I can honestly say it doesn’t matter what location you go to the food is always amazingly delicious. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and you are definitely getting your money’s worth from your food to your drinks. Looking for a great lunch/dinner or to just gather your friends for a place to enjoy drinks and mingle, Massa’s is the place to be.

Drove all the way from cape to St. Louis to do Dave and busters and eat so we decided massas sounded good. They closed the whole restaurant for a private party even though they don’t take reservations.

Massa’s is old-style west county Italian. Their restaurants all seem to have a very similar feel: same menu options, same décor, same ambiance. Fortunately, this location has some big windows in the front of the place so that it is not as dark as the other two locations I’ve visited. I was here for a business lunch and I’m sure I will be back many times with the same customers. They seem to favor the place and I’m fine with that because the food is pretty dang good. I started with a Caesar salad. The greens were nice and crunchy while the dressing had a full flavor. Great croutons with a nice bit of shaved Parmesean over the top. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. Crispy breading with moist chicken breast inside pairs well with the tangy sauce. I prefer bleu cheese dressing with my buffalo chicken but that wasn’t an option. Instead, they brought me some bleu cheese crumbles and ranch — not exactly what I wanted but close enough. Next time around I am going to have to try their cheesesteak. A couple of the guys I took to lunch ordered it and the version in this location looks better than the version they serve elsewhere.

It took me 3 visits to find something I actually like here. It’s a favorite of my mother in law or we wouldn’t be going back. The salad is good with the house dressing, and I like the strawberry lemonade, wish they gave free refills. This always annoys me. The butternut squash ravioli is my go to dish now. It’s sweet and savory which I like. We also have gotten the fried artichoke hearts before. They were delicious but a heart attack on a plate.

Honestly, best Caesar salad and that’s usually not one that can be messed up. But service for three orders of raviolis(maybe 5 or 6 each) took nearly an hour with it not being a busy time. Supposedly dropped food and had to remake. It would have been better if they kept us in the know. I’d go back but this is the experience of my first time

Came to masas with a large party. The food, Cajun pasta, was good. Service was good for a party of this size. The interior is a bit odd– part Italian and part Applebee’s with a dash of Cajun. Overall… not bad.

This is a great place for happy hour specials and food. The drinks are good as well. I will Say though the atmosphere is a bit confusing, almost like a identity crisis. A bunch of random decorations everywhere for a «Italian restaurant». Stuffed Animals with old fashion décor. Good place to relax at the bar for some apps and a few drinks.

Ordered mozz sticks(great), baked mostaccioli(good), side salad(big, recommend splitting) and caramel & pecan cheesecake(good, also for splitting). Went mid-day on a Saturday, so service speed was fine. Cute little restaurant. I chose it for location and because I missed the old kirkwood location. Wasn’t the best Italian I have had in StL, but not the worst. Good for this area to have this option.

Must be pretty good. I can’t stay away. Love the pastas. Wife likes the chicken sandwich with side pasta. We will keep coming back. Great service on each visit. I actually like this location better than the old Kirkwood location. The only drawback is they brought all the Kirkwood décor and added some modern elements. Kind of looks like they can’t decide what the look is that they are going for. In any case, great food and service!

Good place to eat. The place had an identity problem. Did not know if we were in a restaurant or a disco. Bar rescue to the rescue!!!

We came here with a very large party of about 25 or so people, so I feel like my experience was a bit skewed. Nonetheless, I am going to proceed… The place itself is pretty nice. It has a fun décor, and feel. They play music, and have a tiny dance floor, I guess primarily used to shake your booty around, because there isn’t room to do much else. They had a decent drink menu which is always welcome when we all go out. Tried a few different martinis, wines, and beers. All were just fine and dandy. The food was pretty good also. Nothing that was absolutely amazing, but all pretty good. The service is where this place was seriously lacking. They only dedicated one server to us, and frankly that wasn’t nearly enough. It took is a little over 3 hours to have dinner. Once we asked for our checks, they did not arrive for about 25 – 30 minutes. I know, I know… you say we had a large party, but dang, closing out tickets can’t be all that complicated, especially since we told you upfront who was on what check. I don’t know if I will ever be back, only because it’s geographic location isn’t anywhere I visit regularly, unless of course I go to SugarFire, and this place will never win my heart over SF. A hot tip though, is they have a 40 dollar open bar NYE party, so if you live close, that seems to be the bargain of the night for sure!

Second dinner at Massa’s was a bust. Had lasagna. Wish I would have ordered something else. I was served a bowl of cheesy, limp, lasagna noodles. Could’nt find meat nor sauce. The cheese tasted like that weird cheese Imo’s uses. My first dinner of stuffed white fish was very good. So… the score is tied… 1 to 1. I will attempt 1 more time to enjoy dinner here. BTW… the Blue Mussel appetizer was delicious.

Some friends and I stopped by Massa’s before our ten year high school reunion because, well, we needed drinks. I’m sure you can understand why, right? High school reunions are utterly terrifying, and a little liquid courage never hurt anyone. We snagged some seats at the bar, and this place definitely delivered. I can’t speak too much to the food seeing as I mostly just had vodka, but what I did have was great! My best friend and I split the large order of toasted ravioli and it didn’t let us down at all. It was on the better side of all the t-ravs I’m managed to consume in my lifetime. The side of steamed broccoli I had was just A-OK, but hey, it’s steamed broccoli. The bartender that took care of us all night was really great and our drinks were rarely empty. I don’t see myself being in this area anytime soon again, but if I am, I’ll definitely consider dinner at Massa’s! That meatball sandwich is calling my name.

Typical suburb«Italian» menu with other American bar classics. Food is good for that style of restaurant. Temper expectations and while you won’t be delighted, it will still be a decent meal.

We have loved Massa’s in one form or another since my hubby was a little boy in the 70’s. This was our first visit to the New Town location and it will not be the last. Loved that the décor at this location is more in keeping with the classic Massa’s feel that we are used to from the Lindbergh location(as opposed to the more modern look of the O’Fallon location). The food was amazing. I had the Combination(baked zit. Linguine and ravioli covered in cheese – what’s not to love??) My hubby and mom had their favorite chef salads with the wonderful Massa’s House Dressing, our son had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Everyone loved what we ordered. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fried artichoke hearts as an appetizer and an order of Garlic Cheese Bread with our meal. Everything arrived quickly and was made to order. The atmosphere was fun with live music on Saturday evening but was not so loud that we could not enjoy our conversation. Our server was friendly and attentive. All came together for an exceptional evening. Can not wait to come back again and happy to get our much loved Massa’s food closer to home.

I went here for my birthday this year and I really thought the menu was great, I ordered the chicken bianco and it was delicious. very big portion size, so I had some to take home too. Nice atmosphere, been coming here since before it was Massa’s. its a great place to come for a meal, I enjoyed it. I totally want to go back and try the buffalo chicken sandwich that looked yummy which was also ordered, and the salad looked really good as well.

This place just gets better and better. It was my second favorite spot… but with Padavan’s menu being sliced in half and never having what I want, it’s been edged out by Massa’s. The owner is super friendly and will come sit with you if you have an empty seat. The food is always delicious. The best thing on the menu isn’t on the menu. It’s the Cajun pasta sauce with tortellini… it’s heavenly. The waitress came up with it and filled me in. I tried it and I am hooked for life. It’s a great place, with great ambiance and great staff. Oh the Cajun pasta… I have a hankering for it as I type. I guess I know what’s for dinner tomorrow night!
