Right on the California /​Nevada state line… Hilarious how the Casinos and indoor smoking are allowed just steps from it being illegal

T’was a fun night opening my ears to some new music. I watched an older American Jazz Fusion Band called Spyro Gyra. It’s was a fantastic night chilling with the older generation folks sharing our love for jazz music. However, I will save the review for the concert for a place like Ticketmaster.
Anyways, this is an intimate venue. It can instantly be transformed to a concert venue full of old folks bobbling their heads to old school music or a rachet twerk-​a-​thon clubbing venue. Take note, DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore is coming to Lake Tahoe July 19, 2014. I’m not sure if it’s worth it though since the clubbing scene isn’t my groove. On the other hand, there are two full bars with friendly bartenders. It can be a bit pricey for the drinks. When I bought myself a coke mixed with vodka for six dollars, the bartender was a pretty cool guy to chat with although he thought my ID was fake. Dude, I am of legal age! However, his good service earned him a good tip from me. Also, I’m in love with the acoustics with this venue. The sound bouncing back from wall made the music sound a bazillion times more awesome than the recording track.
My recommendation for all of you folks considering watching a concert at the Harrah’s Showroom is to pay attention to bold letters on stage when referring to your ticket. Also, count the rows to find your section and look at the top tip of the seat to find your seat number. I know it sounds like a pain in the ass, but that’s how they roll– sadly. There’s also not many ushers available inside the seating and staging area only the ones checking the tickets, so good luck trying to find your seat!
Good venue for the most part! I would happily come back to this welcoming venue for its beautiful acoustics.

I’ve been here a few times over the years, and it hasn’t changed. In my opinion, the place is I need of a face lift! Very typical casino atmosphere. Nothing special about this place at all. The food court is below average for a casino this size, and there isn’t much room to sit and eat.
If all you want to do is gamble, it will suffice, but if you’re looking for something more fabulous try Mt. Bleu down the street.

So I’ve only been here to utilize the party floor and coat check. But those both rock! We’ve seen the same DJ the few times we’ve been here. I love that you can come in and dance all night for free whereas at some of the other surrounding hotels, you’re paying a premium for the exact same experience. The coat check being free is of course wonderful!

We came here for a show last weekend and the room was fantastic!
Good size, clean, comfortable, great sound. Intimate setting!
Two side bars, plus a full bar in the lobby. No smoking, no waitress service. No restriction on cameras (but this may depend upon the performers wishes).
About the only negative was finding that the hotel restaurants shutdown about the same time as the show ends (21:30). Bummer…

This is a small venue so you get that intimate feeling.
I have seen several shows here. The sound system is good. Seats are regular chairs as they remove them after shows because the lower seats are converted into a dance floor after the shows.
Best of all it is in the casino. So you can gamble before or after. Eat before or after or just hang around and people watch.

Comfortable, small venue to see a show. Even the very back seats are worth it. We saw Frank Sinatra Jr here with his large orchestra and the show was fabulous! I would see Frank again at this showroom.

Nice Venue — I’ve been here several times and like the layout. We saw Leon Russell and the show was better than ace — people danced in the aisles including myself. Afterwards, we stayed and enjoyed live music and more dancing at the bar near showroom. We stayed at Harvey’s but they’re connected so we never had to go outside in the freezing cold to get back to our room.

I am not going to review all of Harrah’s because I have only really been to the Showroom. I liked the venue a lot and it was very organized to get in. Drinks were a bit pricey I heard, but drinks right outside were fairly reasonable so I waited until after the show for my drinks. I really enjoyed seeing Sammy Hagar’s show there although it was a bit short.
