The pies are solid. And the staff was NY friendly. Dining room was in need of cleaning so we had to clean a spot to eat. Trash was overflowing. Lots of locals were having lunch Have the Buffalo Mozzarella slice — yummy!

Nope. Poor customer service. My office orders from here once in awhile and I’ll occasionally order a hamburger with fries. 4 out of 5 times the burger will have cheese on it despite my specifications NOT to include cheese — I’ll even recap the order on the phone before hanging up. Asked for a new menu with updated prices 3 times but got nothing each time. Last time I phoned an order in, I was immediately placed on hold but could still hear the chatter over the line. I heard things like«it should be there soon, I’m sorry it’s taking so long» and the employees behind the counter grumbling about the«pain in the @$$» customers. After waiting on the phone for over 8 minutes and hearing the other line ring and an order being placed, I was hung up on — I should have taken this as a hint that the people working the counter that day weren’t really on the ball. The pizza isn’t that great either. Flimsy, soggy crust with oily cheese. I’ve had it in store and delivery. My office only orders from here because of how close it is. Get it together guys, I wanna like you and support local businesses.

Yet another example of NY hospitality/customer service(or lack thereof). This review is mainly for the cashier/young lady in the front. I was a first time customer who didn’t know the difference in price between differing slices of pizza and was treated like this knowledge was a given. I’m sorry, but isn’t that your job? To explain the difference to me? Additionally, I wasn’t greeted upon entering the store, and the cashier didn’t even look up from whatever she was doing when I approached her(although this may be the Southerner in me expecting too much in the area of customer service). The kitchen staff seemed friendly enough. Actual pizza slice(chicken parm) was sizeable but not that great. I got it to go and got a pizza sideways on a plate in a bag. No napkins. Suffice it to say I won’t be returning.

This was a decent pizza place. Huge slices, not cheap. The pizza is not good at room temp. Enough said. I do recommend

The pizza is great. I only order by the slice since I have never needed an entire pie. However, all the other food I’ve tried from subs to pasta to rice balls were only mediocre. Stick with the pizza.

Sooooo disappointed. The pizza is always good… but I wanted real food. Ordered penne a la vodka w/chicken n garlic bread… epic FAIL. How can pasta be nasty?! This can’t be life… my bread too… oily and nasty. Noodles just as dry as a summer day… never again. $ 25 down the drain.

Greta Pizza with an excellent crust. What I love about most New York Pizzeria’s is they sell by the slice, usually displaying what they currently have to offer. Such is the case at J&B. I had a slice of Chicken Cesar. Yes he had a Cesar Salad with chunked chicken on a pizza slice. It was very good. If you are in the area, it’s worth stopping.

BESTPIZZAEVER! We love this place so much we even hit them up if when we find ourselves in Jersey. No matter what the reason for heading to NYC, whether it be for business or pleasure we ALWAYS hit up this joint and bring a cooler so we can enjoy their pizza at home. The chicken marsala pizza is our personal favorite — unique and savory, even a hit with the kids(minus the mushrooms). There are a few other, mostly white pizzas that we equally enjoyed. My husband is also a fan of their calzones — big enough for even the hungriest of men. Dining in house is a step up from the normal pizza places we have back home. Fresco walls and an old Tuscan feel, and authentic Italians in the kitchen.

The staff is friendly. The food is only meh. I’m a red sauce snob and their sauce is just off to me. I know that seems like a very simple to thing to be snobby about but, I can’t help it. I’m the same way with chicken rolls and J&B’s rolls are only okay. The quality of the chicken doesn’t seem so great. There are better pizzeria options close by.
