Do not order from this company! This is a HALF bottle NOT a FULL Bottle. The image suggest a full bottle of Vueve @$ 24.95, which I thought was strange knowing how much Vueve costs. In the far right hand corner of the ad is 375ml, admittingly I had no idea was a half, I’ll take owner ship of that. Here’s the problem, when I looked at other online shops they clearly state HALF BOTTLE, unlike this company «budget bottle.» When I called Budget Bottel, «Sid» the person I spoke to said well that’s your problem and hung up the phone on me. I did not argue w/​him, I actually said I’m willing to take responsibility for the order and I gave the suggestion that his company should make it clear for consumers like myself that this is a half bottle, then click. Honestly, this felt a little like «bait and switch». Most people look at an image and take in information, I promise I read ad thoroughly, apparently not as thorough as I should’ve. What would help people like myself who have 20 things to do in one day, especially when planning a party which is why I ordered from your store, and now I have to go out and purchase more champagne… is if you supported your customers in shopping instead of making our lives just a bit harder. Maybe reccomend a customer service class for your employees too.

They do not speak English and are extremely rude! Online I ordered two $ 100 bottles of champagne and paid $ 50 to have 2-​day shipping. They sent a confirmation e-​mail that day saying that my order has been shipped and gave me a tracking number. Two days later they call me asking me for my full credit card number and billing address over the phone which I said I did not feel comfortable giving them, when I refused and told him I couldn’t verify that he was from that store he yelling at me. I asked for a manager and he was 5x as rude and said that there was a problem with my order but they will send it today. I asked them if they can send it overnight since I was expected to receive my order already and had paid $ 50 for expedited shipping. He said I would have to pay for it and it wasn’t his fault if I didn’t understand English.
NEVER BUY ONLINE, THEY LAG, THEY ARE RUDE, THEY TALK OVER YOU, THEY ARE INSULTING.

july 7^th they advertised a sale on cakebread wine. when i ordered it. they took my money but sent nothing. two weeks later after hearing nothing, I called and was informed they ran out of the sale item, but the 2012 was coming in two weeks and would honor the old sale price for this new vintage. naturally it never arrived, at any of the promised dates. I cancelled the visa and contacted cakebread to see if they even carry the wine. cakebread denies knowing them.

Never shop at this store. Price gouging customers on Bourbon that cost them a fraction of what they marked them up to is absolutely ridiculous. These prices only reinforces blackmarket prices. This is very shady way of conducting business.

They were okay. Sent me the wrong vintage (online order) but corrected the mistake by refund. They paid return shipping.

Are you kidding me with these bourbon prices??? $ 225 for a bottle of Old Weller Antique? That bottle cost $ 17 at wholesale!!! These guys are trying to profiteer off of something they clearly know nothing about. What a load of bull. George T Stagg for $ 1000??? That is $ 50 at wholesale!!! You could buy a bottle from a scam artist on Craigslist for ¹⁄₃ of that price. These guys have no idea what they are doing.

When you mark up bourbon, a local «American» product, to 300−1000% above retail, and all your competitors have as much if not more of said product available, you entice people such as myself to write a review commending your ignorance to American Spirits and product value. Angels Envy Rye for $ 200.99? I can get that for under $ 60 in Woodbridge. Old Weller Antique for $ 224.99? I can get that at ANY other liquor store for under $ 35 and most places under $ 30. The list goes on and on…
When this business closes down, the owner should be nominated for a Darwin Award.

Although they have a great selection, the bottles are not marked and I’m not convinced that the workers know all the prices because I was charged differently from what the shelf said. Also a woman (not particularly pleasant) was sitting on the counter and speaking to the young boys. I think she was the owner. The store is not the most organized and is pretty dusty. They are reasonably priced and they have wrapping available, although they won’t wrap it as some other establishments do. I only went here because I was in the area… I can think of better spots with friendlier service.

Do not buy online from these crooks. The will CHANGE THE VINTAGE even when you do not permit it. Then they ignore you. They must do this very often as they know how to work a credit card dispute. Their low price is negated by their treachery, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS

I was looking for a specific year of a pinot, clearly marking on the order it was not ok to ship a different vintage. Of course they shipped a different vintage… I order online all the time — this is the first time I have not been given a call or sent an email. When I called to complain — the guy took a very aggressive stance saying the other vintage is better. He clearly did not know there had been a change in vintners between years… however he did finally offer to take the wine back. He may have good things in the store but I wouldn’t buy online… not worth the hassle.

Beware!

Was looking for a liquor store open after 7 on a Sunday and this place said they were open from 12 — 8pm. Drove 4 miles to find them closed at 7:10pm. Thanks from staying open my wife and I were looking for a specifc liquor for a dessert we had planned.

I placed an order with this company. I ordered a gift for my boss. 1 month later, I’m like Where is the order?
They cancelled it.
But failed to notify me.
Why???
Apparently they left me a voicemail and an elf logged onto my work phone and deleted this voicemail.
No apology. No gift. I love Christmas shopping in December.

I love a certain type of Malbec from a certain year. Found it online for a great price — ordered a case and WALLAH! I could have had it shipped but decided to pick it up instead.
Can’t get any easier

I found this place last month while looking for a very expensive scotch… but wound up buying $ 400 in scotch and wine. GREAT stuff, GREAT prices and I will absolutely be back!

Saw a wine advertised for $ 19.99 on their website and drove there to purchase it, only to be told that the in-​store price is $ 28.99. They said if I ordered the wine online, they would honor the price. I have never heard of another wine store having such a policy. Don’t know if it’s legal but it’s definitely NOT consumer-​friendly and doesn’t pass the smell test.
