Description

Specialties

We pride ourselves on our huge selection of craft local beers, amazing Russian dishes, delicious pizzas, decadent vegetarian options, awesome music and parties on the weekends, friendly staff, a great patio and a vast collection of funky bicycles for you to check out!

History

Established in 2010.

Tatyana Telnikova and her trusty crew — Blake LaRue and Keeley McGrew met and worked together at the Cabin Inn in the City Museum for two years before they took possession of the now HandleBar space in August 2010.

HandleBar was Tatyana’s brainchild and a dream come true. A place to meet old and new friends, enjoy life, local beer and of course bicycles.

Meet the Business Owner

Tatyana T.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, I came to St. Louis in 1999 and for the most part have been living here since.

I went to John Burroughs school for 3 years, then got my BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis, and my International Masters of Business Administration form UMSL.

I must admit that it took me a few years to warm up to St. Louis, as I always missed the big city feel. But once I moved to St. Louis City from the county, and started commuting just about everywhere by bike, I really fell in love with this place. Having my own business just gave me a greater appreciation for this town — how full of opportunity it is, and how much people here really appreciate creative initiative.

I am so grateful to be living «my american dream». And I hope that the HandleBar, my favorite bar, will be a birthplace of many warm memories and friendships for the citizens of St. Louis.

Thank you all for your support. Cheers!
