The American Legion Post 48 has a large hall for rent, parties, groups are welcomed. Also a 1,250 sf deck over looking the St. Croix river, Play pull tabs daily, Bingo in the fall & winter, Full kitchen which operates year round with wait staff. Home made pizza, full bar and dining area. Live music on the deck during summer months, Sundays 4 – 8. Parking avail close by, never has been a problem, All are welcomed at POST 48 in historic downtown Stillwater Mn. 651−439−1435 open 7 days a week.
History
Established in 1922.
The American Legion Post 48 has been a fixture in historic downtown Stillwater since 1922. Post 48 has been in the same location since 1944. The American Legion was started by returning WWI vets and has been serving vets and their families in every conflict since. Boosting a membership of over 300 for Post 48 alone.
