Quick Frame

This framing place is unbelievable… at first thought, it seems like such a random thing to have fallen into, but every time I’ve brought a beautiful frame in they really seem to take an immense interest in it. Everything is on time or even early, everything is always immaculately laid out, and the woman that I’ve always seen there has even suggested some pretty cool input on what colors to go with for the matting! All of this at a fraction of the cost of a big top chain store. I think part of being an adult is having a tailor and part of it is having a framing specialist. Their work is always incredible!

I love this place. Mariana has helped me turn my prints into art. I started with one and it looked so good I brought in 7 more! She’s got really good ideas and I am thrilled with the perfect finish. I now understand my dad when he told me framing was so important. Thoroughly recommend this place, whether you like in SC or not!

I get all my stuff framed here. The lady is really nice and they are reasonably priced.

Love this place and highly recommend it. Went and got a script & 11×17 matted and framed side by side and they took great care of it and it looks amazing. Great prices as well! Ended up bringing 6 more pieces to get framed. Turnaround for most items is usually a week, which works for me! Easy parking right in front.

You can’t beat the price for a poster. I frame all my son’s artwork and posters here that I don’t want to spend a fortune on. The metal frames come in a variety of colors and finishes. $ 19.95.includes dry mounting? WOW! Fantastic!

I am so very grateful Quick Frame was recommended to me. I just moved into the area, and took a lot of original movie posters from the 60s and 70s out of storage. I was so happy to be finally able to hang them in a cool new casa! But unfortunately, pro framing costs about a month’s rent. Not here! It’s not «cheap» but then again neither are the materials they use. There are many choices for frames of all kinds, and the woman who helped me was really good about measuring and assisting me in deciding on the best color schemes to match the hues in my posters. It took a few days (they have another shop on the Westside, and that is where the actual framing is done). After I dropped my posters off, and paid, I popped into another place I saw on the way home — just out of curiosity. They were quadruple the price for the SAME, EXACT service and frame quality, AND they said it would take 10 days. What’s more, they suggested mounting the rare posters. That’s a big no-​no for collectible movie posters. Thank goodness, and thanks to my friend, I found Quick Frame first. I will definitely return, and highly recommend.

We finally went to this location recently to check it out since we had 2 small posters to frame. We love their other location, went to it for over 10 years but we live closer to this one.
This place is newer, cleaner, lacks some of the charm of the other location, but it has free parking right in front of the store.
We went on a Friday, the guy who helped us was nice, had good suggestions for framing and told us the posters will be ready to pick on Monday, anytime. That was great, we also had to leave a down payment (½ of the total).
We came back on Monday, someone else was working, I can’t say I loved her manner and we asked for our framed posters. She told us «I’ll have to see if they are ready». Well, we were told they’ll be ready and they were. I don’t know why she had to even say that before checking. That’s something customer service people need to learn not to say, we don’t need no heart attack.
So overall, I can say this location is OK, the quality of work is good, customer service could be better. I still like the other location more for its charm and great customer service.

$ 650 quote literally across the street at Aaron Bros. $ 250 here for exact same thing! Fast friendly service. Been back 4 times since. Always perfect!

This place is wonderful! Decided I needed to start framing my posters post-​college. The woman that works there (I’ve seen her the six+ times I’ve been) is so honest and helpful. She has even helped me decide between two frames I couldn’t choose between.
Granted I have only used their 19.95 deal, but between my sister and I all three of our posters that they have framed look great! One they even warned me that due to how I hung it in college, that they did not recommend mounting it and instead just framed and hung it. Another they mounted, and a few months later when I went to hang it up (I’m a little slow…), I noticed it had bubbled. I took it back on a Thursday, they told me it would be ready on Saturday and they would do their best to fix it (free of charge obviously). Picked it up today, and it looks perfect!
I will definitely be going back soon.

Went here to get a simple poster frame @ the 24.99 deal and realized it’s only for the cheap thin frames (you can get cheaper elsewhere) so I had to spend ~$ 40 for a thicker frame. Was hoping to get this for my GF’s birthday and since it was called quick frame thought it would be quick. Surprised it would take 5 days for a simple poster job.
After 5 days, still nothing. I had to call in and they said something like, «We’re out of the glue, it should be done tomorrow». I said ok… 2 days later (missed my GF’s birthday), still nothing. I call, «We don’t *something else*, but it should be done later today or tomorrow». What? Waited another 2 days, «Oh we ordered the frame, it should be getting here soon.» What? I thought they didn’t have the «glue» or whatever, now they don’t have the entire frame?
The next day I finally get a call. Run down and get it, he apologized (somewhat sincerely) and that’s it. The frame job was pretty good however, thus why I wont give a 1 star. Also, I understand running into problems ect. but at least call me and let me know exactly what’s happening and be honest.
After having troubles with a poster, I would not feel comfortable doing something more valuable here (painting ect.).

