First of all, the décor in the place is amazing! Very cute and a bit dark. They offer 6 – 10? flavors at a time. unfortunately I find the flavor I want has run out or the machine is not working every time I go there. There are around 3 bowl sizes you can choose from. I wish they had a smaller size than their smallest bowl. They sometimes offer free sample cups, I think it is limited to 1 or 2 samples per visit and no sampling unless you are purchasing. The frozen yogurt itself tastes pretty good, a lot like ice cream. My favorite is watermelon and red velvet cake. They hold strong flavors. Their topping bar is pretty impressive! The dry toppings include a variety of cereals, nut mixes, m&ms, and other candles. The other ones include kiwi chunks, fruit chunks, nuts, glazes, and whipped cream. There is hot fudge at the pay desk. The staff does not talk much at all… I’m sure they are nice people but they have never said hi or really smiled. I am on the fence but don’t let it bother me because of cultural differences. Be expected to spend around 4 – 6 dollars per smallest bowl of frozen yogurt with average toppings. There is a complaint of their facebook page. in store it says to LIKE them for special deals, coupons, and offers. but for the past year(almost two) there have been no deals posted. It’s a bit misleading. They post the flavors on facebook a few times a week, but not everyday. I only like to visit when I know either watermelon or red velvet cake will be available so it’s a bit of an inconvenience they don’t post everyday or at least have set days for set flavors.

I love that I can get frozen yogurt and pile on the toppings to my hearts desire here in Suffolk. I’m the type of person that rarely deviates from something I love i.e. vanilla yogurt, but I have been known to venture off into the realm of the unknown. The topping selection at Kiwi Yo is ample. They have canisters of dry toppings along the wall(like cereal, carob chips, sprinkles etc) and then the candy and fruity types on the«topping island». Personally not a big fan of tart yogurt, because well, it’s…tart, but the vanilla is always on point. I’ve tried the red velvet and cheesecake, and they are good, but certainly doesn’t come close to beating my vanilla with fresh strawberries and a couple clumps of Reese’s peanut butter cup OR heath bar(never at the same time). The prices are reasonable, especially if you have a kid like mine who is heavy handed when it comes to adding his own toppings.

Great service, wish they had tart yogurt though. Will visit again however.

This would be a 5 star review if they had original tart yogurt! But all they have is yogurt that is supposed to taste like ice cream. The location is perfect for us here in Suffolk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Please get original tart yogurt like Pink Berry or Yo Mama and I will update this review to 5 stars!

Disappointed! I thought the whole point of the yogurt bar fad was healthy tart fro yo! We were so excited to see this place open close to our home until we have been multiple times and just walk out because they still don’t carry tart. We drive to yo mama at least once a week in Va Beach to get our true fro-yo!

Checked in here with my daughter and all I can say was wow. Self serve yogurt in flavors like strawberry, banana, mango, coconut, chocolate chip, cheesecake, etc. Lots of fresh toppings such as coconut, mango, kiwi, honeydew, cantaloupe and of course the obligatory sprinkles, chocolate chip and even some froot loops. I had the coconut mango swirl with fresh kiwi, mango, cantaloupe, whipped cream and sprinkles. First bite was awesome. Last bite left me wanting more, but I will hold back since I need an excuse to come back and try the other flavors. Décor was modern and industrial. I am really hoping they stick around because I just developed a new addiction and it just happens to be down the street in North Suffolk.

As someone who used to live in Arizona I have been missing the pay per ounce froyo bar type store. Kiwi Yo is 38 cents per ounce, which includes toppings. I went to Kiwi Yo this afternoon and it was very good. I had the cheesecake flavor froyo with gummi bears as a topping. There are tons of topping choices, including cereals which I always do at home, so it’s smart that they give that as an option. I liked the flavor choices but hope they rotate occasionally. The owners were extremely nice and made sure I knew how the store worked. The store was very clean too. I will definitely be going back!

FINALLY, a fro yo bar in Suffolk. My husband and I checked it out on opening night and the owners were great; very hospitable and helpful. Although they do not have my beloved tart(yet), they do have a wide array of other fun flavors: strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, mango, Lichee, Coconut, Cheesecake, Chocolate, etc. Their toppings are fresh fruit, cereals, and a bunch of other random candy bars. They also have a competitive rate(38 cents/oz) so I think Kiwi Yo will be a wonderful addition to the ever-growing area of northern Suffolk!
