I just went to a park dedication and Sorensen Catering was there making pizzas. I had the BEST piece of pizza that I have ever tastes!!! I never eat the crust but this was AMAZING!

BBQ and wine… two great tastes that go great together! That’s just a scientific fact.
I recently hosted an event at a St. Helena winery. I asked them for a good catering recommendation — something that would pair beautifully with their reds and whites. Without missing a beat, they recommended Sorensen Catering. Unbeknownst to me, these guys have long been the BBQ kings of wine country. Long story short — I’m SO glad that we hired them for the job.
We had a tasting of three wines at our event, and Sorensen paired a succulent BBQ dish with each of the featured vinos. The menu for the day included: a free-​range chicken fillet sauteed with oyster mushrooms and topped with an aioli (to pair with a Barrel fermented Chardonnay); a slow roasted pork shoulder with hints of hickory and smoked chili and topped with cole slaw (to pair with a Napa Valley Merlot); and finally, a braised and slow roasted top sirloin topped with aioli (to pair with a bold Cabernet). Each dish/​wine paring was a match made in culinary heaven. Sorensen Catering truly hit it out of the park.
Lastly, they also provided our party with what seemed like an endless supply of BBQ pork sliders (mouthwatering, flavorful pork and crisp cole slow served atop a soft, fluffy bun) with a side of green salad and pasta salad. Everyone at my party was «ooh-​ing» and «ahh-​ing» with delight.
Sorensen Catering more than lived up to their fine reputation. I would gladly hire them again for future events.

For years we enjoyed the Sorensen Catering Lobster Boil parties as a winery in Healdsburg but it wasn’t until we hired them for a private party that we really got to see how terrific they were; not only in providing a TOP QUALITY meal, but in their customer service, communications and overall professionalism.
Thank you, Dennis and Sorensen Catering. You really gave us a tremendously delicious meal and you were wonderful to work with. hoping to have you back for a another Lobster boil party in the future and several of our guests asked for you card!

We recently used Sorensen Catering for a birthday party. It was an informal pizza party for 80. The Pizza’s were top notch and their staff was professional and helpful throughout the event. We look forward to using Sorensen Catering again in the near future.

I have booked Johnny’s crew twice now for private parties and have attended another Sorensen lobster boil. These guys are a class act and have the lobster boil thing down to a science.
This past weekend, we had 37 people bibs on, drawn butter at the ready. Half the group had never seen a presentation like this — it’s really spectacular and impressive. This time we even got a lobster cracking lesson and a tutorial on how to make your own dipping sauce from the ingredients out of the pot.
These lobster boils are ridiculously good!

Delicious lunch if your in town. 11am to 2pm wednesday’s only. One lunch kit for chosing. Either your hungry or your not. Soda’s are extra and brownies too. Bought lunch for acouple of guys on my delivery route. And DAMN it was good!!!
If your in town for lunch, and have 10 $ you cant go wrong.

John Sorensen, aka the Lobster King, was the PERFECT choice for our rehearsal dinner at the Silverado Vineyards!
With two long king’s tables covered with plastic table cloths and lobster bibs neatly placed over each chair, John Sorensen’s team then came out with steaming hot pails of deliciousness and poured the goods right before our eyes into a vibrant and gorgeous spread.
Everything from juicy red lobsters cooked to perfection to artichokes, corn on the cob, potatoes, shrimps, spicy sausages, garlic, butter, baguettes were provided by JSC and our guests LOVED it all!
Not to mention the service was very friendly and attentive. They were quick and responsive when a few of our guests could not figure out how to de-​shell their lobsters and helped to bring it back to the kitchen to be perfectly de-​shelled.
JSC definitely was fun, original and very tasty… I couldn’t have been happier with the way our rehearsal turned out.

I’ve used Sorensen Catering for 2 lobster feeds I’ve put on, and each time has been flawless!!! Their staff is great! The food is AMAZING!!! They are a very safe bet for any of your catering needs!

We have now used John Sorensen Catering for our third year in a row. He is known as «The Lobster King» There are a lot of places that put on lobster feeds, but John Sorensen Catering does it all. They provide all the food: lobsters, prawns, sausage, corn, artichokes, garlic, onions, potatoes, sour baguettes, lots of butter. Even ice cream for dessert.
All you provide is the tables and chairs and they do everything. They did an amazing job at cleaning everything up as well. The cooks/​servers do a nice job of serving, but then being in the background for the festivities.
