Specialties
We specialize in helping students reach their full potential in math, reading and writing. Many of our children work well beyond grade-level, mastering their studies through daily work AND the assistance of highly trained, accredited and available teachers. Come find out what a difference it makes to have self-mastery, working with someone who cares. Our SAT, ISEE & SSAT prep students have made astounding progress, once again this year — because they work hard, and because we work to find the BEST strategies and methodology for them to succeed. Come find out what academic success feels like!
History
Established in 1990.
We have been over twenty years in Weston, Wayland, and now in Sudbury. Originally we used a franchised program of Japanese math and reading techniques, but we wanted to better tailor our program to meet student’s needs in Metrowest schools. Our English language based programs, particularly in writing, have been very successful with students, and in math our students typically work 1 – 2 years beyond grade level — or more! This is the best of both worlds — day to day practice to achieve mastery — but excellent individualized attention at the centers to learn new concepts, as well as true individualization of study plans.
Meet the Business Owner
Deborah D.
Business Owner
Deborah has been teaching Metrowest students in after-school learning programs for over 20 years. A Boston College alum, she first started tutoring while getting her Masters. She has accreditations in teaching, reading, writing and math, as well as continuing her own learning in all things educational. When her then-first grade daughter (now getting her Masters at Columbia), came to her more than 20 years ago and said «Mom, you think I’m smart — but I’m not», Deb knew it was time to act. She starting working, based on her own tutoring background added in knowledge of Japanese math techniques, including certification as a lead teacher for Kumon. She has developed her own program for perfecting standardized tests, and the proprietary curriculum Deb created with her staff, for elementary through high school students, is now utilized by upwards of 1500 students per day, both in Massachusetts and throughout the US. Her favorite subjects are writing and algebraic concepts.
