Our new favorite sushi delivery! Quality is great and prices are reasonable. I recommend selecting the fresh blue crab for all options where possible(california roll, etc.) — it’s fabulous. Also, stopped in for lunch and it was equally as great. So glad to have found!

So close to my work so usually after work, I come here to grab a quick bite! I am vegetarian so my options are pretty limited here which is the only down fall but i get the garlic edamame and the vegetable tempura roll without their eel sauce. The sushi is pretty good! I would say the rolls are pretty big and filling as well. If you are in need of a sushi spot in the valley to go to, it’s definitely worth the check out. Also one time I went, I ran into Christina Milan. Pretty cool little sushi spot!

For whatever reason, everything tasted very salty, esp. the tempura sauce. Here ‘s a thing, I’ve been to soooo many Japanese restaurants and there’s always one common thing I order. That is shrimp & veggie tempura as appetizer. If the tempura is hard, that tips me off. Shrimp & veggie tempura should not be so hard, esp the shrimp. I will come back, I hope they read this coz they can change their sauce, use quality tempura ingredients and this sushi house is perfect! Very affordable, clean, with parking, bery friendly staff and they deliver too! Dear Mgt, please make your tempura crispy soft and not hard please? I will love you forever coz you guys are open from morning to evening unlike the rest of my fave Japanese restaurants in the area

Was craving sushi for lunch so did a quick Unilocal. This place is up the street from my boyfriend’s house. We have driven by it every day and never thought to try it. You could never tell how good it is by driving by it in it’s strip mall location but when you enter it’s clean with a nice open atmosphere. We sat at the sushi bar. We had lunch specials with 5 pieces of sushi, your choice, and then a choice of several menu items. My boyfriend for the tuna salad and I got the albacore special roll and we shared them. Both equally amazing in presentation and taste. We were both very full and the bill was very cheap for sushi. I left my credit card and they put it away in the safe and my boyfriend picked it up and enjoyed another tuna salad… lol. Love this place and so glad it’s so close and reasonable.

Great spot and relatively cheap. Sushi was fresh and came out quickly. Waitress was on top of our order. The rolls I got were $ 7.95 and $ 11. Specialty rolls are $ 13. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was delish. 7 pieces for $ 7.95 is a great deal. The rice was crunchy and not drenched in oil like some places I’ve been. Overall looking forward to eating here again. –1 for parking situation

So disappointed. I love their food. There is one young server who was really bad the first time. Inattentive. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that day. Then I came back and she served me again. There was just one other table in the restaurant and she acted like she was sooo busy. I waited to order another sushi roll, waited forever for the bill. Im so annoyed because I really like the food here.

A hidden gem! This sushi restaurant is located in a very crowded plaza, which I have driven by several times and never even noticed! My sister and I had dinner here yesterday. Some Pro/Cons listed below! Pros: –There was no wait. Interestingly enough, towards the end of our dinner, we noticed about 4 different parties outside waiting. Our timing was great –Service. Unlike the other Unilocalers Review, I have to say the service was great. We got our drinks and rolls on time. Cons: –Some of the sushi rolls lacked flavor, not all. For a few of the rolls the fish didn’t even taste like fish, but with sauce and etc it was fine. –The garlic edamame had way too much garlic. The garlic was overwhelming.

I’ve been coming to The Sushi House since the walls were stark white and they didn’t have a liquor license. I love this restaurant. It gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, but what else would you expect with quality sushi and good prices? The service is always still very quick, even when it’s at its busiest. This is my go-to sushi spot in the valley. My favorite roll is the spicy California roll, or the rainbow roll. The fish is always great quality! The Sushi House never disappoints. If you’re looking for a great new place to try, definitely give The Sushi House a shot!

Miso soup cup was dirty. Service was inattentive and unfriendly– I had to wait 30 mins to get food. Saw my sushi chef cough without covering his mouth right in the direction of my food. Fish was flavorless and rubbery. I was served poorly prepared and falling apart rolls. The ambience was frenetic and the waiters and chefs have a terrible chaotic rapport. The prices are cheap but you get what you pay for I guess. This place’s high rating baffles me(maybe fraudulent?) This place deserves a 3 tops. Based on the demographics here, this place is great for some cheap college kids who couldn’t tell the difference between octopus and salmon but love tempura flakes and spicy mayo!

