We had Samantha as our server. She was accomodating to say the least. Very efficient and very sweet. We ended up with a pizza for myself & my sister. It was extremely delicious. Prices are reasonable also. Would go back if in area. Highly recommend!

What’s up with the bugs in my drinks at Ameriastar?! That’s it no more drinks for me besides bottle water.
Anyways, I could have did without the drink. It had muddle blackberries and I had already been traumatized by having a bug in our drink here and, at Blackjack in the casino.
Nachos were very hearty. Although, the cheese was a bit cold. If it wasn’t for the decent service, this could have easily been a 1 star dining experience!

Had a not so great experience recently, however when I expressed my concerns to Ameristar guest relations, they went over and above to correct the situation! Another reason Ameristar is the best casino property in STL!

So, yeah I’ve been here sporadically over the years when I sporadically visit the casino *wink*. The menu has morphed over the years. This evening I went with the Chicken Quesadilla and the 4 stars I’m giving this review correlates to the awesome flavor in this dish. The seasoning was on point with the pico inside the quesadilla. The side of guac, sour cream and extra pico complimented the dish well. Server was friendly and timely.

If I could give no stars at all, that’s what I would do. My husband and I went tonight for dinner and it was the worst service we have ever received! We knew going in that the service is usually slow but, we are staying at the hotel and wanted bar food (which is probably the only reason this place stays open). We will never go back. Our server was never anywhere to be seen except when she was talking with the bartender or bringing out food for the other ONE table she had. The server failed to tell me that even if I order a «side salad», it will come out regular size and PRICE. She took at least 10 minutes to do anything and didn’t check on us after we had our food until we were finished. The rest of the people that work there seem equally lazy. There were 2 empty, dirty tables when we got there right next to our table and they only cleaned one off in the time that we were there even though… 2 bussers, 1 hostess and 2 servers walked past it multiple times. I was a server for years and never worked with people as lazy as this bunch !

Pretty good bar food! Great to go and watch the game and drink a beer tower. The wings are good and so are the salads! Nice bar environment with non smoking sections. Decent location with a lot of TVs to watch any game that night be on.
** recently changed most of their menu. The food is now better looking and tasting. More of a high quality sports bar now.
Now they have a little grill you can get that you can cook at your table. Include wings, sliders, and a pound of fries.

Very large sports bar with HUGE tv’s to catch your favorite St. Louis team playing. Food is good bar food. Service leans towards the slow side most of the times we have gone in, but we are never in a big hurry, so we deal with it.
BE WARNED: This is St. Charles county, smoking is allowed in this place, so if you are sensitive to the smoke, I would suggest another place.

Can I give 0 stars? Wow. They must be having a terrible night. Walked in to at least 15 open but dirty tables, and they told us its a 35 minute wait. I don’t think anyone’s working in this place tonight. What a joke. Hostesses are clueless.

Pretty good food, quick service and location obviously is busy which I like. The burger I got was great, it was kind of weird when they bring out your condiments on the side. The burger I ordered was cooked to perfection, I got cheddar cheese, onions, lettuce and pickles on it. On the side I got waffle fries and they were the best waffle fries I have ever had. Just perfect!!!
I ordered my son and daughter each a kids meal which was only 4 bucks!!! They each got chicken strips, each strip was all white meat and tasted great. The only problem was the chicken strips weren’t crispy at all, they felt a little soggy. Taste was great though. I will be back :)

So I decided to grab a bite to eat here while enjoying the casino over the weekend.
I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza not expecting much. Boy was I wrong! This was the best BBQ chicken pizza I have probably ever had. Topping were plentiful and sauce was good. But the crust was amazing! It was warm and buttery with a hint of garlic and it was awesome! I will probably order this pizza every time I visit!

The food isn’t bad but the service is seriously lacking. It took 45 minutes to get a drink (food came out in 10) but still no drink, no explanation, no apology. I was told a manager would be over to speak with me and that never happened. The restaurant was not packed by any means but our server had plenty of time to socialize. This isn’t an isolated incident– it’s happened the past 2 times I’ve been there and I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt but I will not be back.

legit charcoal grilled flavor burger, medium rare was really medium towards rare, such a surprise.
inferno wings were not that hot but cooked perfect with juice and crisp.
23oz. beers for about 4 bucks, can’t go wrong.
no complaints. good service. lots of TVs.

