Kristi’s Country Store

This vintage shop is brim full of charm and discovery. The merchandise is displayed within a setting of salvaged windows, doors and architecture to create a unique place to be. There are both true vintage and newer retro things from fashions to furnishings here, along with bits and bobs just perfect for crafting and home dec. Don’t miss the outside shed with weathered pieces perfect for porches and gardens. I love this place, just wish they had a café annex so we could settle in with a late afternoon coffee. P. S. This isn’t a paint store, so disregard the complaints from others, clearly they don’t recognize a cute shop when they see one!

This store is great to look around. Lots of good stuff. I am basing my review of 2 stars off the fact that even though they carry a wide and well stocked array of Annie Sloan paint. Getting the information about the paint out of them is a bit like pulling teeth. The next issue I have is that it took me 40minutes to drive to the shop and the information pulling took 40 minute and I knew it would take 40 minutes to get home. With a toddler I knew we would need a potty break for us. But… No bathroom for paying customers. Instead you are invited to walk 2 block away and use a city free for all disgusting bathroom that have toilets that have not been flushed that DAY. When I spend close to $ 200 dollars I expect to use the bathroom AT the store. Yes, I get it people can mess, stink up and flush bad stuff down the plumbing, in the bathroom. I own a small business also, and it’s just the price of doing business! Get over it ladies.
Ended up going to McDonald, sad when they have better customer service.

I’ve been to Kristi’s twice. Both times, I enjoyed the store and its variety of merchandise, but was amazed that no one greeted us or approached us to explain the paints and waxes (they are an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint stockist) although we were obviously talking about it. Luckily, I am familiar with Annie Sloan products and could make recommendations to my companion. Having frequented three other ASCP stockists in other areas, I can say I was underwhelmed. Even when we purchased two cans of wax, we weren’t asked whether we knew the product, needed tips, etc. Kristi’s needs to step-​up their service.

Adorable, shabby chic furniture here. Lots of selection. Out of all the furniture stores on Main Street, this was my favorite in terms of the style and décor.
