History

Established in 2013.

Partners Bill McQueen and David Siddall met at the prestigious Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to starting their boutique law firm, Bill who is a native of St. Petersburg and worked as a CPA, business attorney, President/​CEO of a private business, and industry consultant. David served as in-​house corporate counsel with two Fortune 100 energy companies in Houston, Texas.

Business Owner

Bill McQueen joined the Florida Bar more than 25 years ago, but in the intervening years has logged a professional history that encompasses a deep swath of entrepreneurial and executive experience. He has worked as a CPA in both private and publicly held firms, as a practicing business attorney, and served 16 years as the President/​CEO of Anderson-​McQueen Funeral Homes in St. Petersburg. Inspired in part by his experience working with families about to face legacy issues, Bill left the funeral business in the hands of his brother, John, and returned to school to earn an advanced degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. While there, Bill met future law partner, David Siddall, and together they formed McQueen & Siddall, LLP, to focus on the legacy needs of families, seniors and business owners.
