This place is a sham I went here February 2014 supposedly a guy name Mark Smith was the owner David Garcia was the mechanic that worked on my car I paid them $ 2500 cash to fix my car they sold me on a bogus warranty from ATRA I first got my car back the same problem precess good to happen slipping gears I took it back they had it for about three or four days they told me the motor mounts were the problem they fix that supposedly still the same problem preexisted and now I had a new problem will bearing was shot so they tried to say maybe that was the problem had to pay them 500 more dollars for that plus the motor mount job got it back on the third time nothing changed everything was the same went back now Mark Smith has disappeared and David Garcia is the supposedly new owner went to court won my case against a BNH transmission they refused to hold up to responsibility and pay they put the blame on Mark Smith saying he is no longer around but yet David Garcia is the one that perform the work on my car and signed off on the warranty so if Mark Smith was such a shady character what does that say about you for signing off on a warranty with shady work so the new owners position is that he wasn’t the owner then it’s not his problem but yet he signed his name to the warranty saying the car was good to go very shady business used to go there years ago took all my cars there never again on the original judgment ATRA Was held responsible but they tried to say that the warranty provided was no good it means nothing so do not purchase one of these warranties David Garcia even went to court to help get these guys off the judgment needless to say you’re in a half later car still sitting in my driveway with a busted transmission about $ 3000 later even though I do have a judgment one they’re still trying to hide behind the fact that he says he was not the owner than just a worker that signed off on the warranty they have not even once tried to fix it and make it right his stand is he was not the owner just a worker what does that say about your work ethic if you signed off on a warranty on Shady work ATRA says their warranties are for educational purposes and it’s a way to link up shops with other shops out of state in case my car was the breakdown somewhere else they would have someone in there umbrella help me what a joke they even went as far as to change the company’s name from B & H transmission to B and H transmission and auto care David Garcia even said he would contact the property owner and tell them about the situation all of it sounded good in court never heard from him after that day SHADY!!! like I said it’s not like I was a new customer been going here for years same with my grandfather and my uncle’s we all took our cars here even knew the original owner Richard he knew my family well damn shame!!!

Honest, great work ethic.
Used several times in the past.
Stayed until 10:00pm to finish because I needed my truck.

What a positive experience from B&H Transmission.
I brought my truck in a few days after buying it to get all transmission fluids changed and filters replaced. I was greeted with a friendly and warm environment which allowed me to feel at home. The service was more than friendly, and they definitely know a thing or two about customer service. I explained that I was a bit short on funds and didn’t have a ton of money to spend, and they worked with me to get a better price out the door. Service was completed in a timely manner, paperwork was clear and understandable, and I didn’t get the slightest feeling I was being cheated which is common at repair shops.

This place has been around a long time.
I had a 700R4 transmission rebuilt in an s-​10 Blazer about 10 years ago.
I towed it in and 5 days later done.
Drove off and never had a single problem until we sold it and it was still going last I heard.
So my son got a 51 Chev truck with a 350C trans in it.
We pulled it ourselves as I am a retired technician.
Took it in said no rush and 5 days later they called and said it was ready.
We put it in and it shifted just how we explained we wanted it to and works perfect.

Extremely disappointed! The clerk says she will call you back at a certain time and repeatedly fails to do so. Your vehicle is promised at a certain time, and it is not ready. When mechanics are out sick, instead of offering the customer a discount on the lengthy waiting time, they offer excuses. Very unprofessional. After complaining of my dissatisfaction with the service, they offered no remedy, only personal excuses.