Yikes pretty bad service. The value is a 4 but the service is barely a 2 star at lunch time. You can get a good amount of food on lunch special for about $ 13. Just don’t expect any wasabi/ginger, drink refills or to see a server again for a good 30 minutes. And it was like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for things. Guess you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately I had to knock off two stars because their service is always lacking. Both times I have been here, they have had trouble seating me/I’ve gotten some attitude from the staff when I request a table instead of being seated at the bar. Other than that, the sushi here is amazing. Really. Fresh fish and prices are great. I recommend the Treasure Island(it’s lemony) and the Ventura Roll. Their Sushi WILLNOT disappoint.

Not the best sushi place I have been to, but it’s a really good one to try. I ordered the BSC, Crazy Boy, Eel and Avocado, Spicy Scallop, Spicy Tuna and they were really delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the taste was good, and definitely presentable. The BSC is a must! Scallops on top of a California Roll?! Amazing. The Crazy Boy was deep fried and had some siracha sauce on it, great if you want a little spice in your sushi. The spicy scallop, spicy tuna and eel and avocado were basic rolls, so if you’ve had them once you’ve had them all. Aside from the food, the service was great! Come just before the dinner rush to avoid waiting for a table. The big plus also, there’s plenty of parking in the plaza!

Been driving by this place a lot lately and never stopped by cause I wasent really expecting much out of it. But I was peasantry surprised when I decided to actually make it there today. Lots of parking so that’s always great for me and especially if it free not meter parking:) Lunch specials were amazing !!! I couldn’t believe the price and that it actually matched the quality of the food. So I am glad that I took a chance at this place and if ur looking for something good and clean in ur neighborhood that’s good for lunch this would be a nice place to go to. Service was exceptionally great as well. Music was also popping.

This fantastic sushi place is a gem in the SFV! First of all, free parking is always a plus! If you can’t find parking in the lot, you can also find plenty of street parking nearby. There is an expansive menu of rolls that are discounted. Thankfully, they’re not just rolls with increased prices that are discounted, they actually are cheaper than your usual sushi place. The lunch specials also allow you to try one of their specialty rolls for a slight discount, but I do wish they gave more than just a roll and 5 pieces of sushi. The sushi pieces were pretty fresh though, although the rice was just okay.

Service was nice, sushi was good, not better or worst than most places around there. We really liked the french fries with spicy tuna such an interesting(and filling) concept. Miso soup was great, got the 10 piece of sushi with the California roll and the baked scallops on a roll. We usually don’t do lots of rolls but they didn’t have UNI so we opted for the roll. Overall was good, if I am in the area I will go back.

Like Kevin P said I’m going to keep this short and sweet. I went to dinner here with sushi crazed Kevin P., his beautiful wife and a few other Unilocalers. My love for fish is non existent so I usually hope the restaurant has some kind of white chicken meat that I can eat. Laugh all you want but I’m dead serious! Hooray! This place exceeded my expectations when I found out it had chicken teriyaki sushi rolls! There edamame was good too so I was a happy camper! I enjoyed all the chicken while the other adults ate the fishy stuff. This place is located in a strip mall right off Ventura Boulevard so it’s pretty easy to find and parking is easy as well.

This place was pretty good. I ordered to go and my pick up time was a little off. They said 15 min and in reality it took 30. Good thing I wasn’t in a rush. I ordered vegetable tempura but the sauce it came with was a bit sweet. I ordered the Baked Salmon Roll and didn’t care too much for it. It had cream cheese in the roll and it just didn’t do it for me. And then I got some basic Avocado and Vegetable rolls and those were pretty good. The waiters were real pleasant and friendly. Didn’t have no problem giving me extra ginger and spicy mayo. The interior was real nice and clean too. Very basic but modern. I’ll be back to try some other stuff.
