jakes did me right. thought I blew up my pcm and they were honest and fixed the car by replacing the fuse. what a relief. I thought I was looking at a 700 dollar job and I was out of there for under a hundred. it’s nice to know there are some honest mechanics out there.

My car had a misfire so i took it here. After having it a day, I was told the engine needed to be replaced at a cost of 7800 dollars. This was more than the car was worth, I told them no. Then they said they could put in a used engine for 4500. This was still too much so I decided to take the car back. When I picked it up I asked what was wrong with the engine… they didnt know. All they knew is that it was low on oil and needed to be replaced. When I got it home to check it out i found it just had a leaking valve cover gasket. It was a 50 dollar fix with about an hour worth of labor. These guys dont even put in the effort to rip you off. Never take a car here.

I’m not sure what has changed here recently but my recent visit was horrible. After having my car all day no one called me to quote repairs, I came at the end of day3:00 to pick it up and that’s when I was told what was wrong with it. then asked if it could be done to pick up my kids by 5. I was told yes and it was done at 5:00. Not even an apology. I would not recommend.
I can’t speak to honesty as I have no idea if what they did repair was all really necessary. They could not hear one of the 2 noises I brought it in for, I will be going elsewhere.

It took this place way too long to do a basic tune-​up. It took two separate appointments for a diagnosis because they were just sooooooo busy. The owner is really cocky and pushy and treats every customer like they are ignorant and he is the engineer who created the automobile. Dropped my truck off and picked it up two days later because nobody had looked at it. He claimed he has a Ford specialist who could look into the problem. The next week I went back and told him I got a rental for the week and need my truck back, fixed, within 1 week. The owner gave me a hard time about the rental and said he also had a rental business and how much enterprise had taken advantage of me and ripped me off on a rental and how I should have rented from him. 10 days later he called and said my F150 needed all new coilpacks and when I went there there was the same truck as mine parked next to it as they were swapping parts to find the problem. I ended up with an $ 1600 tune up that I had never consented to make the costly repairs. The coilpacks he charged me for he had claimed were $ 200 each and the truck needed 8 of them. I called Autozone and they have them for 39.99 each. I am quite sure that all the bad coilpacks on the truck next to mine were put on my truck and I was charged for their replacement. I told on of my friends about my experience and they told me they went to school with the owners nephew who refuses to work for him because he blatantly rips people off. I hope people learn from my mistake and go elsewhere for auto repairs. I also learned the guy has a few classic cars he stores at this place to make it appear as if he works on elite cars and is some sort of specialist.
