Great service! The waitress is HOT! The chicken fried steak with country potatoes is one of the best breakfast plates. There coffee is always fresh and HOT. Pancakes are perfect.

Mediocre good and service. The country potatoes were flavorless and barely cooked. It was kind of expensive for what you got.

Came here Friday morning after Thanksgiving bc after eating a lot the night before, you wake up wanting to stuff your face again. It didn’t start well when we waited at least 5+ min for any of the 4 employees that kept walking by to even greet us. Although once we did get seated the service was actually pretty good. As for the food I ordered the Country Scramble. Everything tasted good but portions didn’t match the price. For $ 9.49 I was hoping the scramble(eggs, chopped bacon and sausage, cheese, country gravy) would be the more filling part, but it was the country potatoes that took up most of the plate. Although I loved the potatoes, it’s the cheapest item to make. Give me more scramble! Anyways I’ll probably try here again but I won’t be rushing to do so.

The food here was alright. They had an old fashion diner setting. I was not impressed at all with the older lady who handled my service as well as our payment! She did not smile and greet us and looked a bit irritated…(they were not busy)…she did not give us our receipt for our orders and even after we’ve paid, she was trying to say we didn’t because she have forgotten that we did already until the young lady in the back came out and reminded her that we did.

Love this place for breakfast! Such a good deal for the amount & quality of food you get. The service is friendly & primarily what keeps me coming back. I love their biscuits & gravy, sausage, eggs & hash browns. They’re closed Tuesdays like a lot of other restaurants, but no biggie. Support local businesses & eat here. Great for groups, as they have TONS of room.

The cashier tried hard to cheat me out of a dollar. My bill was 21.46 I gave her a 50 she gave me 27.54 back. When I told her that makes 49. where’s the other dollar, she told me no that’s right. Even her register said my change was 28.54, but she argued with me very seriously I don’t know if it was intentional and I felt cheap arguing over a buck, but it pissed me off.

Great breakfast place near miracle mile. The chicken fried steak and hash browns is great and the service is generally pretty impressive for a diner setting like this. You will never get to the bottom of a cup of coffee. The Older man who appears to either be the manager or owner is on top of shit. He runs all over the place and does everything from running the cash register to bussing tables.

Been here a few times usually good service. Went last Sunday after church & have to say service was not very good. My son ordered scrambled eggs well done they were not done well so we brought to the waitresses attention who proceeded to look at the eggs and had the nerve to say they looked done to her. She did take the eggs back to have the cooks literally cook place them on the burner and not redo them!!! Really ugh! Well they took it upon themselves to add the tip!!! Not cool. Not to mention they added an additional $ 10 on top of that! This is the first time this has happened & I’ve been a patronage many times w/large parties. The worst part was the staff & mgr bursting in on my son in the restroom!!! With no apology!!! We had to bring it to their attention even then they acted as if an apology was not required!!!

So yummy! My friends and I stopped here on Sunday after church service for some food. We were starving and knew exactly what we wanted: I got the early riser and my friends got the chicken fried steak. We were so shocked at how fast the food arrived! My friend told us that they were known for their country potatoes so we ordered those instead of the hash brown option. I’m usually a sucker for hash browns, but the country potatoes were bomb! They were sliced and fried so they still had that satisfying crunchy texture. The price also isn’t bad at all for the amount of food. Our waitress was really sweet, let us have split checks and came back to check on us quite often. Sad that I hadn’t come here before more often, but I’ll definitely be coming back for some more when I’m in the area!

I stopped by here for brunch because Chuck’s was really packed on Valentine’s Day and we thought we’d try something new in Stockton. Based on some of the reviews I read, I thought the portion sizes were going to be huge! But they were pretty average. I ordered the ABC omelette with hash browns and wheat toast. My boyfriend ordered a basic breakfast of eggs sunny side up, hash browns, and toast. And we had a side of french toast to share. My omelette was actually pretty good! There was a good ratio of avocado, bacon, and cheese. I will say that the avocado seemed a lot fresher than other breakfast places. The french toast, hash browns, and everything else were ok. But they didn’t stand out very much. I had no real complains about the food. Everything tasted good, but not amazing. The entire experience was pretty much your standard IHOP/Denny’s experience. Nothing was that special. I wish some of the menu items didn’t deduct potatoes/toast from the order. You can’t really call it a combination plate if my order of waffles or french toast doesn’t at least come with hash browns. There were other combinations that sounded good, so it wasn’t too much of an issue at the time for us. The one thing I did not like was that our waitress dropped off our check as soon as she dropped off our food. I haven’t even taken a bite of my omelette and you’re trying to rush me out of here? It just irritates me when restaurants do that. Especially since the service was pretty much nonexistent as soon as the check was dropped off. Would I come here again? Meh. I guess. But it’s not going to be my first choice for breakfast.

Food is great if you don’t want to cook or want home cooking outside of home. I got the hunters breakfast my lil sis got chicken fried steak. You can tell it’s family owned because they care what you think. They are busy running around and meeting every multipersonalitied customers needs that comes through the door. Great customer service! Especially for this time in the world.

Most disappointing breakfast I have ever had. What breakfast place doesn’t have egg benedict? Come on guys, time to get this place into shape! Came here for a staff brunch hoping for a nice filling breakfast. First of all, I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, I got boxed tropicana. I ordered meat-lovers omlette(which is usually my last resort if nothing looks better on the menu), and it was small and bland. The hashbrowns that it came with were a disgrace to term. And the biscuits and gravy, well lets just say that if my country roommate gave them a try, he’d probably throw them back at them. The only thing I could eat was a the banana in the fruit plate. And the service was so slow. And the women couldn’t even figure out how to split a tab. Well first and last time here for me. (But some people I know really enjoy this place, so maybe it’s just my inner bougie San Franciscan self complaining.)

Let’s get straight to the point because I don’t even think this place deserves my usual lengthy reviews. Huge portions for good prices, but average tasting food. My friend asked for fresh squeezed orange juice(which is on their menu), and he got Tropicana instead. I don’t remember when carton orange juice was considered fresh squeezed. Service was horrible — slow and inattentive. One of the waitresses was incredibly rude to my party and completely soured the entire experience. Will not be coming back again.

3 ½ The food here is consistantly good, but the service is not. I continue to come here as it is close by and I know what to expect. When they are short staffed(somewhat common) service is anywhere from decent to downright terrible. When they have plenty of staff this is the 5 star rating of old. Have realistic expectations and try it out. You may be somewhat surprised.

Not located in the best part of town, but overall seems like just a basic breakfast/lunch diner. The Fat Man had hash browns, ham & eggs. All a bit greasy, the hash browns a side of extra grease. Only 1 piece of ham, he was sad. His first cup of coffee was cold, second scalding. I had the Spanish Omelet, no onions, egg beaters, salsa on the side. All directions followed to a tee, but again hash browns were extra greasy. Mine was pretty good, Ortega chilies, tomato, avocado and sour cream, but could’ve used more flavor. Service was excellent though, the girl was fast and food came within minutes of ordering.

Came here for breakfast with my friends. Probably my last meal in Stockton aka the 209. It was 6 of us and the place was already crowded at 11am. We waited for about 20 minutes before a large table cleared up. I ordered the Country Scramble with Country Potatoes. The food came out slower than I would like, but it was pretty good. The scramble came with sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. It wasn’t overcooked so it wasn’t dry, partly because of the gravy on top as well. The country potatoes were good, but I prefer them crispier. Overall, not a bad breakfast spot. Service is friendly but could be quicker.
