McDonald’s

the drive thru service SUCKS!!! Very slow service and order is wrong and/​or food/​coffee cold!
Management needs to put «customers» first and speed up their workers!

Are they just lazy or slow? Give yourself 10 minutes for drive-​thru. Just went inside and left after standing at a register for however many minutes with no service.

There was a santintiaon truck while mc donalds was open and the splashed poop everywere and fumes were everywere.

At this particular McDonald’s location, I also recommend that if you’re ordering your food to go or use their drive thru… double check your bag to ensure your order was properly filled. That’s my biggest gripe with this McD’s location — inaccurate order filling.
Aside from that, it is what it is… McDonald’s fast food. «I’m loving it!» Haha

I normally would not review the obvious chain restaurants that literally every single human being on earth has been to, but I feel like I need to because the service at most McDonalds restaurants is completely nonexistant. I will review this one because I went here the other day, and it’s where I got my most recent bout of bad service.
I try not to eat fast food, and don’t very often. When I do, I try to get the healthiest items on the menu. For me, one of those items is always a fruit and yogurt parfait. They are usually decent enough, and fresh. I had to wait a while for this one, and when I finally got it, the fruit on top was completely frozen. I hate that. I got this for immediate consumption, I had had a long day at work and was totally famished. I didn’t have the patience to wait for the fruit to thaw. I should have been informed that they didn’t have any ready, but there was no way that was happening since the employees here don’t seem to be willing or able to talk (more on that later). After angrily tossing it back in the bag, I also noticed that my grilled chicken sandwich was chock full of mayo, which I requested there be none of. So basically, this meal was a bust. I tossed it all and started over — went somewhere else that was NOT McDonald’s
Also — both the person I gave my money to and the person who handed me my food were competely mute. Neither said a word. I at least expected a confirmation of the total I owed — «$ 4.87, please» — nope. He just looked at me, blinking, waiting for me to hand over the cash. Not a thank you, not a smile, nothing. Same with the person who handed me the food — no smile, greeting, or thank you of any kind.
Now I don’t expect a huge smile and 5 minute conversation from McDonalds’ employees, or any other fast-​food employees for that matter, but wow. You can’t even get a semi-​smile or nod or any sort of acknowledgement from these people? You may hate your job, but please don’t take it out on me. Customer service just keeps getting worse and worse. Only the «best» at McDonald’s!

This place looks like its in some secluded area but its always busy. The reason is because the workers are slow. I can tell you one thing that irritates me the most; the food is unusually salty. Its the saltiest McDonalds around. I’m sorry if you guys haven’t caught up to it yet, any place that has a mojizzo working in the back, usually serves really salty food.

Filthy, slow service, unruly unsupervised children. At the start of the evening rush they kept just one register of three open with over a dozen customers standing in line while two employees sat at a table in the dining area talking.

They can be slow and a couple times my order was wrong — but it’s mcdonalds! It is what it is and ya keep going back…

McDonald’s is McDonald’s… and honestly, it’s one of my favorite fast food places for many reasons, probably consistency first and foremost.
Prime example: In 2005, I was at O’Hare’s Mickey D’s and ordered a Sausage Biscuit for breakfast. Delicious!
Then I flew over to Greece. When we were at Athens’ airport, getting ready to fly back home, I had — that’s right — a Sausage Biscuit for breakfast! And it was identical (and just as delicious) as the one I had back in Chicago.
They also have great washrooms if you are on the road, and my kids never turn down McDonald’s when we are traveling. Plus their coffee is one of my favorites!
But I digress. The reason I’m Unilocaling about Streamwood’s McDonald’s is that, in my humble opinion, it is the BEST McDonald’s in my neck of the woods. We have roughly three near-​by (in Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, and Bartlett), not counting the one on Irving, but in comparison to the rest, the food at the Streamwood McDonald’s is always good, hot, tasty and usually prepared the way we order it (my kids can be picky).
The others just don’t come close in consistent quality (and they almost always get the order wrong). And as mentioned, the interior is a little nicer than most McDonald’s. Luckily I live close to this one, but we have gone out of our way and skipped over the other area Mickey D’s to order specifically from the one in Streamwood!

I’ve been to better and faster McDonalds. But the interior is «fancy» and clean, so I guess it could be worse.
Solid three stars – they usually get the order right!
