The UPS Store

I don’t normally mail many packages but I know where to come if I ever need to from now on. The employees were so patient with me and guided me every step of the way. It was a bit busy and they multitasked to bring down the line but never rushed me. Previously I had gone to a UPS closer to home to ask questions and was received by a rude person, this caused me to take the 15 minute trip here and I’m glad I did. Bhavin was the associate who assisted me and went as far as giving a coupon booklet and I got to use a $ 2 off for first time customers.

2 guys working the counter and a kind of long line at 4:40pm But wait not bad…5 min maybe. Apparently they also do AT&T returns for cable boxes too. They’re nice guys it seems. Located right next to pei Wei. Cramped space.

All of my experiences at this location have been the same. I’ll give you an example. But suffice to say I am done with these guys. Too many strikes.
Walked in and I am the only customer. 3 employees sitting in the counter talking with each other. I stand there a while before they decide to help me. It was as if they had to figure out who drew the short straw. Anyway the man who helped me had an accent so incredibly thick that I swear I could not understand a single word he said. I am all for diversity and such but seriously? On top of that he was very rude and not knowledgeable. I had to tell HIM how to ship my package. He made no effort to help me. It will be a miracle if my package gets there. I would have gone to another location if I had the time. I will never use this location again.

This ups location is bs. Bunch of Indians who can’t speak English and don’t know what they doing. Don’t waste your time.

If you use your own shipper account, DO NOT use this location. They keep waybills for you to use for all types of shipping except for UPS Ground.
Per UPS Store corporate, policy indicates that stores do not have to keep waybills for third party shippers to use, but if they do, then they should keep them for all methods of shipment. If anyone wants to verify, UPS Store Corporate can be reached 800−789−4623.
So it’s not against corporate policy, but it is a highly unethical business practice and I cannot recommend the location.
The owner came up with some non-​sense story about fraudulent shipping from the area, but this was not corroborated by UPS Store corporate. They do not have different policy for different regions.
This has also been Unilocaled by others so it’s clear this type of shipping method discrimination is a policy implemented by the owners of this location.

BEWARE!!! DON’T GO THERE! DIRTY LOOKS! ATTITUDE! First time walking in, IT’S EMPTY and i needed to send a package and in between the dirty looks the little man said «this is going to take a long time to fill this out» WTF!!! He couldn’t find some info on his computer, acted like it was MY fault, «is the address right? it’s not in the computer ». Also didn’t have a working printer to send the package, called his help support and they said «leave the package and MAYBE it’ll get there, lets hope.» WTF!!! I left and went somewhere else will NEVER go there again. EVER. If I could give it zero I WOULD. Dirty looks can get you stuffed in a locker in High School, little man.

We had a great experience here getting documents notarized and shipped out. The notary was very helpful in making sure we didn’t miss anything important. The prices were good as well.

I always get great customer service here. I often ship packages within my company and am a frequent customer of theirs. The people are nice and always take care of me and my shipments.

I usually go to the one closer to my house, but this one is also in an area where I do my errands. Lots of parking that makes it easy to get in and out. I’ve never had a problem getting packages sent out from this location.

first time I have ever been charged for having my boxes taped and I drop off hundreds of packages a year. homemade signage, definitely not UPS Store standard practice.

Worst UPS store I’ve ever been to. Drive 5 minutes farther to another Sugar Land location and you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration.

I went to this UPS Store today to mail a package to the family. It was pretty busy, but it’s the holiday season so it’s no surprise there. I waited for less than 2 minutes before a lady called to me and asked if she could help. The registers were all being used at the time but she still took my info and got everything in order for when a register was free. It was my lucky day because a register was soon open and I was in and out of there. Another man even helped out to make things go speedily. The lady also gave me some coupons to use on my next visit. This is my second time using this particular store and I have to say that both times I’ve had good service and the people there were so sweet. There is parking in front of the store for UPS customers only so there’s another plus. If those are full it’s no biggie because there are plenty of other spaces available around there. I will use this location from now on.

Horrible service. The cashier constantly chatted with his buddy and then asked me to repeat myself. Also, came up with some lame reason why they could not do ground shipping in an effort to force us to pay for upgraded shipping. Do not go there.

Another UPS store. This one has lots of parking and next to Pei Wei. So if you are hungry, pop next door! It’s right near hwy 6 and 59, so easy access is a huge plus!

What don’t I like about this location? They have several people who work here, but they choose to have the person with the thickest accent to answer the phone. I had some questions so I called. I asked what time they close and the nice man answered my question 3 times (because I had to ask over and over) and never could figure out what he said. I just chanced it and went after 5pm. Thank goodness they were open. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. They need to pick the right people to answer the phone.
Also, once I brought in some china and asked them to wrap it and package it for overseas mailing. I watched the man wrap up the china, put it in a box, and then put his FULL weight on the items as he crushed the CHINA into a box. I had to stop him and take the box and china away.
So, even with these problems, why do I give them 3 stars? Convenience. It’s a quick easy place to drop off package that you have to use UPS. I always go to the post office if I can because it is cheaper.
Don’t mail things via USPS at the UPS store because the mark up horrendous.
