Specialties
The Daybridge Child Development Center was created to provide quality daytime care for the children of families working for the Pennsylvania State University and the surrounding community. Located in beautiful Innovation Park, the center was built in 1997 and has grown with our neighbors. Each classroom is designed to be developmentally appropriate and meet the needs of the age group. Our teachers’ mission is to inspire a love of learning through daily experiences that allow for hands-on fun and creativity. As a Daybridge family, know that we prioritize safety, learning, and the relationship we have with you and your child. From daily activity reports to developmental check-ins, we’ve developed ways to help you stay informed about your child’s experience with us. Should you ever have any questions or concerns, however, please don’t hesitate to come to our teachers or staff. Our open door policy covers more than just communication — it means you’re always welcome to visit your child for lunch, circle time… or «just because» time!

Meet the Manager
Bettie M.
Manager
Bettie has been working with children all her life. As the oldest daughter in a family of 8 children, caring for children comes naturally. In 1986 she discovered her passion for Early Education and created a community run preschool for children in Penns Valley. Since then she has enjoyed countless children in several centers and a charter school. In addition to her duties at the center, Bettie serves as a PQAS trainer and reviewer for Better Kid Care.
