Same as other reviews. She was so rude when she found out i had a group on and said she was closed. It was 2 pm. She closes at 5. Im going to contact group on and try to get a refund.

Echo other thoughts. This is a SCAM business. They set up a groupon and then reject it when they think they can make more money. It’s honestly shocking how they just shrug at this behavior. The husband-​wife owner team are really frightening. When we arrived the husband appeared to be under the influence given the way he slurred his words when he passive aggressively let us know «oh you yeah you have a reservation on the beach, my wife has been waiting for you down there» when we were 20 minutes early.
When we got there his wife was sunbathing. When we told her we were here for our reservation she asked us what she wanted us to do (as in, check in or let her lay there until 1130?). When she finally got up she asked us to pay — we said we had a groupon. As soon as she heard groupon she turned into the weirdest, meanest person I’ve met. «We don’t take groupon during… weekends…er…holidays…er…we don’t do this on 4^th of July.» NO WHERE on the groupon do they list these limitations. When we brought it up she got incredibly rude and said «most people tell us on the phone they have a groupon.» What does that mean? Why didn’t you ask
At this point she attempted to charge DOUBLE THEIR RATE and didn’t care that she was in violation of the groupon listing. She honestly was one of the worst people I’ve talked to over a 5 minute period. I can’t understand how strange her behavior was.
There are SO MANY other services that do watersports, please give them your money. They are cheaper, nicer, and easier to communicate with than this scam of a business.

Purchased a group on, contacted the company a month prior to visiting the area via fb to confirm some information. Recieved a prompt, pleasant response.
My experience when calling today to book was completely different. The woman who answered was nice and accommodating regarding availability this Sunday, weather and even stated they had plenty of boards available when I mentioned I might be calling later to add another board to the reservation.
That was until I mentioned the group on I purchased. She then stated I would have to call back to book since she’s out of town. I asked when. She said Monday. I explained I’m in from out of state, if there was anyone else I could talk to that could book me for this weekend? She responded and was quite curt, stating no one else could assist, she is the OWNER and that I can contact group on to get my money back! I replied by stating we were looking forward to it and apologized for bothering her today. The she prematurely terminated the call. I’m shocked.

Shane and Grace are awesome, great personality, insightful, great rentals, reasonably priced and their shop is super fun and most importantly their pup Roxy is sweet as can be. If you’re at the beach and need a paddleboard this is the place to go!
