Tom Fox Photos

If you are looking for a pet photographer, Tom is the absolute BEST! I had him take pictures of my Pugs in 2011. I love the photos so much, I asked Tom to do another photo shoot of my current dogs (Pugs, a Frenchie, and a Maltese) this Fall.
Tom is incredibly patient and has an amazing ability to get *that perfect shot*
I will absolutely hire Tom again — perhaps for another fun doggie photoshoot, but I’d also absolutely hire him to do an event, wedding, etc. He is professional, friendly, and just plain talented!

I worked with Tom recently on some actor headshots. Tom was not only pleasant, friendly and accommodating, but he was extremely professional as well. I actually had just gotten two previous photo shoots done for headshots, but still hadn’t quite found «The One.» That is, until I worked with Tom! He was so great at giving direction for each shot, that we were able to get a variety of looks, while never truly straying from the whole essence of what an actor headshot should be. This guy is gifted, and truly knows what he’s doing.
Needless to say I was really pleased with the outcome, and will use Tom’s photo as my new Actor headshot.

I first met Tom when I signed up for Halloween photos of my puppy in 2009. Who knew that a silly spur-​of-​the-​moment holiday lark would result in meeting someone of Tom’s caliber.
Those first photos were SO spectacular that I had her «official» photos taken by Tom, and now that we have another dog who needs «official» photos, I hired Tom to take those as well (and to get shots of our whole motley crew at the same time).
The photographs are spectacular. I know I said that before but, really, there’s no other word for them. Sitting through the photo shoot (a.k.a. slightly controlled chaos) I was wondering what he would be able to salvage — I can’t say the girls were on their best behaviour that day. But the antics never upset him, his artist’s eye kept seeing possibilities in the situation, and his love of photography and dogs really showed through during the whole experience.
Tom even managed a nearly impossible feat, he got a wonderful shot of all the dogs, myself and my husband. Actually, he got several shots of all of us.
I recommend his work without reservations and welcome anyone who wants to contact me about my experiences with Tom. From my observations and the results I’ve seen, he is as talented photographing humans as he is capturing the essence of his four legged clients.

I recently adopted a dog and wanted to have photos taken of him. I liked the photos I saw on Tom’s website, I could tell that he had a good eye to capture great candids and great memories. I couldn’t be happier with his work and work ethics. A true professional. Fantastic photos of my dog. Tom you are the BEST ! You have taken pictures of my precious Lilyrae for the past 2 ½ years. She has grown in front of the camera. You truly have a gift and Lilyrae loves you. Every picture you have taken has brought me laughter or tears of joy. I can’t wait to see what your going to do with my Lilyrae for Holloween and Christmas. We both love you Tom…

i can’t say enough about tom. hey, he even made me look good in the pictures we took with my girl, sally. the only thing more precious to me than my dogs are the pictures I will have forever of Sancho and Sally. Tom manages to capture their spirits, which can only come a rare combination of talent and true canine love. hey, if i could work a camera i’d do it myself, but i can’t so thank you Tom!

Getting my first dog was a big deal; and I wanted to show him off to the world. What better way than creating his own portfolio. Tom took some amazing pictures of Buckwheat. They were so good, that I couldn’t decide on just one, two or even three pictures. I fell in love with over 11 of my beautiful chocolate lab. Tom created a really cool collage showcasing the many faces/​moods of Mr. Wheat. I had it immediately framed and hung in my living room. For Halloween, my little prince dressed as one and Tom captured his sweet temperament perfectly. I again used Tom to capture Buckwheat’s first birthday. Black and white, color Tom does it all and well.

A true professional with an eye that captures the perfect «slice of life» shots, Tom is a top rate photographer! He shot our wedding this past October and I couldn’t be happier with the album. The photos encapsulate every raw emotion of joy and celebration from that day and could rival those in bridal magazines. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for photographer in the greater Los Angeles area.
