happy to work through different options.
Sure, you might find a cheaper, more corporate option out there, but those are places where people tend not to care as much about their job or their customers — when it comes to your most personal posessions, why take that risk?

We have never had such a great moving experience and we’ve moved five times in the last twelve years! The team of movers was smart and very experienced when it came time to delicately wrap art work and prized possessions. I would use them again in a heart beat!

Stratton & Sons moved my Mother-​in-​law from a single family home to a high rise condo. They packed up the entire home including some very expensive art work and did a fabulous job. The workers were polite, concerned and very professional. They helped to make the entire move run seamlessly. It was a pleasure to work with Stratton & Sons. I would highly recommend them.

Ok, I’m sold. My (new!) wife had her previous house moved and stored by Stratton and Sons. When we moved into our new home, they delivered the storage to our new home.

Professional, clean, hard working and terrific attitude. We had a challenging move (in the rain) and they never complained and went at great lengths to get my oversized furniture into a tight space. We recently moved our house of 14 years from Sherman Oaks to Hollywood and couldn’t be happier. The movers are extremely professional, hard-​working, fast (be prepared!) and even pulled out a hammer and asked if we would like them to fix a piece that had come apart from years before (I happily said yes.) Most impressive is how courteous all the movers were. At the end of the exhausting moving day, each one of them came to ask if we needed anything else and to say goodbye. Highly recommend Eric and his company, Stratton and Sons.

We had Adrian and David move the entire contents of our home to storage today. It was 100 degrees in Valencia and never did we hear a complaint. They were professional and courteous. They hustled and worked clearly and closely as a team. We were worried that everything might not fit into the storage unit that we had rented, but Adrian is a whiz at configuring the contents in relation to the available space. I would recommend this company to anyone that ever needs to make a move! The made an anticipated ugly day so much nicer than expected. Not to mention that the rates were much better than expected.

We just used Stratton & Sons to move from our home of 40 years to Bainbridge Island, WA from Porter Ranch, CA. Can’t say enough good things about this company and their employees! Our move was seamless, with us asking them to drop off furniture at our daughters in Beaverton, Ore and Ballard, Wa before they came on the island. The two movers were professional, eager to help, personable and fast. I heartily recommend this firm

I have extremely high expectations and standards. We were moving back in July of this year and we have a lot of valuable and one of a kind items that can never be replaced. I was nervous about the move plus we had to put our stuff in storage for who knows how long. I interviewed 7 moving companies.
My concern was reliability, caution, security, care and professionalism. I wasn’t necessarily looking for the cheapest moving company but definitely one where I got my monies worth.
I have to say that these guys were beyond professional, reliable, cautious and safe. What really impressed me was that their people have been with them a long time and have gone through a thorough interviewing process and background check so the owners knew exactly who these people were that were going to be in your home. That gave me peace.
They were so helpful, thoughtful and reeeealllly fast. My god, I couldn’t believe it. Fast and careful though. They don’t waste your time or money at all.
They carefully packed everything we own and clearly marked it and took it away to their storage facility.
We were staying at a temporary location so they helped us separate what was going there and what was going to storage. They brought the items we identified to our temporary location and set us up there.
During our stay in our temp location, we needed some items I wasn’t sure how they’d find. But they did and quickly delivered it to me. I felt so at ease with these guys.
Three months later we were ready to move to our permanent location. One truck came to our temp location and packed and loaded us up while the others trucks went to our permanent location. Everything was unloaded quickly and professionally without a scratch. I have no idea how they get those big pieces to get through doors and hallways but they did and totally unscathed.
I’m going on and on but I can’t help it. They are THAT good. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move. I would also highly recommend they pack you up too. They were so amazing and so fast.

I work in senior living, which is basically real estate, and have frequent need of moving companies. I only refer to two, and Stratton and Sons is number one on the list. They have never let my clients down, we find the prices reasonable, and they’ve come through for a quick move when it’s an urgent need. Plus, the ladies like to watch them! ;)

We paid $ 144 an hour for three guys, and it was worth every penny. They were honest, worked fast and efficiently, and were very helpful every step of the way.
