I’ve been here twice because the pizza is Decent. Nothing to tell my mom about … They’re service is terrible from the guys as well as the girl behind the register Who knows y they are like this but I hate to assume Hmmmm. I’ll just give them one star for ok pizza

Awesome pizza place! I’ve been eating here for over 10 years, even though there are two other pizza places around the block from me. The pizza is delicious, fresh, and not ridiculously overpriced like some places. Seriously, I have woken up in the morning already craving their lasagna pizza. No shame. And since a good slice on SI isn’t too hard to find, the real bonus is that the people who work here are super nice. They treat their regulars really kindly as well, always asking how you are. One time I forgot to pick up part of my order before a party — called them up, and 6 minutes later, it was at my door! These are the kind of business we want to keep open, people! There were a few times where one or two people hired there were rude, but they seem to get fired pretty quickly(less than a month later they’re usually gone), so it doesn’t seem to be something the owners tolerate. TL;DR: go go go go yummy pizza and nice people

I don’t know what the hell was going on last night and how the rain affects their cooing but we orders Chicken Vodka Parm and a Lasagna. There was absolutely no ground beef or any other type of meat in the lasagna and the whole bottom was burnt black to include the aluminum foil tray it was housed in. Don’t charge top dollar if you’re going to be mediocre with your cooking.

Dino makes the best Sicilian slices, he’s an extremely hard worker and very dedicated to his job. I placed a catering order from here about 3 years ago for my job and they all raved about their eggplant parm and shrimp scampi. Salads are always fresh and their bread is made on site. Workers are very nice. I read some reviews stating some workers were rude… Running an establishment that is very busy with hustle and bustle has it tolls however I never saw them as rude, they just place your order and off to the next one, No harm in that. That;s how you run a real business in NY. Keep up the good work Village Maria!

Village Maria is my favorite pizza spot on the island. I’ve been only going here for the past several years. I had a promotional class at the cvs store right next to this pizzeria. Around 11 we got a 10 min break so my friend and I looked at each other and were like pizza? Yes please! We went outside and saw this pizzeria rift away and they just just opening! We asked the guy opening the gates if there’s any piZza ready since they just opened he said take a look inside. We walked inside and to our surprise there were about 10 different pies of different toppings ready to go! My friend and I were happy lol I ordered the fresh mozzarella square and my friend got a regular slice. My square was soooooo good lol I will be coming back as I do live 10 min drive away. But I will def come back lol Great service as well! Prices are pretty high though. I think my square was 3.50? But eh isn’t pizza expensive nowadays. See you soon!

Pizza used to be a lot better, the main thing stopped he from ordering from them was the fact that they make the French fries in the same oil they fry calemari in, I don’t want my fries tasting like fish. The delivery is always very fast but not worth it anymore

Seems to be the local pizza place where everyone knows each other & seems like a really nice place to hang out. The pizza I had was pretty good though large for me and I would have liked it a little less burned. Overall, no complaints here.

I like this place. I order from them sometimes, never been to the place though. But it’s in a plaza with tons of parking. The pizza is good and the appetizers I’ve ordered too. I would definitely recommend it!

Pizza was made cheaply and they never told me they put hot pepper on my pizza till I started eating it. crust was so thin the cheese was coming out from under it. Nothing was exactly fresh and the service was pretty bad as they told me to open my own bottle when I did not have a bottle opener.

Great pizza overall. But I will make this review simple. Go get their buffalo chicken pie and a buffalo chicken roll to go along with it. Without a doubt, the best buffalo pie you will have. Large pieces of chicken cooked in their very tasty buffalo sauce(very flavorful) with chunks of blue cheese all over. How in the world can you go wrong? I’ve had a good buffalo pie from a number of places on SI and this one is tops. I’ve been getting their buffalo pie about 7 years now. And I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

The local pizza pie joint. We have been coming here since FOREVER. Everytime I come and visit my aunt.. . I always crave pizza. Luckily, this is literally down the street from her house. My cousin(the local) and I came here after the road trip from Boston 2NY.. . which wasn’t bad @ all, I may add. The workers are friendly and fast. I love everything abt their pizza. Man, new Yorkers, u really know how 2 eat! We had the mushroom pizza, it was fresh, huge and lots of mushrooms! Delish!

Just about the best pizza on Staten Island. Never disappointed. The chicken wrap lunch specials are great also! What a great place :) recommend grilled chicken, roasted peppers and mozzarella wrap. Highly recommend the family deal! For less then $ 30 you get a large pie, baked ziti, chicken roll, garlic knots and 2 liter soda. Great value. Add sausage or mushroom for a few bucks more to the pie :) Hands down my favorite food on earth from here is there deep dish spinach cream and mushroom slice. $ 3.50 and excellent! So filling.

Not a fan of the pizza, at all. Too heavy & super oily. The sauce & cheese are really disappointing, the crust isn’t too bad though. However, the people working behind the counter are friendly & the service is pretty good. My sister ordered pasta with butter & it was presented to her on a really pretty silver plate with a real fork & even a red, checkered cloth. If you desperately have a craving for pizza, this place can somewhat satisfy you. But if you’re looking for a great-tasting & good quality pizza, try some place else.

5 stars??? Are you kidding me? I didn’t even want to give them 2 stars, the only reason I did is because their ham and cheese roll was very good but the regular pizza and the fresh mozz pie was awful! They were so soggy and oily and not even warm, and the workers were not friendly at all! I’m sorry am I the one that is supposed to be happy and friendly for walking in your place??? I DON’T THINKSO!!!

Great food! A tad on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and this is worth it. The place is kinda small when the nursing home people are on break during the week but outside of that perfect pizza joint!
