We specialize in gel manicures, signature pedicures, acrylic nails, nail art, waxing, facials, and eyelash extensions. We do hot towel manicure to provide a calming and relaxing experience. Our specialty pedicures range from organic lemon green tea, which includes organic lemongrass & green tea soak with fresh lemon, scrub, masque, callus treatment, hot neck pillow and 10-​minute hot stone massage with organic cream, to organic milk coffee. There are 8 different kinds of specialty pedicures for you to choose from!

We use the highest quality products such as OPI, Swarovski, SNS, Creative, CND, Gelish, Perfect Match, BCL SPA, and OPI Infinite Shine. If you like nail art, please check our Instagram @modnailstudiocity for thousands of nail art pictures done by our professional staffs or just bring in your favorite Pinterest or Instagram picture, our staffs are well-​known for being talented, detail-​oriented and creative.

We invested in spa chairs with innovative technology designed to prevent infections from cross-​contamination. At MOD Nails, a new liner and tubing system is used for each client and is discarded right after a pedicure service. All non-​disposable instruments are washed, disinfected, and put in sealed pouches after each use according to the Health and Safety Standards by California Board. We also installed 2 highly efficient ventilators to exhaust evaporated products (strong smell) so our clients can enjoy fresh air.

History

Established in 2016.

Opened in January 2016, MOD Nails is located at the heart of Studio City, right next door to Dwell and diagonal from Granville restaurant. If you are finding a manicurist who can do exactly what you want, you don’t need to look any further.

If you expect zero risk of infections from cross-​contamination while getting your nails done, MOD Nails is a place for you. Our mission is to provide our clients with a long-​lasting experience in a modern, beautiful, and clean environment where quality and safety are our top priorities. At MOD Nails, you are called by name and treated like a friend. Your service is always started with a cup of Japanese green tea or water to keep you hydrated while being pampered at our salon.

NOTE: We do accept walk-​in clients and do our best to fit everyone in, but we recommend that you make an appointment to reserve your spot because our books can get filled up pretty quickly. Thank you and we look forward to pampering you at MOD Nails.

Mod Nails is a family-​owned business. Its concept was developed by 3 family members with 9 – 20 years of experience as manicurists and estheticians. We also have background in accounting, herbal medicine and pharmacy. We would like to combine our knowledge and expertise to bring nail experience to the next level.
