The three stars are because I love my chandelier NOW that we have it hung in our dining room. I ordered my chandelier and was told it would be shipped in five working days. After three calls, it finally arrived in three weeks. It arrived in a used box, absolutely no instructions, and critical pieces missing. I made many calls and three trips to Home Depot for screws and bolts. I was told over and over that customer service would call me back. NOT! I had to keep calling and calling. The savings was really not worth the stress and time involved. I was in sales for many years and was shocked to see a company so poorly managed with such poor customer service.

I purchased a crystal chandelier and spot lights from this place after checking all the local store prices I found they were way cheaper. I made a long trip to the place and purchased the item. The Russian girl over their didn’t provide freindly service, but I was happy with the price and knew what I needed so purchased the lights. A year later I reliesed that I didn’t need the spotlights and I called Eliezer the boss who is very nice and gave me an extension on the return policy which is a year and gave me a store credit. Also the lighting has to be assembled by the customer but it comes with instructions which are easy to follow.

I went with them because they had the best price for the particular light fixture I wanted. Shipping was rather slow (in fairness, their stated shipping policy does not set any false expectations).
Having ordered from them, I now understand their model: they act as a broker… you order through their site, and the product ships directly from the manufacturer. In my case, the light fixture arrived about 10 days from the date I ordered it.

Let’s say 2.5 stars. Three seems overly generous, but we do have an exquisitely gorgeous crystal chandelier in our entry as a result. Unilocal doesn’t do half stars, so three it is.
The customer service here stinks. While they sell beautiful lighting fixtures at deep discounts, making them accessible to those who might otherwise not consider such extravagant pieces for their home, the service sucks. The directions that accompanied our chandelier were painfully inadequate. Not just to us, but our highly experienced electrician who said he’d never worked on anything so difficult. The extra labor hours it took to install more than outweighed the discount we got for shopping at wegotlites.
When we called to ask for guidance, the phone service was horrendously rude. Each person we talked to sounded hassled and aggravated that they would even need to speak with us at all, how nice for having dropped $ 200 on a light fixture. Some crusty jerk begrudgingly talked us through the gaps in the information sent with the crystal, but it didn’t do much good. He was such an ass, we were almost ready to box it up and send it back. But it’s so damn beautiful.
The rainbow-​flashy-​sparkly beauty of our crystal chandelier can’t be overestimated for its classy ambiance. It’s the first thing we notice when entering the house, and boy does it fit with how special we feel towards our home. This light was a big splurge during our renovations — we could have found something more practical to replace the ’60’s fixture that was way past its prime — but the wegotlites price was so attractive that we went for it.
Would I recommend the store? Only if you’re an electrician or know one really well who will cut you a deal on labor and you have tough ears for dealing with mean-​mouthed customer service. Otherwise, you can find all these sparkling, flashy, over-​the-​top gorgeous fixtures somewhere else.
