I have been given bagels with almost NO cream cheese here so many times, it is really a «shame on me» situation considering I kept going here. The old guy will give you a dry bagel every time. Today was the final straw. My husband stopped here and brought home bagels that had so little cream cheese that i took pictures, and felt I finally had to call this place out. A bagel is supposed to have cream cheese, guys! You lost two customers.

Well i was craving a cream cheese bagel soo i got one with fresh smoked salmon(lox) The bagle was huuge! Perfectly chewy with a slight crunch around the edges. Perfect amount of cream cheese and no shortage on the lox! There were three younger guys running the shope, all very sweet. Will return!

This saddens me because this used to be my favorite bagel shop on staten island. The last few visits have been horrible. On one occasion I got a plain bagel with cream cheese. The bagels are different than they used to be which would be fine except the fact that when I got to the end of my first half, there was a horrible flavor in the cream cheese. I have no idea what snuck in or if the product had turned but I ended up vomiting and throwing the rest out. I decided to go back today for a bacon egg and cheese and a drink. Easy enough, right? Evidently not. I paid 8 dollars for this sandwich and a drink. When I got to my job and went to eat it, there was no bacon at all and barely any egg. To make matters worse, the drink already had it’s seal broken and was flat and had gone bad. I was not happy because I was looking forward to a good breakfast. The prices are steep compared to nome bagels which I highly recommend because their sandwiches are great. So sad that this place has gone down hill like this. Perhaps new workers would improve the situation.

I’m actually considering getting in contact with the Consumer’s Affair’s office because of this establishment. This review hurts because I know the owner and my complaint isn’t towards him but the workers he employs. Twice already, my food has been measured and I was charged a completely different price. I know this because I have seen the price on the scale and without a receipt or a price stamp on my container, at the cash register I get charged more. I’m not sure how the law works but I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to advertise a product at a certain price and charge than what is advertised. If you’re going to go in there, go there for the bagels. They cannot rip you off on that. Just stay away from the cold cuts, chickens and the salads because the prices they show are different from what the workers want to charge you.

This is a tough review for me because I really love this place but last few times we haven’t had great experiences. I ordered 3 bagels with whitefish salad($ 5.99 each) and when we got home to eat it, we had a hard time FINDING the whitefish salad on the bagel! It looks like someone put it on and the wiped it all off with just a trace of it left behind. Very disappointing because this is not how they used to be. They used to put enough that it was oozing out and you could TASTE it. To be fair, their bagels are amazing and so is their chicken salad and they make nice sandwiches. Normally I’d give them 5 stars. I would have given this review 1 star if it wasn’t for great past experiences.

I love their bagels. Used to always come here after school. So big and yummy and they always have a huge variety. I usually get either BLT on everything or just everything with cream cheese but it’s so cheap and they aren’t cheap with the toppings. Definitely a go to spot for breakfast, lunch or a snack

Quite possibly the best bagels on staten island. I’ve had my share of bagels on the island but the only store I go to anymore is Bagels and Buns. Their bagels and cream cheese are freshly made in-store. You can actually watch workers make bagels in the back. Reasonably priced to boot, this is hands down my favorite bagel store on the island.

As I female you can’t even walk in here without a sexist comment being made to you. I have been in here on more than one occasion. The men are sexist! Do you not respect your wives or sisters at home to say things to random women that walk into your store and make them uncomfortable. I couldn’t even withdraw money out of the ATM once without a man hanging over me making an unnecessary comment about my chest looking down my shirt. Do not support this place they have no respect for WOMEN!!!

They have vegetable bagels. Bagels with vegetable pieces?! This is how you should get the veggie phobic people to get vegetables! Genus. Now to make it a whole wheat vegetable bagel. That’s the good stuff. I ordered the vegetable bagel with lox cream cheese and apparently there’s an option for cream cheese with lox. The cashier asked me what I ordered and I told him lox cream cheese and he asked cream cheese with lox? It was an awkward moment because we kept repeating ourselves and it wasn’t getting anywhere. from my understanding, lox cream cheese is pieces of lox in the cream cheese where cream cheese with lox is a piece or two of lox on cream cheese. Besides that, I haven’t had a bagel in ages so this was satisfying. I also love introducing food to people and finding out that they loved it and go back for more.

The BEST spot to start your morning off with. the bagels are always fresh and the breakfast sandwiches always hit the spot. The crumb cakes is also excellent as well as their apple turnovers. The iced coffee is perfect to get when the warm weather arrives

I’m here a lot always grabbing a dozen bagels for the guys at work! Their bagels are awesome! Love their homemade cream cheese! And if your ever there at lunch time grab their buffalo chicken panini! It’s the best! Always quick service. Lines get long sometime but wait for it. Don’t forget to get the cream-cheese!

Huge bagels at low prices? Yes please! I wish I had this in Jersey. Places we have aren’t bad but this one is a whole new level. For every 6 bagels you buy they throw in a free one. Normally we get a dozen and get 14 for taking into work on a Friday. Everyone now looking forward to them. They have other food aside from bagels which is good and also coffee which I never get. Place is also clean, opens super early and staff is friendly.

They close the grill at 1. Okay fair enough, that’s not their problem. Though I’ve gotten an egg and cheese in a deli in Brooklyn at 3. Three workers standing there and they couldn’t even get my order right. I said I wanted a plain bagel with cream cheese, and another plain bagel with egg and cheese. One worker thought I wanted an egg bagel? I said I only wanted one bagel with cream with cheese then. The guy proceeds to call out my order, «TWO bagel with cream cheese.» Lol… And nope, they didn’t even toast it. Hopefully, my review helps another customer. Remember, the grill closes at 1 and you have to specify you want it toasted because they won’t even bother asking you.

Very good bagel shop. Went for breakfast while I was working a holiday weekend. BLAHHHH but anyways the place was busy so I figured its good. They had plenty of workers and they moved quick. Different flavors and selections of fresh baked bagels and they have different types of sides you wanna add to them. I had me a nice roll with egg whites and ham with lots of ketchup! It was really good and fresh! I enjoyed it very much! They listened too me. I would def. go back to this place if I’m around the neighborhood. Decent prices and I would def. get a nice half dozen bagels and get one free! They also have cold cuts, coffee, ice coffee and different juices and waters. Nice bagel shop and lots of parking. Cash only!

In my old neighborhood. Nice size bagels & pretty cheap. Buy 6 get 1 free for $ 4.50. If you want great sandwiches for a party this is your place. Just place order a couple days in advance.

Love this place! Have been going here for about a year now. Before I discovered Bagels & Buns, the only place to be satisfied was in Manhattan where the bagels cost $ 6.00 a pop! Bagles and Buns you can find a great bagel with even better spreads and cream cheeses than in Manhattan. Olive pimento cream cheese, bacon scallion cream cheese, vegetable, lox… the possibilities are unlimited. They also have a very nice bakery section with brownies and muffins and danishes. Cold cuts and deli area is always clean and fresh, sandwiches never dissappoint. Sometimes on a Saturday or Sunday morning the line can get backed up, but I have never waited more than 5 – 7 minutes.(Well worth it). Another bonus is the crew of guys that work the bagel /deli area. It’s always a pleasure to see them in the morning and I usually get the same young man every time I go in, and he remembers my order before I say it. Coffee is great, store is clean — Love this place. Wish they would expand and add some more stores to the Island, We need«REAL» bagel stores !!!