It’s been a bit since my experience here, but I remember it perfectly. Came in to watch the Cardinals 2014 season opener. I sat at the side bar, had a couple of drinks and a Chicken Caesar Salad. The salad was good and the waitress was very nice. I walked away pretty satisfied until I found out they charged my credit card wrong. I thought I had been charged twice, but as it turns out they had charged another person’s ticket to my card, which was over $ 50+ what my ticket was.
The next day (when I found out about the charge) I posted initially on their Facebook page to initiate the complaint since the place wasn’t going to open until 4p. The social media monitor said they would get a manager to contact me. After several hours, I ended up driving back because no one contacted me. I talked to the manager. Long story short, he gave me the run around saying it would be 3 – 5 business days to research the charge and someone from accounting would have to get back to me. This seemed very unreasonable as it should have been a matter of going through the previous days receipts and reversing the charge.
After about 72 hours of going back and forth, I was finally refunded the money and satisfied by the manager over food and beverages for the entire casino. I was sent a certificate to come back, which I haven’t done yet. If I do go back, I will be sure to bring cash. From what I have heard, mistakes with charges are commonplace at Amerisports, which should be a big red flag to anyone considering going. Just make sure if you do, bring cash.

This place blows. The drinks were horrible! I could have made them better myself and I have no idea how to make drinks. Not to mention the waitress had a bad attitude. In the words of Michelle from Full House «you gotta bad attitude dude!» I would recommend just getting drinks from the casino.

It’s pretty much a place to go for burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and beer when you are tired of gambling and you want to watch sports on many many screens! The prices are fairly reasonable ($ 4.49 for a garden salad and $ 2.59 for a soda) and the food isn’t bad. The waffle fries were darn good!!!
Biggest thing I don’t like about here is the smoking/​non-​smoking areas. I’ve gotten used to living in a state where it’s all non-​smoking.

Had a nice dinner here while staying at the Ameristar with a friend while in St. Charles for a weeding. Our server, Lacy, was awesome, extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. My friend and I split the appetizer sampler and everything was really good. Bar food done well, no complaints there. We split the fajitas for our meal and they were very underwhelming but I guess that’s what you get for ordering fajitas at a sports bar. For drinks we had the large margaritas which were delicious and very affordably priced, wish you could get prices like that in Chicago!!! Amerisports is nothing to go out of your way for but definitely worth a meal if you are staying at the Ameristar.

This name does attract people… it has American, sports, bar, grill all in there so people don’t have to think too hard about it… It’s the casino’s version of a chili’s, applebees, ruby Tuesdays, and all those other blah blah places that I steer clear from – all rolled into one. I wasn’t the lady running the show this night so I went with the flow and ended up here. Had the fish –nothing spectacular… stuck with a glass of Chard because I don’t want to be pissed with a bad drink —shared some of the spinach artichoke cheese dip… it was okay…

I went to Ameristar to eat at the buffet. It was closed for remodeling. I guess it is a good thing I came because one of the people I work with was taking a large group for lunch next week to the buffet.
We went here by default. I ordered soup and a salad. Most of you are aware that when you turn 60 the government sends you a letter that you must eat soup. So not being a rebel I ate my soup. The soup I had was chicken noodle. This is not Cambell’s soup. This is the real deal home made and wonderful. The chicken was plentiful and really almost a meal in itself. I asked the manager to make sure it was homemade and he did confirm saying it was made in their man kitchen. Still don’t know what tha means but I guess it was homemade.

Went there this past Friday for a work happy hour. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Service was poor, empty plates, dirty ash trays, etc every where. There was gratuity added to checks for just having a beer and pretzel… not pointed out by waitstaff which i do agree you should pay attention but to me VERY TACKY!!! I got my drinks from the bar and that was fine (I was also paying cash per drink). Not in a hurry to go back at all.

Unexpectedly good for being in the Casino! The service was good and prompt. The restaurant was clean and if you want a REALLY big TV to watch sports on… they got it!!! My only complaint is that it was really cold room temp wise.
I had the Chicken Strips, Cole Slaw, and Waffle Fries meal… excellent! and a very large portion. My husband and I could have shared it. My husband had the wings. The waitress said they were big wings and that they were. 12 were plenty for him and at Buffalo Wild Wings he usually eats 20. This was my first time here but my husband’s second. He suggests the Fish-​n-​Chips. The filets are big and they aren’t over breaded and loaded with oil.
If your at the Ameristar, I would definitely stop in here for a bite.
