I ordered from this flower company for my mother on Mother’s Day. I selected one of the more elaborate options, a $ 75 bouquet. Upon the flower’s arrival, the bouquet looked terrible. It looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture online. Far fewer flowers, much smaller, completely different and cheaper looking vase. I called the shop, thinking there must have been some mistake and I was delivered a cheaper option. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and refused to work with me at all, stating there was nothing they could do. So I ended paying $ 75 for a bouquet that looks like I picked it up at a 7⁄11. Avoid at all costs.

After walking out of Batavia Floral a few doors down for their incredibly RUDE treatment of me, I walked into Robbins Flowers at their 143 S. Batavia Ave. location. I needed flowers for my wedding, and I spoke with Carol. Without an appointment she worked personally with me for about an hour to arrange my order. Over the next few weeks we talked several times and she recognized me and treated me like a friend each time. Bottom line: we paid a reasonable amount of money, and had absolutely exquisite flowers delivered exactly to our order exactly on time at the right location. Had I read the reviews here I probably wouldn’t have used them, and that would have been a shame because I could not be more pleased with the service and the flowers that we got. Very personal attention from them paid off.

Robbins… more like robbers. My brother and I live out of state and ordered a Mother’s Day bouquet for mom. We both haven’t had great experiences with 1800flowers so we felt confident that a small family owned business would deliver a quality product. We ordered the Meant to be bouquet after scrolling thorough the website and were satisfied they were able to deliver at the requested time. We were disappointed that the picture of the bouquet mom sent us was nothing like the picture on their website. I would expect this from 1800Flowers but not from Robbins. Shame on you Robbins! At least take a more accurate picture or put a disclaimer that the actual bouquet may differ than how it appears. Oh yea and don’t charge $ 50 for a bouquet that probably cost $ 8 to arrange! It should be called Ain’t Meant to Be because ain’t nobody got time to spend $ 50 on a sad looking arrangement. Ooh to top it off, we had the person who took the order read back the custom message to make sure it was spelled correctly and it still wasn’t right! At least it wasn’t as bad as Ellen’s who left a previous review. Stay away from Robbins and spend your money elsewhere!

Absolutely horrible and disappointed. Quality of the flowers and attention to detail were terrible. There is no passion or personal touch added to the arrangements provided. For the price of the arrangements and the outcome of the final product my family was extremely dissapointed. I am a firm believer to support our local businesses but I would not endorse this business to anyone. Go elsewhere if you are looking for quality and beauty as well as better pricing.

Was very disappointed in an arrangement I had sent to my wife for our anniversary. Called to talk to someone & got therir voicemail(this was during business hours). I left a message & asked someone to please call me back. Didn’t hear from them. Use Town & Country if you’re in the Fox Valkey area!!!

I ordered flowers by phone as a birthday present for my aunt. Don took the order and told me that the flowers would be delivered tomorrow. Unfortunately, my mistake was calling too late in the day for same day delivery. To my surprise, I got a call from my aunt a few hours after placing the order, thanking me for the flowers! I called the store and spoke with Don and he told me that the delivery person had made an extra trip to the store and was able to wait while the arrangement was created. He then delivered the flowers to my aunt, today, on her birthday. Don also changed my «belated birthday wishes» to «happy birthday today». It really made her day! I can’t speak to the quality of the flowers, etc. but she loved what was sent and I thought that the customer service was spectacular! Thanks Robbins Flowers for making someone’s day a bit brighter!

I love their orchids, always gorgeous. I don’t mind spending extra $ to support a local business, that’s what we should do. But to spend $ 50 on a EXTRA small orchids, only for them to completely butcher the sympathy card? This is what it read: «Hang in they’re Love Ellen». One sentence, bad grammar. C’mon!

Find another florist for better quality arrangements! Although the locations in St. Charles and Batavia are listed as Teleflora locations, their arrangements don’t remotely resemble the Teleflora listings. I’ve sent two arrangements from the Batavia location and just picked up one from the St. Charles location and was very disappointed. The Teleflora listing and image specified roses and carnations. The first arrangement had a damaged specialty vase. There were no roses included in either arrangement. If only I could have gotten the specialty vase elsewhere.

Recently I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife for our wedding anniversary from Robbins Flowers. On the day I thought they were to be delivered, I expected to hear from her thanking me for the roses! However, to my dismay I had mistakenly clicked on the wrong date when I placed my order online with Robbins Flowers. With less than 3 hours left in the business day I called Robbins Flowers in St. Charles and told them of my mistake and asked if anything could be done to deliver the flowers before the end of the day. Thankfully the owner himself, Don Robbins, agreed to personally deliver the dozen roses to my wife. Don went beyond my expectations in fixing my mistake, but also prepared one of the most beautiful long stemmed roses bouquet I have seen in a long time. The roses were the freshest possible and have lasted many days beyond the normal flowers from other stores. There is no doubt in my mind this personalized service and attention to detail has kept Robbins Flowers a great Fox Valley business for over 40 years.