So happy with the job they did for me! I had two pieces. The first was a glass replacement. The glass in my giant poster shattered. Thinking that it would cost a fortune to repair, I almost threw it out. But I got a quote for it from Daniel AND in the end… it was cheaper than the quote. Great deal!
The second was a gift for my boyfriend– a vintage movie poster. Daniel had great ideas, showed me some options and helped me pick the right frame and matte. The print looks better than I could have imagined. He even made sure that it came in on time for the bf’s b-​day. He really came through for me!

After doing a mental «WTF?» at Michael’s and Aaron Brothers when hearing the estimate for framing my artwork, I took a chance on Quick Frame since it’s near my house.
I’m really glad I did. They were polite, my custom frame was extremely affordable, and the turnaround time was less than a week. From now on, I plan on getting all my art framed there.

This place is fantastic. Fast, cheap, and amazing work. Don’t spend your money anywhere else.

My friend recommended this place to me so I was extremely confident to use them. I have now used them for three separate pieces and, I’m afraid to say, I won’t be back.
The first thing they framed for me was a very straightforward art print with no mounting. Turnaround time was a week– exactly as quoted. This was just before Christmas, and since it wasn’t expensive and turned out well, I was happy and looked forward to giving them more business.
The second time wasn’t quite as successful. On inspection at home, there was a pretty major flaw in the framing, and since I’d had to wait closer to two weeks rather than the one week I’d been quoted, I was pretty annoyed. I returned the frame and was told they’d re-​do it. It took another ten days and to be honest, they were entirely unapologetic about it– almost as if I should expect there to be problems with the framing every now and again.
3^rd attempt. I gave them two small pieces to frame. I neglected to check the work in the store and when I got home, I found not only a major flaw in one of the frames once again (like, impossible to miss bad) but also the general finish was poor. Yet again I made the trip back to complain. They told me it would take another week to fix and that they would ring me when they had sorted out the problem. I asked that perhaps since this was the second time in succession that I’d had to return their work, they might give me a discount, or at least an apology. They said they’d ask the owner about the discount, and after I practically begged them, they admitted that there was a problem with the work and that they were sorry. Blood from a stone…
The place is cheap, yes, but the workmanship isn’t great, they don’t deliver when they say they will and when it goes wrong, which in my experience it invariably will, they won’t apologize. On top of that, they’ll make you wait even longer and most sinfully, they won’t do anything to try and keep your custom. Unbelievably arrogant and stupid. It’s not like they’re the only framers on Ventura, is it?

Turn-​around time was about a week, but for $ 20, for a full-​size movie poster, I was willing to wait. Great frame quality, easy and quick to drop off and pick up.

I always take my stuff to Quick Frame, it is cheaper than other places (even with their 50−70% discount events) and is way MUCH better quality. They also have a special on posters that are $ 19.99 (24×36).
I also ask them to have the back accessible so I can change the art/​pictures and they have no problem doing it.
But again… QUALITY!!! not cheap plastic pseudo wood alike frames.

HUGE fan of Quick Frame. Poster framing (in your basic metal frame, but in a variety of colors) is $ 19.99 up to a certain size (methinks 24×36). I had two prints done there and they both came out great.
I also brought in a painting for a much more complicated framing job. The painting itself needed to be mounted, plus I had it set deeply in a thick wooden frame (which Jay helped me pick out and, yes, it’s perfect). The painting was about $ 120 to frame, which is SO much cheaper than I’ve paid for similar jobs and it came out beautiful.
BTW, while I was there last time, some fancy-​schmancy European couple was picking up an original Warhol lithograph of Marylin Monroe that they had just gotten from an auction and brought there to be framed; it was stunning. I mean, that’s a pretty good endorsement, no?

I went here because the person reviewing this before me said it was so cheap and amazing. I used Unilocal to find my first framing place.
A) Yes, it is cheaper than Aaron Brothers, but thats not saying much. It’s not SOOO CHEAP. My frame work cost me $ 97.00, granted it was not a simple order; but dont think they will do every from job for $ 19.99-$ 29.99.
B) I was very nervous when I left my order, because I didn’t really know if the guy understood my order.
C) It took about 9 days for my order to get ready. First time framing, so i don’t know, is that normal? Maybe…
BUT THE FINAL PRODUCT. AMAZING! Well worth the money and they did a perfect job, on time with a smile.
