Thank God for Unilocal! Sunday afternoon while driving home from a pleasant afternoon outing with my family I changed lanes and all of sudden I heard this BIG thwack! Immediately realizing that a large pebble hit my windshield, I hoped that I might have avoided a rock chip but unfortunately that was NOT the case…
Looking at my windshield I noticed right in my line of sight a distinct rock chip about the size of a dime! Feeling irritated I knew that I had to get it repaired asap because in the past when I ignored a chip that I did not know existed under my inspection sticker, I ended up with a stress crack than ran all the way through the bottom of my windshield after a particularly cold and rainy day! That was an expensive fix! I had to replace my whole windshield!
Not knowing who to call I did a quick search on Unilocal for Rock Chip repair in Sugar Land and Ace Chip popped up! After taking some time to read some of the reviews on Unilocal I was impressed with the fact that all the reviews I read were 5 star! I’ve never seen that on Unilocal!
Needless to say I was sold and promptly called and left a message.
Within an hour my call was returned by Scott’s wife I later found out who was very pleasant and informative on the phone! We set our appointment for later that afternoon with Scott and I even received a courtesy call 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way!
Well everything I read here was pretty much spot on! Scott was a really nice guy who took the time to educate me about what he was going to be doing as far as repairing the chip and also explaining to me in great detail about the process! Not only that but assuring me that the work was guaranteed and that the point where the repair was done was going to be much stronger!
After looking at it after he repaired it I can hardly tell there was a chip at all!
To say I was impressed would be an understatement!
If looking for a reputable and trustworthy company to do a quality rock chip repair look no further. These guys are the BEST!

We live in Houston, a city with the largest amount of concrete laid in the entire country. You WILL have a windshield chip if you drive in Houston. I recommend these guys. They have a great price, great customer service, and great results.
I called them to make an appointment. They came to my office parking garage and fixed it while I worked. I didn’t even have to drive anywhere! I definitely recommend them. Just be sure to fix your windshield before the cracks spread.

I had a rock chip on my windshield. I called and talked it through with the wife who provided the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. She was very patient and thorough in answering my questions on how to file with insurance and how windshield repair works.
They do mobile repair, so they come to your home/​office. All the tools’ power are wired to their car, so no need to provide plug outlets. Do park your car in the garage so no further damage can happen to your car’s windshield.
They were running ahead of schedule, and the wife called to ask if it was okay to arrive ahead of schedule. Scott arrived soon after. He was great in explaining the process. There were small actions that spoke to the detail and care he puts into his work like cleaning the entire windshield at the end.
They do charge higher prices than other competitors, but they stand by a lifetime warranty on the chip and offer a phenomenal end-​to-​end experience.

Great service. Came to my house. Right on time. Fixed two cracks and done. Charge was $ 69 for first chip and $ 10 for the 2nd one. The guy was super friendly and professional and his wife was also. Would use again and recommend to anyone that has had a rock thrown up into their windshield.

They were timely, competent and very professional. They quickly got my needs addressed, scheduled my appointment and called to notify me of arrival to fix my chip. Scott explained exactly what he was doing and how he would fix the problem. He also found a second chip and fixed it at the same time. The customer service was excellent! Thank you, Scott, for giving my windshield 5-​star treatment! I had a rock chip that quickly blossomed into a honkin’ 9-​inch crack. Scott came to the rescue. He’s nice and also super informative. He was running ahead of schedule, so after his wife (who mans the phones) called to confirm that it was OK to come early, he showed up pretty quickly. In less than an hour, my windshield was in much better shape. The cost was only $ 89, which I think is a very fair price to pay for preserving my car’s original windshield.
If you have a chip or crack in your windshield, park your car in a garage ASAP and give these guys a call. They are pretty popular, so they may not be available the same day that you call.

I had two rock chips and a crack that originated from a rock hitting me while driving on 59-​south.
I called Ace and was able to book an appointment the next day of when I called them.
Scott was very punctual, within my given time window. I was informed when he was getting to my office, which gave me time to go down the elevator and out into the parking garage.
Scott was very nice and informative. He explained all the technicalities of the procedure before he started.
Once he was finished they gave me a call and I came out to no rock chips and a hardly visible crack! He explained what he did in detail and gave me tips on what not to do in case I ever get another crack (no use of chemicals or water repellents)
Will be recommending their service and using them if I ever have this kind of issue again!

