Mongolian Bar-B-Q-Golden Grill

I thought it was new owners but I thought wrong same place same food no verity no special requests greasy food so many better places in our little town and to top it off the server was rude lol

Best place in suisun/​Fairfield to get Mongolian bbq. 9.75 for lunch all you can eat! I couldn’t finish my first plate, so they said I can take it to go! Great service 5-​stars. Super nice and super fast!

Me and my roommate LOVE this place! I’ve never been so happy to go somewhere to eat until we came across this little restaurant. We are in love with Mongolian BBQ and when we found out that we live right down the street from here we got so excited! Every time we’ve gone here we always are treated so nicely and The fact that you can eat as much as you want makes my tummy happy! Haha
Julie is such a nice and warming waitress, I’ve realized that yes when you go to a restaurant it’s mostly about the food, but what also makes a difference is the service you get and me and my roommate have never left there unsatisfied. We’ve tried to go there once every week, and im happy to say that this is my favorite place to go!

This place has gone downhill since the new management has taken over. I have been going to this restaurant for many years since the 80’s, and I am sad to say I will no longer eat there. I have been there 4 times since the new management and each time it was bad service and bad food. The waitresses and the Lady that is the new Manager have no sense of good customer service! Tonight was the final straw that broke the camel’s back… My husband went in and ordered combo fried rice (which use to be the best fried rice around), and it was so dry and I almost broke a tooth on a piece of chicken bone! Not to mention the guy that was working was not pleasant with my husband at all. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Now we will have to find a new favorite Chinese spot to eat.

I hadn’t been to this spot in probably 4 – 5 years. I noticed they had a sign showing that they had new management, so I decided to come by for dinner today along with my girlfriend. We went with the BBQ part of the restaurant where you put the noodles and various meats and vegetables into your bowl and have them cook it on a giant wok. I will say the service here was fantastic! The waitress was really nice and was always stopping by our table to check on us and make sure we had refills of our drink. The cook didn’t say much, but I can assume there’s a bit of a language barrier (he did smile and seemed friendly). The place is a bit old, so it definitely has that hole in the wall feeling. The tables were clean and I found the food to be pretty tasty, although I wouldn’t mind checking out what they sell on their menu as well. Overall, a pleasant experience. The new management has definitely provided much better service than I remember. The food was good, but nothing super extraordinary. The service was really well done and I’m willing to come by again to see if I try something that really makes me want to keep coming back.

This restaurant has been around Suisun City since the mid 1980s when my family settled here, and where I grew up until graduating from high school in 1993. I’ve seen many restaurants and pizza parlors come and go, even the good ones, but this one has managed to stay in business for over the last 30 years. The food and the service is always great there. Now to be fair, I haven’t been to this place in about 3 – 4 years now, so it may have changed. But I have very fond memories of this place.

Omg. Filthy. Disgusting place thats so dirty im shocked that the health dept doesn’t close it.
The staff is incredibly rude. Espically the male waiter/​manager.
The most shocking observation was the sign in the men’s restroom that stated all paper products. Including toilet paper was to be placed in trash. Not toilet. The trash can in the restroom was overflowing with toilettime paper with fecal matter
We didn’t see that lovely caviot until after we tried the food.
When I told the waiter about the hazardous waste in the restroom. He said «you go now». «Bathroom clean»
We were absolutely shocked.
We also advised the female owner of the condition and the way we were treated. She just said ok. And did nothing. We left. Will never return

Me and the wife tried this place again last night for dinner since its under new management hoping that it would be a better experience than before. Well, the server were allot nicer but the food was terrible than before. The free soup was bland, the price were more expensive, and the sweet and sour sauce for the fried wonton was cold and looked like ketchup. Also the wife had the Mongolian BBQ and the cooked made it salty by putting there own mixed sauce on top of what my wife already had with it. Not good, wont be coming back here again.

The management is quite different from the previous mangement. The proportions are smaller and the prices are higher!
The noodles and rice were a tad bit dry but the taste was decent. The seperate the sauce on their fried items…
Let’s just say I’m still shopping for a good Chinese /​Asian restaraunt in my Fairfield/​Suisun
