Dr. Schneider Dental Care was originally located on Barrington Road for 14 years. He then relocated his practice to Sutton Road in 1999.

Dr. Schneider has been practicing dentistry in the Streamwood area since 1985. A 1985 graduate of Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine, he continuously educates himself on new dental techniques and technologies through dental conferences, conventions, seminars, and literature. Dr. Schneider is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy, the Chicago Dental Society, the Elgin Area Dental Study Club, and the Illinois State Dental Society.

I have been going to Dr. Schneider for about a year and have had a positive experience. It can be difficult to get an appointment for the time you want, but that’s typical for many dentists. He uses a small camera to view your teeth which is far more comfortable than the traditional methods of holding a patients mouth open and trying to see in (its also kind of neat to see your teeth on tv!).

I had previously written a negative review and I regret doing so. I had my information wrong all along. I had seen a couple other dentist’s who apparently didn’t know what they were doing. I was under the impression Dr. Schneider was filling teeth that didn’t have any issues. Boy was I wrong!
When I had excruciating pain in my jaw/​tooth… I knew where to you. Dr. Schneider is the best dentist you could possibly find.

I have been going to Dr. Schneider for over twenty years now and can’t say enough good things about him as a dentist and just as an overall person. He is knowledgeable, personable, and always in a great mood. I have 100% trust in his work and opinion whenever I have come in for any type of procedure (standard cleaning, cavities, wisdom teeth, InvisAlign).
Thank you Dr. Schneider for everything you have done for my teeth, my brushing habits, and really just spoiling my dentist experience in such a great way. Someone is going to have some huge shoes to fill when you finally hang up your scrubs.

Have been going to Dr. Schneider for about 5 years now. As a kid I had a truly frightening dentist; I used to dread dental appointments, but no more. Everyone on staff, without exception, is pleasant & professional, the atmosphere is always relaxed, the space feels very clean and I never have to wait long. State-​of-​the-​art equipment in use. I always feel like I’m in good hands there. Dr. Schneider is gentle and thorough. He really listens to any concerns, but doesn’t push to do unnecessary procedures. How wonderful to have a dentist I really like and trust!

My husband introduced me to Dr. Schneider about 6 years ago. We have had nothing but great experiences with him.
We have since moved about 30 miles away and tried going to an office near our home– what a mistake.
We drive the hour it takes to get there and its worth it.
He listens to your concerns– expl– I hate the polishing part so he does it quick and painless— per my anxiety over it.
I have TMJ and he is going to a confrence this Dec so he sugg i come back in Jan when he has updated info on the best way to treat my condition– NOT just goingt into some long drawn out expensive treatment right away.
We love this office and will go there as along as we can.

My family has been going to this dentist all my life. The story goes that a dentist wanted my mom to get gum surgery, but my parents decided to get a second opinion. They found Dr. Schneider.
Rather than spend a lot of money (and cause a lot of pain!) with surgery, Dr. Schneider suggested my mom floss regularly. This made surgery unnecessary. Moral of the story: Dr. Schneider has the patients’ interest in mind.
In my experience, I’ve never had to sit very long in the waiting area. The receptionists, dental hygienists, and dentist have all been very friendly and I feel comfortable going here.
