We are a full service General Contractor specializing in the restoration of insured losses from water or fire damage. We perform emergency drying services for flooded homes and businesses. We, also, perform the necessary repairs to return these properties to a pristine condition. We have a licensed Texas insurance adjuster on staff and the very latest in estimating software to make sure our customers are receiving full compensation for the losses their properties have suffered.

Previously having been a custom home builder, MACRO also offers remodeling of baths and kitchens, siding replacement, interior and exterior painting and roof replacements. For businesses we do build outs. This includes flooring, suspended ceilings, drywall, electrical and HVAC services.

MACRO is an A+ member of the Better Business Bureau and a winner of distinction for the Award of Excellence for the past 4 years. This puts us in the top 2−3% of Houston area contractors.

History

Established in 1986.

MIchael McCroskey was a custom home builder in the 80’s when the oil industry went into a steep slide causing economic chaos in Texas. he responded to a mail solicitation for a First General Services territory in Fort Bend County and was taught the ins and outs of the insurance repair industry.

Completing his last custom home in 1993, we have specialized in rebuilding fire damaged homes and drying and repairing flooded houses ever since. We consider our service market to be the west and southwest sides of Houston and surrounding counties. We receive the bulk of our business from referrals from our many satisfied customers, but always welcome new business relationships.

Business Owner

Michael McCroskey, a native Texan, worked first in production home building and then custom home building until moving to the remodeling and insurance repair field in the late 80’s. He is married to his wonderful wife Cindy for over 20 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Kate and Meghan. He and his family are regular church goers and do their best to give back to the community through service. A member of both the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and the Central Fort Bend Chamber we attend events and support other businesses and service organizations in the area.
