Solid Thai Cuisine, great service! Only serves 3.2ABV beer, and no cocktails; other then that this is a Stillwater institution.

I ate here 2 days in a row. The Tom Kha soup is pretty good. A little heavy on the lemongrass, but really good overall. I ordered the Pad Thai the second day and it was horrible. It tasted like al dente egg noodles covered in sweet and sour sauce. They did offer me a different meal and I traded for the Tom Kha soup again since I knew it was good. I’ve eaten authentic Thai food around the Pacific. If you don’t know better, you’ll think it’s great, but if you have enjoyed real Thai food, be careful what you order. I guess you should be weary when you see Japanese and Chinese offerings also on the menu. I guess for Stillwater, Oklahoma it’s good Thai food.

Some of the best food i’ve had in my entire life! It doesn’t matter what you order, it’s all to die for. You have to get their coconut chicken and try their bubble tea. We drive an hour just to get lunch here our cravings get so bad. Nothing else like it.

Great little place in Stillwater, OK! Location: A quick 10 minute walk from the OSU campus! There is plenty of parking. Food: Delicious! We ordered veggie spring rolls(fried), curry, and a stir fry. Everything was delicious and fresh. The salad was just romaine lettuce with peanut dressing, but the dressing was tasty. Service: This was a busy night for Oklahoma State(homecoming walk around). However, the servers and hostess were efficient. My group of three got in within 10 minutes, though the line and crowd seemed daunting. The service was slightly slow when we were eating, but that’s OK, and to be expected during a busy time! Our server was friendly and attentive, though my friend did not get his water refilled. Our check came in a timely manner. A major con is the one restroom.

I love their honey sesame chicken! It is the best I have ever eaten and their bubble tea is pretty good as well. They serve large portions which really fills you up. Only thing I don’t care for is the egg drop soup at the beginning of the meal. I will definetly be eating here in the future.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and found it quite tasty. However the last few times I have eaten there my food was cold. I’m not sure what is going on there but it seems to be going downhill. Giving them one more try today.

Good luck choosing what you want to eat, the entire menu is appealing and makes a Thai fanatic want to eat everything! Good for me, our party of five all ordered different orders and we got to try everyone’s dishes. Once seated after a short wait we were greeted promptly by our server Steven who was helpful in explaining all of the flavors and options to us. Our courses came out quickly and tasted great. I got the vegetable soup over the egg drop and I personally thought it was better too. Also, all three salad dressings were delicious. All of the entrée dishes were fantastic, cheap, and ginormous portions, ask for a box and you’ll have another meal for tomorrow. Thank you Thai Café for feeding our cravings and exceeding in all areas, we can’t wait to come back!

Heard a lot about this restaurant. Its been a while i had Thai food. But this place actually surprised me with its coconut crunchy chicken, its one of the best chicken i had and the quantity was good enough that i had to box it. The sitting place was good but from outside this restaurant is not in a good shape. I The service is fine. I would like to go there again.

This restaurant is so jam packed with flavor in every dish! I am obsessed! The crab Rangoons are SO delicious, every meal comes with soup and a salad. The egg drop soup is the best I have ever had, generous portions of egg in it. The peanut sauce is one of the best and the most delicious meal is the coconut fried chicken!

This is my favorite restaurant in Stillwater, and I’ve patronized Thai Café since it opened. Pros: The food — Stillwater’s most sophisticated flavors. Coconut Chicken, Pad Thai, Curry, the salad with peanut dressing, soups, it’s all great. I order to go mostly and the food is generally ready within 20 minutes, sometimes longer. Cons: The Service, To-Go Orders, and square footage/location. The building is the old Del Rancho, surrounded by a chewed up parking lot and lots of concrete. The building is small and, due to its popularity, there’s significant lag during peak times of the day. It is near the OSU campus, and there are few places that would beat the location, it’s just that that whole block just looks… rough. It would require an investment in landscape and décor. The dine-in experience for 2 or more is guaranteed 1+ hour. The servers rotate fairly quickly and it doesn’t appear that there is an implemented training program. The restaurant will get 5 stars when they implement systems such as to educate service staff for an optimal overall performance and reduce wait times.

Soup and salad was not very good. That’s why only giving 4 starts. My chicken stir fry was really yummy though, and the waiter was very nice! It is pretty pricey though.

The food here is mediocre at best. However the staff is completely incompetent. Some coworkers and I called in a carry out order for lunch and when we arrived they asked us what we had ordered and what spice level we wanted. I then asked if they had even started our order, they informed us that they had given our order to a different customer. And they it would take about 20 minutes to make it again. They didn’t even apologize for their mistake.

They were closed but now there back. The food here is okay, always with a lot of salt and little developed flavor. I can’t really suggest you make a b-line for this establishment, but if you’re in the mood for Thai food, you’ll get it here.

Had lunch at Thai Café for the first time. My coworker recommended it & said it was one of the better Asian restaurants in Stillwater. I don’t frequent Stillwater a whole lot so I can’t backup his outrageous claim, but I must say the food was good. The service was prompt & friendly. The ambiance overall was comfortable and inviting. There wasn’t any hair or bone in my food. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I wasn’t completely blown away by the food… at least not yet. I’d like to give it another try before going full blown 5 star. I ordered the coconut crusted chicken which came drizzled in a sweet sweet/tangy sauce a rather small scoop of rice. I don’t know what it is about coconut, but you could pretty much cover any food in crusted coconut & I’d love it! It will probably one day be my undoing! It also comes with a side of broccoli which seems really standard, but if there is one vegetable that can be easily & frequently screwed up its broccoli. For some reason a lot of places overcook… this was not the case. Props to the chef for rockin’ that broccoli. Prices were reasonable. Long story short, if I’m back in Stillwater I would definitely consider Thai Café again.

Only food I’ve enjoyed in Stillwater. Almost want to give it a 5 star just compared to other restaurants I’ve tried out here. Pad Thai. Ordered spicy but wasn’t spicy at all. Mild at most. I’m not even a big fan of ultra spicy food and ordered spicier than I normally would because I figured they’d tone it down for the clientele. Still disappointed. Strong taste of ketchup or sweet tomatoes in my pad thai. I could tolerate it, but by the end it was getting a little funky. Other than that it tasted fine. Not anywhere close to the best pad thai I’ve had but also not the worst. Spring rolls were a waste. Too tiny. Fried ice cream was pretty good. Thai Iced Tea was good and a decent serving size.

It had been several years since I’d been to Thai Café before I went back this weekend. First the bad parts – We had a party of 7 and they ended up having to split us up because all of their large tables had just been seated. This would have been fine if they would have seated us next to one another(there were three booths open and they seated us with the extra booth in the middle). I honestly remember the food being better than what it was. The soup was good. The salad was just lettuce with watered down vinaigrette on it. My General Tso’s chicken was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Everyone else in my party was really pleased with their food though, so maybe this pregnancy has caused my taste buds to change… I almost forgot to mention that when we were first served our drinks, my husband’s water had a disgusting taste to it. We are guessing the glass was dirty and that’s what caused it as the next water they brought tasted fine.

We were seated quickly. I had the General Tso’s Chicken(5 Star). The food was great and came out fairly quickly. The server was friendly and was very accommodating. He clarified our order to make sure we were getting what we wanted and did a great job!
