WOMEN BEWARE!
Every time I take my ’01 Avalon in for a recall or oil change, because I have a coupon, at check out, it needs $$$ in additional repairs. Always happens…
I decided to have my husband take it in when I got a graduating coupon and have it get a full check up and inspection. $ 400+ later the car was great! Ready to go for the next few thousand miles.
About a month and 50 miles later, I got a coupon for $ 20 for any service. I realized the car needed an oil change. I took it in and had the service done. At checkout, I paid about $ 9 for the oil change BUT, I needed $ 450 IN ADDITIONAL REPAIRS. One repair was $ 150 to replace a cracked engine mount. The service writer even pulled out his phone AND SHOWED ME A PICTURE!!! I got suspicious when he had to search for the JUST recently shot picture on his phone.
I took it to my regular mechanic. THEY SAID, if an engine mount cracks, you have to replace them all. They put the car on the computer and put the car up on the rack and searched for the highly visible crack that the dealer showed me. They couldn’t find ANY cracks. They said the car will need the other service that the dealer recommended, but only eventually (at ²⁄₃ the dealer price). FINALLY, my mechanic said the front struts where showing the first signs of leakage, but again, not urgent. The Toyota dealer missed that entirely during TWO multi-​point inspections performed in about 4 weeks.
By the way, BT Pearson, went through the car, said nothing needed to be done right now and CHARGED ME NOTHING.

For the second time in about 6 months they totally dropped the ball. The completely forgot me in the waiting room the first time. After a couple hours I went to see what the hold up was and they admitted they completely missed my appt. and it would be another couple of hours. The second time I asked for a shuttle and after an hour of waiting was told no one had it down to come get me. The final straw was a $ 40 estimate for repairing a tail light bulb. $ 20 for the part and $ 20 for the labor. I ended up going to Doug’s Master Auto Care for the tail light. He charged me a total of $ 3. INSANE!!! Never going to Toyota again.

I went into Stephen Wade Toyota for an oil change. I asked for full synthetic oil when I made the appointment, which is the oil recommended for my car. She told me the price for full synthetic and it was reasonable.
When I paid, I see that they put in conventional. Not a huge deal, annoyed but I’ll just get another one in 5,000 miles instead of 10,000. Not what I wanted, but whatever. Now onto my main reason for writing this review…
During the oil change, the rep brought in my cabin air filter which I knew was filthy. I told him that I have one at home and do that myself. They really try and tell you how dirty it is and how bad it is for the air, blah blah. For $ 55 that is an absolute ripoff when you can do it yourself for $ 10 in less than 3 minutes. I understand that people can charge whatever they want and that’s ok, just not for me.
Well when I changed my cabin air filter maybe 4 days later, I see that the guy installed the old dirty one upside down!!! Thus blowing all the dirt and sh*t that is supposed to be filtered out, into my air ducts! I think this may have been on purpose because I declined that service as well as $ 1400 in other «repairs» that I «needed». I will never take my car back to Stephen Wade Toyota of Saint George Utah ever again.
Talk about dirty bad quality air! Good job Stephen Wade! Really pissed about this, and no, I didn’t contact your store before writing this review because I’m not looking for a canned BS response.

I came to Stephen Wade Toyota on July 22. My tire pressure sensor came on my Corolla, and since I was in the area, I decided to stop by to get it checked out.
Boy, am I sure glad I did!
Two weeks prior to my visit, I stopped at Big’O’Tires in Cedar City, to get a puncture in my tire patched up. After the service was done, I was told by a manager that the puncture was to small to charge for service. It should have been a red flag for me that I got my tire serviced for free. So, being naïve, I believed the gentleman and went on my way.
Fortunately for me, I did not have to drive the car very often in those two weeks.
Well, my husband and I drove to St. George when we noticed the sensor turn on. Thinking that the sensor was broken, we pulled into the Toyota Service Department.
Michael A. (Toyota Service Consultant) was the first to greet us. He was very nice and welcoming. We told him about the issue we were having with the sensor. So he said «Well, we can take a look at the tires and the sensor and see what the problem is.»
My husband and I waited in the lobby while the car was being overlooked.
The décor of the lobby was very welcoming.
Free drinks (water, soda and coffee) and snacks provided while you wait. There is even a little «Gift shop» area to buy TRD Gear.
We received a call from Michael asking us to go back with him where the cars were being serviced. Once we arrived, he asked exactly what service I received from Big“O’Tires. I told him exactly what the manager told me when I had the patch work done. He, as well as the mechanic (I did not get his name! Very helpful and nice as well), informed me that no patch was done to my tire. Instead, my tire had been filled with beading seal, due to the whole inside beading of my tire missing. (PICTURES ADDED). To my surprise, I was very upset. The «sealant» looked like glue on my tire on both sides of the tire. Because of this, if I had made a sharp turn in my car, the entire tire would have ripped apart. Thus, causing our lives to be in jeopardy.
Michael informed us that we could discuss this issue with Big’O to resolve the problem that they made. He told us we should have them replace my tire free of charge. So, we dealt with Big’O’s Manager and Corporate office. Michael even got on the phone with the manager to discuss with him IN DETAIL what they found wrong.
We are very grateful for Michael and his honesty. He did not try to sell us anything, he was genuinely concerned.
Due to his excellent care, we will be back in the future. He made long time customers out of us.

Drove from Ogden to St George to buy a 2005 Saab, beautiful car. My salesman was Cross. quite friendly.
Picked up the car. took almost two hours to close the deal, only one business agent. Ready to leave only one headlight and no license plate lights. The owner J Wade came out and juggled the headlight.“Don’t touch it… Service was closed. had to stop driving at dark, left headlight pointing to 10 and the right pointing down.
Made an appointment with Saab. both light bulbs had to be replaced and aligned, wipers and window tint was Way to Dark. Had the UHP come check it out «Should not have passed Inspection» I had to remove the tint to be legal… never was given a copy of the inspection., I had to get one from Utah… it was «Pencil whipped» at SW Toyota
Finally UHP today, nothing but excuses… tried to make it be my fault «Bought as is», yes I did but SW Toyota flat out lied about the inspection… I fixed 5 items $$$$$. Any other items were on me and I realize that
Salesman «Cross» would not answer emails, on hold for forever at other extensions. impossible to get anyone to answer their phone.
Be careful shopping there and remember J. Wade and Cross if you go there… no stars given here. Also plan on a comment on YP (Yellow pages)
