Any fabric and any size, we will have your sofa ready in 2 – 3 weeks! Your sofa says something about who you are. It is usually the focal point of the living space and most people use it every day, whether you like reading, napping, entertaining or watching TV. We take this into consideration when designing our sofas and chairs and offer you the best quality, comfort and design at the best possible prices! Our frames are built using quality materials and craftsmanship for lasting strength and stability. Our cushions are built for excellent comfort and support. Our fabrics will suit the latest design trends with style and durability in mind!

We specialize in custom built sofas, sectionals, sofa beds, dining chairs, lounges, headboards, and ottomans, in ANY size with ANY fabric in 2 – 3 weeks! Serving the residential and commercial industry. We also re-​upholster and slip cover existing furniture. Interior design assistance available upon request.

History

Established in 1992.

When I was in high school I started to work for a furniture company part-​time making deliveries and one thing let to another. I switched from making deliveries to a salesman in a retail showroom after many years I decided to open my first retail showroom which lead to the second location with room to manufacture and that gave me the foundation to grow to the third and fourth location. I have learned alot along the way and it does not end, theirs always something new and that keeps you growing.

My role at Sofa Interiors covers just about everything! I have been part of this business for over 20 years and hope to have 20 more. Mainly, I make sure all departments are functioning as they should, and thanks to my staff I don’t have to be as involved as I used to.

Always a great experience with Faviola! I live in the neighborhood and am always checking out this cozy shop. I finally had the opportunity to reupholster a beloved piece. From start to finish Faviola was great to work with, I spent over an hour browsing fabric swatches and when I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted she said it was no problem to supply the fabric myself (calico wouldn’t even hear of this). A few weeks later, fabric in hand I dropped off my ottoman. The job was done impeccably for a great price in under two weeks. They even helped me out when there was some damage to the foam underneath and replaced it free of charge. You can’t get that customer service anywhere these days!

From start to finish this place was the best. I was a bit nervous about custom ordering a sofa because some of the things I’ve seen looked «homemade.» Faviola worked with me from doing the dimensions, fabric, and design functionality. What I liked a lot is that she knew what she was doing and her suggestions made perfect sense. She also did not try to oversell on product simply because my clients are wealthy. When the sofa was finished I went to look at it at the warehouse in Glendale. Everyone was very nice and also suggested a more sturdier foam backing and explained why. The price increase was very insignificant so we went for it. When the finished product arrived it exceeded my expectations. We could not be happier. The lines are clean and it looks very well-​made. If you want some quality work with friendly and professional people Sofa Interiors is the place!

As an interior designer, I am always looking for great resources that can deliver excellent quality merchandise that is fairly priced. I have purchased many pieces from Sofa Interiors in Studio City, and Faviola and her staff never fail to deliver. I frequently have challenging design problems, and we always manage to come up with something that my clients absolutely love! The delivery time is quick, and the products are outstanding! They do meticulous custom work, and they are delightful to work with. I cannot say enough good things about them. I needed to do a quick re-​do on my family room for an up-​coming event. Due to circumstances beyond my control, it was a real rush and I had less than a month. I went to Sofa Interiors in Studio City, after checking out the usual retail online sites, (Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, etc.) and realizing there was no way I could get anything from them in time.
The saleswoman at Sofa Interiors, Faviola, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
We spent hours over a few days figuring out exactly what I wanted, the right measurements, fabric, stuffing, etc. I found her to be patient and very intuitive about what would work best for me and understanding my taste.
Much to my surprise and elation, my four pieces (sofa, love-​seat, chair & ottoman) were actually ready a week ahead of time, and in plenty of time for my party. They look terrific, and getting custom pieces ended up not costing more than I would have spent ordering from one of the chain retailers mentioned above. I’m very happy with my purchase. I was at both this store and the Glendale factory store. The quality of their sofas is excellent and they specialize in custom making them to fit your room or your imagination. Although I am not currently in the market for a sofa, I did pick up a couple of wall hanging mirrors from them. The prices were very reasonable. The people at the Glendale store were particularly helpful especially Scott. I would definitely recommend and go back to them.

I got exactly what I wanted at this custom sofa place on Ventura Blvd. The girl was very helpful and I was able to get the comfort level and the style of the sofa I wanted. Kind of traditional but with a twist. She bent over backwards to make sure I got what I wanted. Very nice sofa… tayloring is perfect. I love it!

Scott is incredibly knowledgeable about furniture and upholstery. We first met him when we wanted to replace the cushion padding in our Bernhardt sofa. He recommended the perfect cushions that will allow us to use our beloved sofa for a long time. We went back to him to get some mid-​century modern dining chairs re-​upholstered as well. They are beautiful! He replaced the back and seat cushions and webbing. He even scotch guarded the fabric so we could maintain over time. We always have a wonderful experience and will continue to go to Scott for all of our furniture and upholstery needs.

As an artistic person that I am, I went in the store with an idea and picture of the perfect sofa. So I love having unique pieces, so when i see furniture in the magazine or online that i love but i know is crazy expensive i know i can take the pic to sofa interiors to make it for me and i know their quality will be amazing. Basically they are great with custom stuff for a reasonable price based on the quality. I have purchased 2 sectionals and 2 Ottomans and i know this stuff will last forever. Overall i love this place, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it could take a while for them to make your stuff, but I guess since they are hand making the stuff that it takes a while anyway so it’s not that bad, it’s worth it if you think about it.

WENT TO THE GLENDALE LOCATION (FACTORY) to pick up my UFO chair. ITS a beauty. I will write them a review. Its a very difficult chair to redo, because of the twists and turns, but Armen (the cutter) did a wonderful job. Picture to come.

I had a wonderful experience at Sofa Interiors re-​upholstering my existing sofa (I had bought it there 15 years ago and it was still in great shape, just the wrong color.) The salesperson, Faviola, zeroed right in on what I needed and as she figured out my taste she started bringing me wonderful fabrics. She even steered me away from choices that would be too expensive. She gave me an accurate estimate on the price. They picked up my sofa right on time and delivered it back right when they said they would. I loved the whole experience!

Short Version: the sofas reflect the staff.
Long Version: This is a trendy store located on Ventura Boulevard, and the feeling of the neighborhood is reflected inside. And you can absolutely find what’s hip and now in sofa styles here, to be sure. But, alas, I was looking for something a little more traditional and something with color, as most of the sofas here were white, which in my life is like begging for a disaster to happen. And, most of the sofas were too soft for my preference. The help is very relaxed here, to the point of not being noticed at all even though I was the only customer shopping at the time. In fact, I had to be the first to greet the staff, one of the two of which were busy chatting on the phone about what he said and she said. So, yes, I’m sure people buy sofas here, but I will not be added to that list.
