Springfield Opticians specializes in prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and sunglasses. There are Optometrist’s on staff who conduct comprehensive eye examination. Examinations include screenings for glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration as well as many other ocular conditions.
History
Established in 1962.
Peter Samano opened the first of our three stores in 1962. His children worked at the store and learned the trade. When they graduated from college, they opened the Prospect Park store (now moved to Holmes). In 1997 they opened Chadds Ford. After Mr. Samano retired, Gary Samano along with his sister Janice Piorkowski Samano continue to run this family owned business.
