Express Test Only Center

This place changed owners. The prices are higher and not really a set price. Called on the phone, the lady said $ 45 total ($ 10 more expensive than the previous owner). I went there the day after and the lady said it would cost $ 50, when I was about to leave she said $ 45 is the lowest they would go… the whole price issue was annoying. But the smog check itself was quick and simple.

I was there about 2 weeks ago to get a smog check but did not pass. Basically, I had replaced my battery and my emissions sensors were reset. Needed to drive my car in a specific cycle for it to register data. So I returned this past week to retest and the place has been closed the past three days. No notice, phone is disconnected and the website is down. Unfortunately, I had already paid in full ($ 40 cash) during my initial visit and have to now I have to go somewhere else to get tested.

You should update your hours. Your hours say Sunday open 10am-​2pm and I waited till 11am and still no luck. Doors and gate still close. That’s just horrible. I even called and machine says open at those hours I stated above. Don’t ever say your open at those times if you are not going to be there.

It took 20 mins… I got Charged $ 40 cash… I guess he raised the price. I didn’t pass the smog test. So the $ 40 didn’t include the certificate because I didn’t get one. Sign for me to get a new car.

Open on a SUNDAY! The smog gods were great to me as I was hitting my deadline. I was in and out of here within 20 minutes. It was a pleasure.

Just came here for the second time and Danny was a delight to talk to. He was very quick and thorough with the smog check all while carrying a conversation with me. I think I was in and out of there in 20 minutes or so. There’s really no reason for me to go anywhere else to smog my car in the future!

Just found my new smog station.

I came here yesterday to get an out-​of-​stage smog check. My car is registered in another state, but I am here in CA for work. The price was fair ($ 40) and the guy working didn’t even blink an eye for being out of state.
There was no wait and I pulled right up. The dog (Penelope) hanging out was super sweet and the waiting area was nice to have. The service was quick and the guy working was very polite. The entire process was easy and straightforward, which is all I can hope for! I highly recommend this place.

Found this place on Unilocal and figured I would check it out! Definitely agree with the positive reviews. Does seem like a one man operation, but he very nice, quick and efficient. Great customer service and super affordable. Used online coupon and only cost $ 38 cash for my SUV. Will absolutely come back when I need to have a smog check done again! Was in and out in 15 min!

My 2^nd time back. Really cool guy, fast and efficient only took about 15 minutes.
They lose one star because I presented the coupon from the penny saver, they also have one online. It should have been 32 $ total but he charged 35 $. They need to change their pricing!
Other than that this place is pretty hassle free and if you fail they will retest for no extra charge when you come back.

I came here on a Saturday to do a smog test. My dad had told me to come here. He found this place in the penny saver and told me to call and bring the deal in. I totally did that, rolled in, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. The guy who assisted me was polite, and quick. Luckily when I came there wasn’t a wait. It depends what car you drive, etc, in regards to cost. I paid $ 33 cash. Make sure you bring cash. That’s what it advertised on the deal (cash only).
The only part that was lame was that my dad told me my mom had come in with the same deal and was charged a lot more. Had I been there…

I came to this place because of the extremely high Unilocal reviews and let me tell you they are well deserved! Don’t let the look of this place fool you. The owner is very nice and professional. And the Smog test took only 10 minutes and was fairly priced. It’s nice to meet honest people these days. I will always come here from now on and highly recommend this place. Well played sir.

Was in and out of here in less than 10 mins. Good service quick results plus there’s a online coupon bringing the total to $ 35 from $ 50.

Both my sister and I needed to get our smog checks
She found this place on Unilocal and we both met up here to get our cars checked. We came on a Wednesday around 3pm and there was no one else there. This place is small and is located on Beach Blvd. It can be pretty easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention. Once we arrived, the guy that greeted us was super sweet, friendly, and nice. He said it would be $ 33 for cash and $ 35 if you use card. We both had cash and paid him first. We went into the waiting area and both cars were done in less than 15 minutes. It was super fast and we couldn’t have been more happy.
Don’t expect a fancy car place. This place is far from it but it was straight to the point. They have a large TV with some sofas and chairs for you to wait. However, the wait was so short it didn’t even matter. I’m glad it’s nearby because our whole family will be coming here again and again.

Have been here twice now, and will this will now be my smog-​test station of first choice.
The place is small: only one testing station and appears to be run by a single owner-​employee. However, he is very efficient at keeping the cars constantly turning through the testing. Prices are very fair, and if you pay cash you can use a coupon found either in the Penneysaver or online. I also found the owner-​employee to be very straight forward in his explanation to myself and others who I witnessed testing before me.
No one likes having to get the smog checks done, but it’s a necessary evil to live and own a car in California. This place makes the process as good as it can get.

Worst customer service… USED to be the best place to get a smog… NOT anymore.

Clueless as I am about cars, I asked around and Roy B. recommended this place.
Read his review couple of times (I had to make sure I was taking BB to a good place) read other reviews, stopped looking and went.
Here I was, me and BB ready for its first smog check (It slightly made me think of parents taking their kids for the 1^st day of kindergarten lol)
Danny, the owner, and his crew are great.
They checked BB, quick and painless.
Baby Blue passed his first smog test and I’m not as broke as I thought I’d be…

Price: Their website has a coupon. If you can print it, just call and let them know. Smog check is $ 30. And if you have to do a star type (?) its $ 35. They take card.
They have a dog here but hes leashed and quite. Seating area is ghetto comfy. You are paying $ 30 vs the usual $ 50 around the area. I called around for prices first.
