I was visiting the Sturtevant/Racine area for work. When I arrived to the hotel, I was greeted by Joe at the front desk. Throughout my entire 3 day stay, he was so friendly and helpful. I was having cell phone issues, so he forwarded many of my calls to the room I was staying in. He set my wake up calls each morning and was available for any questions that I had about navigating throughout the local area. My favorite thing about his customer service was that he had awesome recommendations of the best local restaurants! Two of his recommendations were Krung Thai and Durango’s Pizza in Racine, WI. I had a chance to make it to Krung Thai, but am saving Durango’s Pizza for my next trip to Racine. I will request this hotel for future stays. Thank you Joe for everything you did to make my stay wonderful; it was greatly appreciated and your great service does not go unnoticed! Keep up the great work!

We were in the Racine area for a funeral, so we didn’t have a lot of time or advance notice to vet our hotel. We stayed at another hotel for the first 2 nights, but they were sold out for our last night. We found this hotel and booked it. Worst mistake ever. There was some sort of kids sports event going on, so there were quite a few kids staying at the hotel that were right around 10 years old. We asked to be moved away from the group for obvious reasons. We were emotionally and physically drained and were really hoping for a decent nights sleep. Instead, we were up all night with kids running up and down the hall, people yelling, babies crying, etc. The walls are paper thin, so that didn’t help matters either. The hotel staff did absolutely nothing about the excessive noise all night long. To top that off, the beds are hard and cheap as well. We were so insanely exhausted the next day. I will never, ever stay at a Holiday Inn Express ever again. Horrrrrible experience.

Clean property, friendly staff. Oh, the pillows were tremendously comfortable. Someone must have sprinkled magic in them… or I was really tired from traveling :-) Microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in room. Nothing spectacular, but very nice and clean – everything. Complimentary breakfast — cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, cold cereal, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, toast, biscuits & gravy, eggs, turkey sausage. My only complaint about breakfast is that they ran out of decaf coffee, but heck many of the hotels I stay in don’t even pretend to carry decaf. Welcomed and thanked for being an IHG member. Convenient to the coast of Lake Michigan. Easy on and off freeway. A few places to eat within walking distance. Looks to be a great farm market right around the corner(going to check it out!) This is an older property, but it is kept relatively nice. Pool and hot tub. Very, very small fitness center.

Stayed for one night. Room was nicely furnished with all your basic necessities — including a nice sized fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Thin walls though — I was awoken by a group of people who must have just returned from a night of boozin’. Breakfast is on the house — seemed pretty good — I was looking forward to their yummy cinnamon rolls, but we had to get out of there pretty early for a half-marathon. Location is literally right off the highway — which is good. And about 8 – 10 minutes from downtown Racine. For our purposes, this hotel worked out just fine. I would return if I had to come back to the area.

Clean, nice staff and the pool was great. The beds and pillows were comfy. The free breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was free. They had hard boiled eggs to hot scrambled eggs. They had Cinnamon rolls, oat meal, cereal, fruit, yogurts and more. We don’t stay at hotels a lot unless we really need to. This is one place we wouldn’t mind going back to. This place makes me ok with staying at Holiday Inn Express again. This hotel was a decent price for a hotel with a pool.

Pretty basic HI Express– Not the most up-to-date, but it will do in a pinch. Friendly front desk staff!

Nice property off 94. We are fans of the comfy beds, flat screen tv, very large fridge, microwave, plenty of drawers, plenty of outlets! Not as impressed with older décor & could never get online during our stay. Very nice staff. Plenty of parking.
