Went here with my boyfriend, I walked in and 2 people were fighting, the place smelled and a few drunk people were at the bar. We turned around and left.

4 of us stopped by this bar in the early evening, it was not real busy but not real slow either. When you walk in it smells, this should have been our clue to leave. The bartender was extremely rude as if we were interrupting her day by ordering 4 drinks. We just ignored it figuring she was having a bad day. The drinks were lousy, we also ordered some wings and they were soggy, cold and not very good, we didn’t even eat them. When the bartender saw them she just took the plate without asking if we liked them or not. Then we saw a fight break out and the staff just stood around watched and laughed. I felt terrible since nobody broke it up. What an awful experience. This place is very poorly managed, none of us will ever go back there again.

We stopped by this place to end our evening since it was close to our resort. It was going on midnight, and maybe eight patrons were there. In another hour, it was standing room only. We found the girls behind the bar funny and accommodating. Plenty of TVs to quench your sports thirst, and we made a lot of new friends. Ended up being a pleasant surprise, and we’ll be back.

I feel like this is a hidden gem. Awhile back when my boyfriend and I came on vacation to St. Pete before moving here we went to all the typical beach bars, but then asked the locals other bars we should check out. Someone suggested this place. I will say we were a little hesitant because it was called«McNasty’s» but we went anyways. It’s your typical dive-like bar but in a good way. The drink prices are reasonable, bar staff is friendly and will strike up a conversation with you and is a good place if you want to get away from all the tourist like bars. They darts, pool, and a big screen tv if you want to check out a game. Plus, they are open till 3 — so if you need a place to go after all the other bars start to close around 12 — come check this place out!

Pretty cool bar on St Pete beach. Have been there a few times now and havent found anything to complain about. Drink prices are fair and the bartenders are very friendly and easy to talk to. Iam not really sure about the food. I have never had it so I cant comment on that It is cash only so be prepared for that. It is open till 3 am so if you are looking for a place after the the other bars close this is it. Still dont understand why the most bars close before they have to on the strip but McNastys gets it! Sometimes you just dont want to go home! Will be back to this place soon.

I really like this place. TV’s everywhere. They had the Rays on every channel. Atmosphere perfect. Had the empanadas; exceeded expectation. Nice selection of ice cold beers. My wife had a couple frozen drinks she loved. Bartenders very attentive. Just be careful when depositing money in the jukebox. There is a kid(20’s?) who claims to be the owner’s son,(with all the bro fist bumps he was getting, I believe him), that is borderline violent about song selection. Pick anything but whiny country crap and you’re liable to get an earful about how«I own this jukebox». When my wife played a rock and roll tune in he threatened to «escalate the situation.» I did not judge the bar by his antics, he may have been a drunk loudmouth off the street. Again, fun bar, good food, attentive bar staff, but be careful if you rock the jukebox. You may get paid a visit by the jukebox nazi.

This place is not bad during the day. However at night, the bartender/manager Trish totally sucks. Very rude and unwilling to wait on people unless she feels like doing it or does not have her face stuck in her cell phone. I was there with a group of at least 10 people and I know we spent at least $ 100.00 in about 30 minutes. I won’t be going back or any of my friends until Trish is gone. That bar just lost lots of money. I would rather give MJ’s my money.

We were on vacation from west palm beach and everything there closes at 4am so as soon as 11 hit everything on the strip started closing up, we found McNastys! So much fun!!! Serena the Bartender was so good! She made my birthday perfect! We met all the local bartenders there and had such a blast! Thank you !!!

Several of my friends and wife(all of whom work on St. Pete beach) decided to give this place a try after a few beverages at Sharktales down the road. We were in the mood to try some new places on the beach as we have lived here for 8 years and wanted to try somewhere new. My initial impression was that this was a very well appointed sports bar with all of the makings a great place to throw a few back and watch some sports. The TVs were well placed and the huge 8 panel monitor behind the bar was very cool as well. However, once we had our first interaction with our bartender the night took a decidedly negative turn. When I asked the bartender what flavors of wings they had her response was little more than«umm, we can do like a buffalo, or some lemon pepper…». She didn’t even bother to tell me when my food was ready, luckily I noticed that she set it on the other end of where I was standing with my group(6 of us total). Throughout our time there she kept rudely reminding us of how much the drinks we were ordering cost, as if we were somehow unaware that we had to pay for what we were ordering. The preceding matter was compounded by the fact that she never bothered to ask us if we wanted a single refill on our pitchers/drinks or how we liked our food. Additionally, there were several instances when we tried to get her attention and were blatantly ignored while she either continued to chat with other bar patrons or played on her phone. In our whole time at the bar(approx. 2 hr) the bar had maybe 20⁄30 max people in it and she was not the only bartender working. The worst experience of the whole night came when my wife and I decided to leave. It took me about 10 minutes to get the bartender to break away from her conversation with the customers DIRECTLYNEXTTOME to even bring me my tab. In this time she was having a personal conversation with included looking at pictures on cell phones she was no more that 4 feet away from me, so its not like I was trying to get her attention from across the bar. She informed me that it was cash only after brining me the bill, not a problem as they have an ATM on premise to use. The only issue with this is that I had to walk away and try to get her attention again. After several more times of being obviously ignored by her I managed to get another bartender to assist me with closing out my tab(the other woman was very nice and helpful). I have seldom experienced such rudeness and disregard in my life, let alone from someone in the service industry. The next day one of our friends let me know that the bartender said that someone in our group didn’t pay their tab($ 21.50) and that she made them pay it… THISWASTHEEXACTAMOUNTOFMYTAB!!! If she had bothered to cash me out or check with the other bartender she might have realized that we paid. I will not returning to this establishment and I would encourage anyone else to avoid them as well. Our area has many established venues to spend your money at that will treat you with the respect and service you deserve as a patron of their business.

This place sucks. I moved to st Pete 3 months ago and went to this bar 2 – 3 times a week. The fourth week I was forced out of the bar for not paying for a shot that was given to me by a bartender without any notice that I had to pay. She said drink this, and that was all. I was thrown out forever by the owner!
