Johnson’s Automotive Center

When I brought my car to Johnson’s for an oil change and yearly inspection, I was overall pleased with the service I received (maybe 3 ½ — 4 stars).
However…
My husband’s car recently died. It started making what he said was a «funny» noise and wasn’t getting much power under the hood. I had it towed over to Johnson’s and asked them to check it out. The engine was out of oil and that was that. We took the car and junked it.
The staff at Johnson’s seems to know what they’re doing (from my short experience with them). But the way one of the staff members (and of course, I didn’t get his name — stupid me) treated me was deplorable. Apparently their business number rings to this man’s personal cell phone. This may be after hours or all the time — I don’t know. What I DO know is that when I called them at 6pm on a Wednesday, I was subjected to a condescending lecture about calling someone’s cell phone and how it was supposed to be used just for tow calls, so they could offer 24 hour towing — something I had absolutely no way of knowing.
Then, when I went to go pick up the car, I was told — in an extremely rude manner — that we should be checking the oil every so often.
With so many other auto repair places around, I see no reason to go back to a place with such rude customer service. Very disappointing.
