Do to all of my employees having children and extended families I believe it is in their, as well as my best interest to close the restaurant on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sorry for the inconvenience and wish that I could spend the day with you guys too but my children are the priority todays
History
Established in 2014.
Most people that come in to the restaurant ask, «Isn’t this that old German bakery?» And people come in daily looking for them still. Sadly the bakery is gone but in its place is our wonderful little restaurant. I started waitressing when I was fifteen at Jason’s restaurant in Puyallup. I’ve gone to college, waitressing or bar tending my way through, I got the «real job» and hated it! Waitressing is in my blood and I love meeting new people and as anyone will tell you I love to talk. When I was offered the opportunity to take over the restaurant I said NO! But the idea of a new boss, maybe a new job not in Sumner killed me. I love the community and the people I meet on a daily basis. I am learning everyday and striving to provide the best possible experience to all of my guests. Unfortunately I can not control everyone’s actions but I am working on teaching and training my employees. Everyday I am thankful for the decision I made here and can’t wait to see you soon.
Meet the Business Owner
Mignon S.
Business Owner
Hi, my name is Mignon. I went to Sumner high school, years ago, lol, and I hope that my six children will attend school there as well. My oldest is in his senior year right now and my youngest are twins who just turned four. I love my community and my guests and try to show it in everything that I do. I am appreciative to everyone who takes the time to try us out and can’t wait to see you too.
My managers name is Tammy, she is also a Sumner resident with three children. One of the two of us are almost always at the restaurant so if you are ever unhappy with your experience or overjoyed with it feel free to talk to us about it. It is both of our desire to give you the best possible experience that we can, with the steady upswing of business we are still trying to make sure we have enough employees on the floor at the proper time but I do make mistakes sometimes. We look forward to meeting new people as well as seeing all of our regulars, thank you.
