TSA Checkpoint Main – Washington Dulles International Airport

This is the best TSA I’ve ever seen in the US. Much faster than usual. Much better than Reagan. The TSA does nothing to actually assure our safety so the only criteria to judge them is how fast they get the people through the useless line. Its impossible to give the TSA 5 stars so, 4 it is.

I find it hilarious that we can now review the TSA, a much maligned government entity under the dhs umbrella I believe. I’ve never had a particularly bad or good experience but the TSA Instagram is one of the more entertaining feeds out there… I would however recommend that airport’s standardize what qualifies as precheck eligible, as it seems at some that military walk right through, whereas if you start assuming this you will get a rude finger jab to get in the correct line at other airports

I agree with efficient but awfully rude. Not all but enough of them to make a negative impact on their collective image.

The TSA at Dulles has gotten very efficient, but seems like the TSA officers have gotten more rude. Not all… just a few who like to order people around. There is a difference between giving instructions and passing out orders.
I remember they used to have signs on what needed to be done… laptop out of the bag, shoes off, belts off, have your 1 quart bag of liquids etc… now you have a rude person that thinks we’re supposed to know how things are done. I travel a lot but not everyday buddy. Take it easy… I’m sure your job is repetitive but asking me to do something is nicer than ordering and being a dick. And what happened to the announcements with instructions on how to proceed through security?
Wow…flash back to my army days… sad part is… this is was my home airport.

If you forget your jacket at security, don’t expect them to help you. In fact, expect them to dismiss you, and/​or argue with you, even when the jacket is there. Rude rude rude, and not helpful.
