Recently remodeled with fresh paint and texture over spray still on the bathroom doorframe. Overall it was a very good stay for the price with a clean room and a decent breakfast. There was no noise at night, but if there were loud neighbors I think we would have heard them. My husband was grossed out and first thing he did when he got in the room was clean the toilet of an abundance of pubic hairs (thankfully I never saw them). Our stay was not special in any way, good or bad, and I would definitely stop again if we were in the area and needed a cheap room for the night.

If your looking for a typical choice hotel (Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, and so on) which is usually a top notch choice, this isn’t the place! The rooms were gaudy and outdated, although they did have a flat screen TV. I can say it was clean and the bed was OK if you need a place to stay. Seemed very busy/​noisy with truckers and a lot of travelers. If your looking for the usual hearty breakfast you get at a Choice hotel this isn’t the one to stay at. The hostess (later we found out the owners/​foreigners Mom) wasn’t keeping up with the stocking or cleaning. The breakfast room was super small with only 4 tables. Most guests were sitting pool side, or skipping the wait, and just grabbing coffee or a roll. We endured the wait in the lobby till we got a free table. Then had to wait on the waffle machine, also waited on the syrup to be re-​stocked. Once it did arrive the hostess did not have the lid screwed on tight, so when I grabbed the handle and lifted the glass jar that screwed to the handle, it fell to the floor and splattered me with syrup. Needless to say I had to take a another shower and thank God I had one change of clothes left. Upon checkout the young girl at the counter did apologize (Cassy I believe her name was) for the inadequacy of the hostess. If your looking for a place to stay and a good price OK, but if your looking for the extra’s and a modern updated room, a good hearty breakfast in the morning, then this isn’t the place to stay-​look elsewhere!
