Had the chicken and beef teriyaki plate. It’s a really good deal and the proportion to meat and rice is just perfect. Comes with two sides a regular salad and a macaroni salad which are a great pair. What I thought was a bonus was the fact that you can order your food regular or spicy which anyone that loves spicy food will like the option and it’s the perfect heat if you are not too crazy for really spicy food and if the heat isn’t enough you can also get hot sauce on the side.

I ordered the regular teriyaki chicken bowl. Cooked fresh and has bomb sauce & generous portions. Will definitely be coming back.

I came here for the first time on a whim because I saw it on the road while driving. I thought the name was kind of quirky, lol. Then I saw the big signs for food around $ 5. «Mr. Teriyaki» was at the front and he was nice enough to explain the whole menu on what to expect. «Mrs. Teriyaki» was in the back cooking. It’s a cute pair. They don’t speak the greatest of English but they’re forward on getting you food quickly. I gotta say for a random place, this is good! It’s very clean and well lit inside with lots of comfy booth seating. There’s even a shelf with a bunch of magazines that you can read while you eat. I’m definitely going to remember to come back more often! I really enjoyed the Chinese Chicken Salad. It’s not too dressing soaked plus the orange slices are a yummy plus! Don’t get the kimchi though, it’s not their fault that it’s bland tasting because this isn’t a Korean restaurant; only they do them right.

The restaurant is very clean. The chicken teriyaki and orange chicken are both very good. My favorite is the California Roll. I have recommended the restaurant to family and friends.

I was in the area for an errands and i was very hungry! I came across Mr. Teriyaki via Unilocal and they had good reviews so i decided to give them a try! I ordered beef teriyaki plate, side of chicken salad and a drink. My first to last bite was AMAZINGGGGGG the taste was rich and i couldnt stop digging into the plate!(i normally focus on my phone more than my food, but because it was soo good i couldnt look at my phone) Not to mention, their portions were perfect for someone that eats a large pizza by himself! Overall, my experience at this restaurant was superb! Too bad this isnt near my house. because i would eat here everyday if i could. P.S Their service is as good as their food!

I wish I could give this place more stars because the service was great and the restaurant itself inside was very nice and homey. However, the food was horrible and lets face it, the the whole point of eating out is the food. In addition it is in a bad area with difficult accessibility. Wood not recommend for anyone.

Ah. I noticed the change of owners and interiors. It is perfect size for family dining. So I gave it a try. DUDE. their chicken teriyaki deluxe is soooo goooood. At first i thought I was going to share my portion with my younger brother… But he also liked it soo much that i ended up buying two!!! And the sushi rolls!!! Just thinking about it makes me want to go back now. This place is my new ultimate fav!!! Chicken teriyaki deluxe — definitely a top notch. That kick of a spice is perfect! Tastes so fresh i can never go back to panda and yoshinoya. Sushi — dragon roll. It seems to me this place gotten a major upgrade ever since the owners have changed.

When you find a great spot to eat at you support the business. The Asian chicken salad is amazing and their sticky rice is just perfect. The beef and chicken ate equally good and the next trip I will try the dragon roll or crunch roll.

I tried this place for the first time last week. It is literally across the street from my house. I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and kim chi. They didn’t tell me they don’t have kim chi, but they charged me for it. Get home and there is NO kim chi. This seems to be a theme with this place. Went back last night, ordered a combo plate with beef and chicken and 2 large chicken plates with green onion. Came home, no beef in the combo plate and no green onion on either of the chicken plates, but they didn’t forget to charge. I won’t be coming back.

UNDERNEWOWNERSHIP! I have always liked the food here. I usually get the chicken plate with extra chicken for under $ 10. I really like that they are open until 8:00 pm. Always satisfied with the service, and quality of the food.

While next door at the donut shop… I smelled that smell of grilled meat with teriyaki sauce carmelized and charred. I just had to stop in a try something. Got a beef bowl which Boo snatched up. While it was good… the sauce was on the salty side and at $ 7…it was just ok. I would only eat here if a) was in area starving and b) sauce was on the side.

Clean place and a pretty straightforward menu of teriyaki and rolls. Teriyaki chicken was juicy and not dry and the Teri sauce was typical out of the bottle stuff but good. I would stop here again for dinner or lunch Enjoy

I’ve been driving passed this place for years and have never given it a shot. After it popped up as a 4 star joint on Unilocal,my fiancé and I decided to try it out. Needless to say, we’re very happy we have. Walking in, you can tell it is independently owned. I personally don’t mind but others might. They have 1 cook in the back and the gentlemen that works the counter, I’m assuming he is the owner. Very sweet guy, he chitchats and makes sure you’re aware that some items may take a bit of time to make depending on the time of day you come. We came an hour after they opened and had to wait roughly 20 minutes but for those that were on lunch break or in a rush, he tends to pay close attention and get them in and out as quick as possible. Aware of his customers time, I like that. My fiancé stayed home sick from work so we were in no rush, our plans were just to go back home and lounge for the rest of the day since he was not feeling his best. I did notice, and was pretty astounded about this fact, that he realized he ended up overcharging a customer, the customer was unaware of this but he stepped up and walked over to the customer and gave him back what he overcharged him for. The guy was confused but the guy working explained to him that he accidentally pushed the wrong size or something on his meal and was due a return in difference. Most other places would have just let it slip. It looked to be around $.50 something so that was sweet of him. Glad we gave it a shot, we’ll be back.

I go to jack in the box across the street a lot but am tired or the multitude of homeless who hang out in front, bypassed it and tried this place. Ordered the beef and chicken lunch combo. Upgrade to a large bowl and large drink for a buck. Good eats! Chicken and beef were well trimmed, no gristle! I hate gristle. Rice was spot on, cooked just e ought to leave some bite. The large defeated me, I left almost ½ the rice behind, my eyes were bigger than my tummy. I will probably opt for sushi next time. Good place for a decent bowl, I’ll try the Cali roll next time, or maybe the crunch roll. Owner is nice, he saw i was driving a prius and he’s interested in getting one. I was trying to describe how driving a prius to get over 50 mpg in socal while trying to keep up with traffic isn’t easy, if you own a prius and speak korean and happen to visit, try to explain it to him.
