History

Established in 2010.

Big T’s started in 2010 in Home Valley in a small location inside of an RV park. After quickly outgrowing that location we moved into Stevenson in the old Dairy Freeze Building in 2011 where we remained until settling into our new location on 1st street in August of 2015.

Great view, homey feeling, nice staff. We went for breakfast and the food was ok (typical breakfast food) — but we REALLY enjoyed our time there! Looks like we should have gone back for lunch ;)

This is a fine old house overlooking the Columbia that has been converted to a restaurant.
My bacon cheeseburger arrived quickly, was HUGE and perfectly grilled. The curly fries are fresh cut and delicious. Service is fast here and soft drinks come in enormous tankards.
There is outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.
Bring an appetite!

Omg, the food was great! Had the mushroom Bleu Burger and curly fries and loved the taste of all of it!
The service was wonderful… very sweet ladies working there. Helpful and thankful to the customers.

The service was good, and our waitress was very attentive with coffee and had a friendly charm to her. That was about the only nice part. It’s supposedly newly renovated environment sucks, and the food was so/​so at best. Eggs tasted kind of strange actually. And I sat in front of this desert fridge that buzzed so loud it was like trying to sit and eat on a lawn mower. And the other guests were kind of loud and obnoxious and packed in right next to our table. Maybe it was a one time fluke, but I’m in no hurry to go back there I’m sorry to say.

5 stars hands down, it’s a okay location with great big plates of food, you definitely get what you pay for, it is the best burger joint around I would recommend it to anyone that is just going through or if you’re staying in town. Staff is very friendly helpful and patient, they always check on you just the perfect amount, plus it’s a nice little house they have built into a nice home restaurant. I would recommend more parking space or a better one but for now it’s perfectly functional

Great location with pretty views and you did a fanatic job making a cool old house into a homey diner. Love it! Great patty melt and french dip with big olé piles of fries. Thanks for the hot coffee and chocolate cake to go! We’ll come back next time we are passing thru town.

Massive mugs of soda and the bulldog burger (1.5 lbs of beef). A meal of epic proportions! Tator tots definitely better than the fries. Soft buns, thick and crisp bacon, and a perfectly well-​done burger make for a great meal. Not the best burger I’ve ever had but delicious and ranks pretty high on the list. The bulldog burger is $ 16.50 but well worth the price for an unforgettable burger. Better yet, split it for a memorable date. Definitely worth the trip from Battle Ground.

Very friendly service! The server greeted us right away and was very attentive. We ordered a Chili baked potato and a crispy chicken salad to share with myself and my mom. Baked potato was 5 stars (HUGE! And tasty chili. Comfort food at its best. We cleaned the plate between us). Salad was 3.5 stars (for $ 10.50, it’s a cheap pile of iceberg lettuce topped with chopped up tomatoes, cut up fried chicken, olives and too much shredded cheese — wouldn’t order it again.)

Loved this place, one of the better burgers I’ve had in a while. They have a full page of burgers on the menu, and I’m gonna have to go back and try a few more. The only detractors I could see, was that they didn’t ask how we wanted them cooked, not a problem for me or the wife, we both like ours well done. Also my son ordered the beef taco, and it came out looking like a taco salad, little bit heavy on the lettuce, but it was easily scraped off to the side. The place was decorated for halloween, and the bathrooms were spotless. They have a nice little patio, so you can sit outside, but it was extremely windy that day and we elected for inside. Great place to stop for a burger on your trip up or down the gorge!
