I had locked my keys in my car while on vacation, so I picked the first locksmith I could find. Big mistake. The man I talked to on the phone was super friendly and polite. He told me that the estimated cost would be around $ 50. Seemed a little pricey, but I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere without my keys. The guy they sent was absolutely incompetent. I had my car parked in a parking garage and the driver called asking if I could drive my car down so he wouldn’t have to pay the fee to get in. I should have hung up the phone and found someone else. Took him 15 minutes to find me. I saw another locksmith car and asked if he was driving the blue truck. His response? Yes. Later on, we found out he is driving a white mini van. He didn’t know his lefts or rights so it was near impossible to navigate him towards me. As soon as he gets out, he tells me I need to pay him now. I tell him that I will pay after the service. It takes him literally 20 seconds and the price becomes $ 155. I ask him why and his answer is because I am in a parking garage. At this point, I’m done dealing with him and agree to pay. He insists on going outside the garage to pay out there. While we are driving down, he calls to ask for my credit card information to speed up the process. I tell him that I will pay outside and he continues to say that he needs my credit card information. When we get out, my card is declined. He tells me that I’m wasting his time by giving him a bad car. After it being denied twice, I punch in the information myself to have it be accepted. After he writes me a bill and writes my name as ‘Shelfe Donkey’. I beg you to pick someone else. Honestly, a monkey would do a better job then this joke of a company.

Do not use. We live in Wichita, KS. ! I’m not sure how I got these clowns. My daughter lost her keys at an event. We waited 3 hours for him to get to the car. He didn’t gave the key needed. We agreed to meet at 8:30 the next morning. He left the car unlocked and my daughters GPS was stolen. He denied he didn’t lock it, but I videoed me getting in the car. The next morning he was a no show. He said we weren’t there. Three hours later, he called I said I wasn’t there, but 3 mins away, I’ll meet you there. Wait an hour, called, he said I was a no show. We would have called another, but we gave him $ 120 deposit. Come to find out, the reason he needed the deposit, he didn’t have the money to buy the key. They told us the reason he was late first thing in the morning, the key shop didn’t open till 9. It was a mess. Ended up paying for another locksmith. As of right now, I still don’t have my $ 120 back. and they were $ 100 higher then the next quote.

Our experience with this locksmith company was extremely negative. After providing the person on the phone with our location we were told a price to unlock our car door. The price quoted was for our specific model and year of car. He did mention there could be additional costs for anything unforeseen related to the security system or electronics of the car. But if all goes as it normally does it would be the quoted price. The unlocking went very well. It was quick and didn’t require additional intervention that would increase the price. But the price was suddenly $ 80 more than the quote. We asked for a breakdown and it was not provided. The locksmith indicated that was the cost and indicated that he was sent by a dispatch service that controls the price. He said he did not control the cost but was provided a fee for service. He never mentioned the costs being related to our location or distance. We were already late for an appointment, paid the man and left. As soon as we pulled out the locksmith sent a text to the dispatcher. We learned that the dispatcher hadn’t conveyed the location correctly or the locksmith didn’t initially go to the correct location. Definitely poor communication between them. And at that time learned that the increased price was related to the fact that the locksmith went to two wrong locations before getting to us. They charged us $ 80 additional dollars for their mistake. Attempts to remedy the situation with dispatch were futile. The locksmith at one point suggested in the future using a locksmith near our location who would charge less than using this dispatch service. He blamed the price gauging on the service. I believe his suggestion is a good one. Always find a locksmith as near your location as possible and one who works for themselves versus this dispatch service.
