Came back yesterday when I was craving a lox sandwich. The ratio was not ideal as you can see from the picture, but it’s priced well for what you are given. The true delight was the everything bagel! Perfectly seasoned. Service was wonderful as always.

I seldom write reviews but this place warrants a rave. Once Bagel Bin closed in Stoney Creek shopping center, I’ve been lost trying to find a «mom and pop» type bagel shop. This place does NOT disappoint. The lady who seemed to be the only person there at the time was very attentive, even just telling me to tell her my order while she was cooking. This place very much holds its own with Sleepy Hollow Delly being about 200 feet away. I got a sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. For such a basic sandwich, it was outstanding. The sausage was almost ½ an inch thick, the bagel had the homemade taste and chew. I can’t rave about this place enough. I also got a chocolate chip muffin that was outstanding as well. Next time I’m going to play with flavors and get Pork Roll, Egg, & Cheese on an everything bagel. What intrigues me the most was that the eggs were being cooked right there, in plain sight, from egg to stove top. This makes breakfast sandwiches SO much better and can make a BF sandwich go from a 3 to a 9. Compared to the ones that use pre-cooked egg patties. *cough* wawa *cough* The only reason I didn’t give this place five stars was because I haven’t tried their lunch menu yet. Once I try their chicken salad or any other wraps/sandwiches, I have no doubt I’ll bump it up to five stars.

Great breakfast sandwiches! I had bacon, egg & cheese on a everything bagel. Bagel was fresh and had great flavor. Oh you must try their coffee cake, it’s delicious! Very friendly staff too :)

Staff is friendly, and the bagels are out of this world. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bagel before work.

First time here. Very small building! Mostly for take-out. If you want to sit they have 3, 2-tops set up in a narrow hallway. We took home 2 breakfast sandwiches and a homemade crumb cake. I originally wanted to sit and eat there but it wouldn’t have been very comfortable. We got sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Also got bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They were very good! The bagel could have been toasted a little bit more but that’s my only complaint. I love this place. Cute and good prices. Their homemade crumb cake was awesome too. I will definitely go here again.

Best bagels, breakfast sandwiches and home made coffee cake! I love this place and would go everyday if possible. The breakfast sandwiches are huge and the bagels are so good. For lunch they make a homemade chicken salad that is amazing!!! Ask for their homemade honey mustard too. 5 stars every time.

I go here a couple times a month and usually get a made-to-order breakfast sandwich on a fresh bagel. Sometimes I indulge and pick up some Firehouse Donuts or coffee cake as well, both are quite good. Great service, locally owned, friendly staff.

Awesome local Springfield bagels. Friendly service. good bagels. And awesome breakfast sandwiches. They also have some cool Looking lunch sandwiches with boars head deli meats. I will be checking that out sooner rather then later. It’s just that pork roll egg n cheese keeps calling my name when I go here.

Not sure who Lupo is, but s/he makes a good bagel. I got 6 bagels this morning around 9 am. Nice and warm and fresh although a few had no sign of a hole in the middle — not even a pin prick. They have the right chew though so someone must have been in a hurry when shaping them.

I was a big fan of Bagel Bin in Springfield until it closed and have despaired of ever getting great bagels. It turns out Brookside is in the same class and has been quietly cranking out wonderfulness for several years. They make a nice variety, all of which are good. And when you get a container of cream cheese, they fill the container when you order it — no pre-filled containers here! All in all, a great mom-n-pop bagel place that does it right. Highly recommended.

Bagels should be boiled so that they are chewy on the inside. Thankfully, this is how they are prepared here. All varieties are excellent! Make sure to have a breakfast sandwich, when you pick up bagels.

A hidden gem. Took me a few years to find. I grew up in a town with two bagel stores on Main Street where everyone enjoyed fresh bagels on Saturday or Sunday morning, freezing the remaining from the baker’s dozen to finish off the rest of the week. The owner and staff are so friendly. I recommend this place to everyone looking for a fresh bagel or breakfast sandwich or a family heading out on a long trip and wanting to leave in the morning with full bellies.

Freshly made bagels every day. Was looking for a quick breakfast and have always wanted to stop in to have a bagel. Today was that day! The wife had a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, while I had a bacon and egg on an onion bagel. Boy did it hit the spot! Along with 3 drinks our breakfast came to under $ 12. Whenever I need a quick breakfast bite to eat I know where I am heading, especially before a long road trip. They also serve lunch, and carry Boar’s Head meats. I will be back for some bagels very soon. Great little shop in Springfield!

For years I never knew this place existed. They’re off the beaten path. But I stumbled across this place last weekend and, given my unhealthy obsession with bagels I had to give it a go. Now, I’m into the French Toast bagels. The ones at the now defunct Bagel Bin of Springfield were decadent goodness. So that was my choice here with cream cheese. The good part… These bagels are well made, very dense inside with no real hole. The chewing experience was there. But this French Toast bagel tasted like nothing more than an egg bagel with cinnamon sprinkled on it. I was expecting a sweeter taste. I didn’t get it. But this place deserves a second chance visit from me to see if they can make my breakfast sandwiches. For now, it’s a solid three stars. — — — — — — — That’s what I wrote a couple weeks ago. I came back today to try a breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel. They upgraded to 4 stars on that sandwich. The bagel was bigger, the eggs were fresh off the grill. That’s what I look for in a bagel place. They’re worthy.

Good homemade breakfast sandwiches and cream cheese. Everything on the lunch menu is good too. For desert try the coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies!

I was quickly growing tired of the two bagel places in the area… found Lupo’s on Unilocal and headed over. Very friendly and helpful staff and, most importantly, tasty bagels. They are different than the bagels you might be used to… bigger, fatter, with hardly a visible hole in the middle. This makes for, when toasted, that great crispy outside and soft inside that bagel lovers… well…love! They have a good assortment of flavors, as well as flavored cream cheeses. They also do breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Fun fact… they are the daily breakfast caterers for M. Night Shyamalan’s movie, After Earth, starring Will Smith.
