Unfortunately, for the price of $ 35 the food items were okay. The only items I would see at worth for were the Lobster in Special Sauce. The sushi were decent size this is a buffet and you can grab as many as you want. The seating was crowded for saturday night so it had a vibe. I think hibachi section was really overbooking so there is a long wait, seams people were waiting for awhile. Quick in and out is my style just before the a movie at Kerasotas. This is a great movie theatre check it out! My server was great, which is why i would give it a 3 star. She replaced a cocktail with out problem for my gf. Additionaly, gave for 10% off for no reason. I will have to ask next time I go. Please beware the bathroom on a saturday night was not attended too. Would I come back, sure! For a quick bit but not until I have a craving for sushi. Its not as clean and large variety as Minado since they do serve Hibachi there. Hope this review helps and go enjoy if you want. Just understand its a buffet that just opened up and still maybe working out the staffing issues.

Horrible!!! I don’t know how this place does it and gets away with it, serving subpar food in a messy, almost frightful atmosphere. Here’s what I mean. Walking in it looks nice enough. There’s a water pond with real fish and a big Oriental statue. You pay up front, last time the cashier just charged my card without telling me the price. Me thinking it was alot cheaper than what she charged, had a mini confrontation bc the price was listed differently on the website. They’ve corrected it, but point is, she should have told me what the price of the meal would be instead of going ahead and swiping my card. The manager who was there duly noted her misstep as well. So walking into the main event, it still looks okay. The tables are a nice shiny mahogany color, but as the eyes creep upward, it just looks dark and dreary looking. Walking towards the buffet, there’s food on the floor, food on the sides of the serving spaces. The sushi buffet area looks like a disaster scene, and the workers do not look happy to be there. They make different rolls, but they all taste the same. The self serve soft ice cream machines are off in an almost scary back corner. I feel like I want to make my cone and run the hell out of there! Each time I’ve gone there, it’s been 2 girls working the room of about 40 tables. They always look overworked and overwhelmed. There’s a middle room blocked off just for garbage and used dishes… it’s always packed and filthy! The food is average, it’s not delicious, it just fills the plate. It’s mostly fried stuff, or fried stuff that’s later put into a sauce. It’s not special at all, but that’s what they charge a whole lotta bills for.

How dare these people christen themselves«Tokyo…» and fool innocent Americans into thinking this is real-deal Japanese food! I’ve been to these Asian buffets on both coasts and they suspiciously feature mostly the same fare like the red/yellow/green layer mini-cake, soft-serve ice cream, mozzarella cheese sticks, exceptionally crappy sushi, etc. Conspiracy? Perhaps. What saves these people from one-star hell is the fact that some of the food is actually edible, and they have a cook-to-order grill(I had steak and salmon, both were okay). I’m sure the owners laugh all the way to the bank.

This place has mostly Chinese and Japanese food and sadly it doesn’t do either of them very well. The place isn’t very clean at all. The floor is dirty and sadly so was their ice cream station. Sad fact considering there were a lot of kids there. The buffet tables were in a room that gave off a very dreary, industrial cafeteria vibe. The sashimi was borderline tasteless. The sushi rolls were just ok. Not great and not lousy just ok. They had a bunch of mediocre Chinese food, Japanese food and standard American fare(mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, fried chicken). If you prefer quantity over quality this is your place. Otherwise put in a little extra money and treat yourself to a real night out.

I am always nervous when a sushi buffet type place opens up, so I passed on this place the first time I saw it. There were no Unilocal reviews or any other online reviews I could find, so after a recommendation from a co– worker my bf and I tried this place last night. It looks like your typical Chinese Buffet, but the room is very dark, dank– looks like a HS cafeteria. On further inspection, it smells like one as well. They have a sushi/sashimi portion, where someone(Not of Japanese descent) is cutting sashimi and making sushi rolls. Im sorry– I like authenticity! To the left of that station there is an ice cream machine/station and a few small desserts. The ice cream station was a mess. There were cones all over the floor and left in the ice cream machine in gobs of ice cream. Dirty and not maintained. There is also a raw bar with clams and oysters, and steamed crab legs. Then there are several hot stations with various chinese foods(fried rice, white rice, generals chicken, lo mein), then another with mac n cheese?, mozzarella sticks, calamari again??, chicken fingers, etc., then a salad bar(with tripe???), and a fruit bar. The whole food area is rather small. The dining room is huge. Its cheap too– Fri/Sat/Holidays are $ 16.99 pp and weekdays and lunches are cheaper. The dining area and the area where the food was was not well maintained. They need to be more on top of picking up food, napkins, etc. off the floor. It gives the place an icky look to it. The sushi rolls tasted like good supermarket grade sushi. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The generals chicken was good. The sashimi was flavorless. You needed it in a roll with other flavors and ALOT of wasabi and ginger to eat it. The bottom line is we wont return. The owners are obviously trying to make a quick buck and arent genuinely concerned with how the place looks/quality of the food. As always, when we stray from Mitoushi, we pay. Lol. Our curiosity got to us and we had to try it. But in the end, no one has affordable, top quality sushi besides Mitoushi, We will def be in there tonight for some redemption!