After all of the fantastic reviews, I called Ace to repair my windshield and was so impressed with the customer service and the finished job. Danette was friendly and helpful when she scheduled the appointment, and explained the work that would be done and the costs up front. Scott came to my home, arrived on time and thoroughly explained how he would repair the chips and the crack. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable, and it’s obvious that he cares about his work and his customers. The windshield looked great when he was done!

While driving down I-​10, my front windshield got hit by a rock. After a week of Houston weather, the crack had spread to 2 feet long.
I called and scheduled Ace to come out to our house and perform the repair. The scheduler was very polite and cheerful.
Scott arrived, explained the work being performed, went over the costs, then immediately got to work. After the repair was performed, he gave several tips and tricks concerning windshield repair and replacement.

I highly recommend Ace Chip ‘N” Crack. Scott is terrific. It is rare these days to find a company that does high quality work and has great customer service. Scott is honest and very knowledgeable about windshield repairs. He came out to our house to fix a windshield crack in my wife’s car. The rock had caused damaged to the inside and outside of the windshield. After Scott completed the work you could barely notice the windshield cracks which were quite large. just got service on my infiniti today.
called 2 days ago and spoke to danette whom was super informative and clear.
they are a mobile service, so you call in, they get your address (work, home, etc.) and drive out to you. they give you a quote over phone based on description.
scott showed up today in the time slot alotted and danette called prior to his arrival to let me know he was 15 min away. scott took the time to explain window shield repair (cracks) vs replacement, how most people make profit on selling you window replacements usually instead of the repair but that insurance companies know factory sealed window shields when repaired are much better than getting them replaced after the car has left the factory due to the strong bonding of the seal, how different types of glass work, etc. he was just a informative as danette who i find out is his wife and seems to be very passionate about his work. think he said they’ve been doing his for 25 yrs now and take pride in the repair business.
i had a 2 chips, 1 with some spider legs coming out which i couldn’t see but scott showed them to me. the other chip recently spread over 26 in the last 2 mo from fluctuations in weather along the bottom of my front window shield. he measured it, told me what he would do along the way, gave me an updated quote (didn’t differ from danette) and went about his business. took him about an hr to repair while i worked about the house.
i paid with credit card and it was a done deal. the window shield looks awesome. you can hardly tell it’s there. they have some guarantees they will inform you on should need more repair in future.
TOTALLY RECOMMEND. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T GET IT REPLACED, CALL THESE GUYS IMMEDIATELY AND DON’T LET TIME PASS WHERE MORE RESIDUE WILL GET INTO YOUR CRACKS ESP IF YOU STILL HAVE YOUR ORIG WINDOW FROM FACTORY WHEN YOU FIRST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. It will save you money and possibly your life!

Scott is great. My wife can’t say enough good things about him. His knowledge and expertise about windshield damage is beyond anyone that she has known. He explained every little details to her and what he is going to do and what we will expect. The best part is that the price was amazing, his price is the best out of 3 places i called.
In addition, he knows his technology, if you use a credit card he will charge it with Square and if you happen to give them your cell number, you will get a text about the charge. Great stuff.

A huge rock cracked my windshield but I knew I really did not want to have to replace it, so glad I found Ace Chip N Crack! It was super easy to set up. You call to schedule a time and Scott handles it all from there.
My appointment was around 2:30 at my house, Scott showed up on time, worked in my garage on my windshield and it looks SO much better now!
Scott is very professional, lets you know the cost upfront and informs you about how he is going to take care of the chip or crack you have. He even filled a small chip I had without me asking.

Scott came out to my home to repair a rock chip on our SUV’s windshield. He was prompt, efficient, and so nice! I can’t even tell where the rock chip was. Lifetime guarantee on the rock chip repair.
You do have to make an appointment since they come to your home or office to do the repair.
